Mr. [redacted], We recently received your complaint #

12pt;">[redacted] from the Revdex.com regarding your Sedona Beauty Secrets Account. We take complaints very seriously and we hope this response will provide you with additional information. According to our records, we received your order on June 24, 2016.   The terms of the offer that you agreed to at the time of your order clearly state that you were to have a 10 day trial period starting from the date of your order processing in which you could cancel your account to avoid further charges.  They also indicate that “you must take affirmative action to avoid further charges or you will be charged in the amount of $94.31 ten days from the date of your order processing for the product.”    These terms were presented to you in multiple places on our website when you ordered our product.
When you ordered the product you also clicked a button indicating that you agreed to the terms of the offer. When a customer clicks that button we must assume that they have actually read what they are agreeing to.
Since we did not hear from you during your trial period, you were charged $94.31 on July 4, 2016. You were then enrolled into our monthly shipment program and received one additional package at the cost of $94.31.     The first time we heard from you regarding the cancelation of your account was on August 8, 2016 when you canceled your account with a representative.
The representative reminded you of the terms of the offer that were agreed to at the time of your order and offered a full refund on your charge by returning the product.  You accepted that offer and you were provided with full return instructions.   We have received your package back, therefore, we have provided you with a full, immediate refund of $94.31.   Your account remains canceled and you will not receive any further shipments or charges.   Sincerely,   Sedona Beauty Secrets

Mr. [redacted],   We have received your response from the Revdex.com and take your complaint seriously.  In an effort to assist you we have already cancelled your account and you will not receive any further charges. You have been issued a full refund of $94.31, minus the shipping cost of $10.91. We do not refund shipping and handling costs, this money goes to the postal service.   We apologize for any confusion, and always do our best to resolve any customer complaint or concern in a timely manner. If there is anything more you need please feel free to call our customer service at ###-###-####. We're happy to assist you in any way we can.    Sincerely, Sedona Beauty Secrets

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I am not happy with this because when I ordered the product that I actually paid for it did state that I would be charged 94.31,if it stated that I would have never ordered the the product.

Regards,

I've ordered sedona beauty secrets on 2/3/14, and canceled the order on 2/11/14. I called to get the authorization number and ask for a full refund, because I've never opened the package. They said that I will get only $70.00 from $94.31 they charged my credit card because I've canceled on the eight day, when I had 7 days trial. When I told them that I received the actual package on 2/6/14, which gave me 5 days trial, they said that the trial is calculated from the day I've placed the order, not the day I received the package. The person who answered the call was very rude, and did not have any customer service skills. I am very unhappy with this company, because I never experienced before not getting the full refund for something I've never used. I hope they will never get accredited by Revdex.com.

Please email the receipt to[redacted].com.

A full refund would be in the amount of $105.22, not $94.31.  In either case, there has not been a refund issued because I check my account every few days.
As of 3:20 pm on September 15, you have not issued a refund!!!

We recently received your complaint from the Revdex.com regarding

your Sedona Beauty Secrets account. We take complaints very seriously and we

hope this response will provide you with additional information.  We received your...

order on February 23, 2014

and shipped your package the next day.

The terms of the offer that you agreed to at the time of your order clearly

state that you were to have a one week trial period starting from the date of

your order processing in which you could cancel your account to avoid further

charges.  They also indicate that “you

must take affirmative action to avoid further charges or you will be charged in

the amount of $94.31 eight days from the date of your order processing for the

product.”  Our purchase terms also

specify that if you cancel your account within the trial period you will be

required to return the included 30 day supply within 15 days of the cancelation

date.

These terms were presented to you in multiple places on our

website when you ordered our product. Additionally, you were sent an order

confirmation email after your order was completed that provided a full written

version of the terms you agreed to.

When you ordered the product you also checked a box indicating

that you had read and agreed to the terms of the offer. When a customer checks

that box we must assume that they have actually done what they are stating they

did. If there was any confusion with the terms you could have called our

customer service team and they would have been happy to assist you.

According to our records the first contact we had requesting the

cancelation of your account was on February 26, 2014. At the time you canceled

your account, we issued you a return merchandise authorization number so you

could return your shipment to avoid any further charges.  Using this method, you would have incurred no

charges for the product.   You were given

all return instructions on the website and through a follow up email. You were

also told that the product needed to be received by March 13, 2013.

To date we have never received your returned shipment. When your

due date passed and we had not received our product back you were billed $94.31

for it. If you would like to provide a tracking number or a postal receipt

showing the date the product was shipped back to us I would be happy to review

this further.

Sedona Beauty

Secrets

I received an e.mail from what appeared to be from Marks& Spencers, a UK store, offering a survey followed by a free trial On completion of the short survey I was asked which free trial I would like based on the following costings

Free trial

fee £1.00

Shipping £3.05

Processing£0.00

Tax £0.00

Total£4.05

I gave my debit card details to them and received a confirmation mail with all sorts of additions about cancellations etc. My card was debited four payments totaling £13.70

This was followed by a separate mail from a company called Circle of Youth with an identical offer and price structure. I e.mailed Circle of Youth customer service address on Sept 12 , indicating this was a con and had informed them my bank had told me to cancel all card payments to them. I did not receive a reply. When trying to connect with the link on their e.mail there was no response. I managed to contact Sedona Beauty Secrets through their link and cancelled my trial, by which time a 4oz box arrived and I received a mail from Sedona accepting my cancellation but requesting the package be returned or I would be charged the full regular price of the order.

Today I have received a cannot deliver card from my post office stating a parcel cannot be delivered because no customs has been paid and to receive it I would have to pay £11.02 I can only assume this parcel is from Circle of Youth

I would like to report this company of using fraudulant methods of business and to receive an apology for their conduct
