totally on there part not trueWhen I spoke to the manager, about this all get was said was that the service contract was signed and it was nothing they could do because their services wss rendered in finding a dispatcher I explained to the manager that it was a mistake in double booking as here company who called me who I thought was the same broker who I was talking to from the startYes her company called and asked if I was still moving my vehicle to Ny and I said yes and gave them the pertinent informationI signed the service agreement thinking it was the one signed earlier and didn't even bother to read it as I thought it was the same one I had signed with the other companyThe service agreement I signed said $was supposed to be used for the deposit and that was what I signed the service forNow when the driver called me to pick up the vehicle I told him that it was already picked up already and there seems to be some confusionHe said no never mind save me time to pick up the vehicle as he was down in San Diego and didn't waster his time driving upThe next morning on the *** or *** not sure I got a call from road runner saying that I was booked and I canceled on them when the order was dispatched, I explained to the lady that I was confused and didn't understand why two drivers where assigned, she told me that the service contract was signed and no refund could be given and the would not be refundedNow when the order was booked I signed the deposit for dollarsThe order was booked on the *** of March and a carrier assigned on the *** of March immediately after bookingTheir cancellation policy said you can cancel anytime as long as carrier is not assignedHowever, they assigned the carrier wishing 24hrs making it impossible to cancel or get your money backI was notified by an automated email that the car was assigned a carrier on the *** of March and that a deposit of $would be taken outNow remember the contact that I had signed said $, but the automated email said $which was never in the contract I called the carrier that was assigned the pick up and they said they never got the $for that vehicleIn other words the manager explained to me that the money went to the dispatcher because they rendered service for finding the carrierI don't agree with this because I don't see that as an honest service because all they had to do was call around and find a carrier and that carrier didn't even pick up the load or wasted his time I called and explained to the managers and they seems to not have an heart in knowing this was and honest mistake and that it was not done deliberatelyNot only that but I was told by road runner they carrier would pick up the car between and 9pm, I took off work awaiting the driver to call me and no call was givenI wasted my time and lost money taking off workI called them back the next day and they said the driver must have been delayedI told them I took off and lost money from work and seems like it didn't really matterI believe no service was rendered and the contract and what I signed and what they charged was two different pricesI need to get a refund back

 I have already contacted [redacted], and as the inspection report proves, the damage was done on Roadrunner's end.  ONCE AGAIN, the damage was done when vehicle was on the first leg of the trip, and the inspection reports prove this.  My contract was with Roadrunner/PR Car Transport- NOT with [redacted].

I was shipping my automobile cross country. I went on the internet and found Roadrunner Auto transport and requested a free quote. The quote was $941.00. When I filled out the booking information, they immediately requested my credit card information even though their advertising page says "No money up front". It stated a deposit of $160.00 was required. The next day a Melissa called and said that the price was now $1145.00. Feeling trapped I agreed, then they proceeded to take $245.00 from my account without my permission. After calling them back and arguing with Melissa, they lowered the fee $50.00 and returned that to my account. Their website advertises that using the booking number you can track the progress of your shipment. My booking showed only showed that I booked the trip and a carrier had been assigned. Even after it was delivered, no update was provided. The problem continues. The vehicle was to be delivered on July **. Late in the day, no vehicle had been delivered so I called Roadrunner. I was informed a dispatcher would contact me. No one did. I had to call Monday in order to talk to a human. When I talked to Roadrunner they still had not done any investigation. They called me back approximately an hour later and said that the truck broke down for 5 days. Now three days late, this was my first notification of a late vehicle. I was informed it would be delivered on Wednesday the [redacted]. It was not. Then after I called again they gave me the number of their sub-contractor. They said delivery Thursday. Then they said delivery Friday. The car was eventually delivered on Sunday night at approximately 9:00 pm. They say they are not responsible for their sub-contractor but my contract was with them, not the sub-contractor. I had selected Roadrunner because the Revdex.com gave them an A+ rating. Please downgrade that Rating. Thank you.

