Review: I chose this company because they were advertised as "VETERAN OWNED". I was shipping my car to my sister and was promised pickup on October **. I explained to the booking agent that I was being transferred to Hawaii and I needed my car shipped to my sister in Virginia. Because my sister is being deployed, the arrival date was extremely important and I stressed this point to the booking agent who assured me that the arrival date would be October ** or earlier. The driver called on October ** (scheduled pickup date) to tell me his truck was in the shop and there was going to be a one day delay. I let that go because I understand things happen. He called again October ** to say his truck was still in the shop. I asked if another driver was available since my flight was booked and I had no extra money to purchase another one. He said no so I called customer service and was told that was not possible. Thank God I had a friend to leave the car with but the driver did not show up until October **. The car was promised to arrive to my sister by October ** as she is deploying and has to get all of her paperwork taken care of. Today is October ** and when she called to ask the driver where to meet him (because although the website states door-to-door delivery he claimed he was unable to fulfill that part of the agreement), he told her that he would not be there until tomorrow and then hung up on her. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Learn from my mistake and go with another company. They claim to have vehicle tracking and the company was even unaware that the driver was 3 days late in picking up the vehicle. I even have text messages from the driver stating that the car would be there today as promised even though his truck was in the shop. I encourage everyone reading this to look into alternative options before booking with this company. RoadRunner contracted my vehicle move to someone called Arizona Auto Shippers anyway so you might as well pick a company that can vouch for their own drivers. After calling RoadRunner to explain my situation, I was told "At least the driver picked up the car so it will get there in due time." Terrible customer service!Desired Settlement: Modification/discontinuance of an advertised claim

Although my sister did eventually receive the vehicle, it was still not door-to-door service as indicated on their website. They also charged full price even though they were late on delivery. Thank you for delivering the vehicle, but please take false information off of your website. It was a great inconvenience to not be informed of this ahead of time and it would have been nice if I did not have to go this route to have simple questions answered in regard to my personal property. Please take into consideration that you are dealing with human beings and that you would not like it if you were in your consumer's shoes and this were happening to you.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

1998 Mustang, #[redacted]

Picked up August *, transferred August * in LA, delivered to Harbor in Hawaii August **, 2013

See attached Bills of lading (1) New York, (2), LA,CA, (3) Harbor in Hawaii

The transport company says they are not at fault. They say the car was delivered as they received it, that clearly the mustang and the damage to the hood was there when they picked up. I am very angry right now. This is wrong I spent a HUGE amount of money on a car that was in pristine condition. Well it is except for the mustang emblem and the damage to the hood by someone pulling it off. They tell me because the bill of lading does not clearly show a missing emblem, no emblem was on the car. The pictures I sent, are not pictures of the car picked up from the dealer, nor pictures at the harbor. I am at a loss for words.

The mustang emblem is a part of the car, I am not surprised that no one marked it as there, it is assumed it is. I am also not surprised that someone didn't mark that it was gone, no one was looking for that. The guys checking out the car are looking for dings, scratches, obvious damage. No damage to the hood was noted when picked up but was marked when delivered, but their system isn't consistent, and leaves room for doubt. The only way their system would be foolproof is for pictures to be taken of the vehicle on all four sides when dropped off and when picked up. But then the liability would be clear, and they don't want that.

The fact remains, that it is gone, and the hood was scratch to where the fiberglass is exposed...obviously moved with force. I put my trust in the dealer for a car in pristine condition and in the transport company to deliver it. This is very disappointing.

I believe that the emblem was there when picked up for shipment, as clearly shows in the pictures, it wouldn't make sense that you would sell a car "pristine" to keep a trophy and damage it. I believe that it was picked up and delivered to LA as the bill of lading clearly shows in LA (2), no damage to the car, and clearly not to the hood. I believe that either in transport or delivery to the harbor here, that someone, a very stupid person, thought "oh wouldn't this be cool, I will take the emblem....and get away with it because this is what we do"...counting on the fact that as people do, we look for damage on the car, we don't expect that someone will remove a piece of the car. I saw the scratch on the hood, but where the car was parked did not bend down to look at the grill. The bill of lading clearly showed the scratch on the hood, but not having had the bill of lading from when the car was shipped did not know if this was damage done in transit. However once I drove out of the gates and pulled over to park, (in a park just at the harbor where we stopped to eat before driving home), I saw the mustang gone. Once home I contacted the dealer and was informed that the mustang was there.

So here we are...someone needs to get their big boy panties on and take responsibility. They contract out to [redacted] who shipped it here from LA to the harbor. They pay them to do their job. Their employees took a trophie from my car and damaged it. They need to fix it. I paid Hawaii Car Transport $2,475.00 (The rate is your total price and includes all taxes, fees AND FULL INSURANCE). PART OF THE FEES I PAID TO Hawaii Car Transport (a division of V2 Logistics, Corp) INCLUDED INSURANCE TO PROTECT MY CAR WHILE IN THEIR CARE....THEY NEED TO FILE A CLAIM AND GET IT FIXED!!!!!

###-###-####Desired Settlement: I want the damage done to the hood repaired along with the mustang replaced.