Firstly, I received a number of quotes to ship my son's Jeep from Washington to Louisiana with most of them being around the $1,000 mark, while RoadRunner quoted $1,334 under contract #[redacted]. I decided to pay the extra money to ship with via RoadRunner as I was led to believe that their service would be both superior and reliable knowing that I needed the vehicle to depart in two to four days. Kyle promised me that this would not be an issue and that I would hear back from dispatch relatively immediately with transport likely within 48 hours. Naturally, a deposit was provided.
In making a long story short, calls to Kyle over the next seven days went unanswered with others from RoadRunner calling me back eventually with more lies and promises of shipping the following day. Calls to the manager also went unreturned and after ten days had passed, as well as a missed flight to see my son off to university frustration was certainly settling in. At this point in the game, I was out $600 in airfare and more importantly was unable to take my son to university awaiting to drop his vehicle with continuous promises of tomorrows.
RoadRunner knew from the outset of my timetable and the fact that I was to be on a flight on August **, 2016. Somehow it appears that on both occasions that they booked a driver that there was a breakdown necessitating canceling my outbound transport?!? Finally, when I called dispatch for the eleventh time on August **, 2016, I was informed that I could either pay them $1,550 now to ship the vehicle or they would be happy to cancel my contract and waive the non-refundable fee. In translation, another $216 surcharge after 11 days of false promises or the threat of contractual termination. In desperation, I accepted their terms with a confirmed transport for August **, 2016 with drop-off on September *, 2016. The vehicle was in fact delivered on September **, 2016.
ROADRUNNER is simply the WORST company to do business with complemented by a dedicated office of deceitful compliant liars expert in the old bait and switch. Heed my words: "Stay far, far away from RoadRunner Auto Transport. No one else could be worse or more deceitful!?!

Order notes state that this customer refused pickup of his vehicle - refunds are not granted after a carrier is assigned and dispatched for pickup. This is in the Terms of Service which are signed by the customer. Thank You

I have not been contacted by customer service. I contacted the company to get an update on my delivery date as I was quoted to be by end of day today (04/**/2016). I was told that the RoadRunner cannot meet the quoted date and the delivery will actually be 04/**/2016. They also claim that they have tried to contact me multiple times yet I have no voicemails or return emails. I have provided two separate emails and they do have my correct phone number as they have left me a message previously. The treatment I receive by this company is unbelievable. Since filing this complaint, they are rude, short and unhelpful. I asked to have the emails resent along with the voicemails as it would be helpful to resolve this claim, and they replied with "[redacted]"  They do not seem to care about the delivery itself, nor the promises made by the sales representative. I have received 2 total updates since the order was placed on 04/**/2016, both of which, I have had to make multiple calls and emails of complaint to get. I am seeking partial credit of $500, and a completed acceptable delivery to resolve this complaint.

The company contacted me two weeks ago, by email, about the complaint. I replied by email and I have been waiting for their response. I received a phone message from their office yesterday, and I will return their call.

I reject this response due to the fact there was a delay according to the details of the contract.  The driver they contracted to deliver our vehicle ignored their CONTRACT to deliver to the home on the CONTRACT be paid for.  The desired delivery address and person was designated in the CONTRACT.  He also called us stating he had our car, which showed no delays and we told him to deliver to the address and person in the CONTRACT.  And due to his unwillingness to follow this CONTRACT the company speaks of, and what we told him to do, they failed to honor the CONTRACT which cause my family to have to pay for hotels for a weekend and rental car.  So if they want to quote tier CONTRACT, then they failed to do what we requested and paid for.

I contacted them on December ** and explained that before I would commit to anyone, I needed to be absolutely positive that they would be there to pick up my vehicle no later than Friday, December ** as the trip was only going to last 2 weeks and the transport would take 7-10 days. They assured me that would not be a problem as there were plenty of open spots so it would "for sure" be Friday if not earlier. I called Friday morning to follow up and find out what time the truck was coming. They said since they were closed half a day on Wednesday and all day Thursday, they had not gotten us a spot on a truck yet. I understand closing for the holiday but why he promised without a doubt there was a spot for me and it would get done and then didn't follow through on that commitment is wrong. They should not have promised until that car was plugged in on a truck with an assigned driver. I am very disappointed. This is not how you do business. We still have 2 cars to ship but we will never use Road Runner. I am so tired of people that don't assume responsibility.

I apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced due to the delay in shipment and I am here to assist in anyway I can. I have attached a copy of the terms of service you agreed to on 7/*/2016 and I have highlighted the areas of importance that relate to...

your situation. Please see our highlighted areas that do state all dates and times for both pickup and delivery are estimated, there are absolutely no grantees regarding pick up or delivery times and dates. Delays may occur that are out of our control such as mechanical problems and weather. Unfortunately both circumstances occurred during your shipment. Our carrier experienced a breakdown and this caused the primary delay. On the date of your delivery he was unable to make it by noon as you requested because of severe rain storms. I apologize for these circumstances that occurred however they were beyond our control. I have a log of calls between you and my customer service department staying in contact throughout this transit. We do not normally provide refunds for situations like this because it is clear in our contract that nothing is guaranteed for transit times and unforeseen things can happen however since this delay was extensive in nature we did offer the $50 refund for the inconvenience you had experienced. The car did arrive on 8/** regardless of the severe rain storms and was in the same condition we had received it in. Delays in this business are rare however they do happen and we are deeply sorry that this happened to you and offered the $50 discount to help show our appreciation to you as a customer and our apologies for the unforeseen delay.   
We have had you scheduled for a call back by our customer service manager for 8/** and 8/** however you were unavailable. She did leave you a voicemail and will try you again at some point today.
