I have reviewed the sales and service records for the complaint [redacted] *** purchased a [redacted] on July 3, The last service record for [redacted] is from September 16-19, at which time A Better Way replaced tires as an offer of goodwillSince *** [redacted] purchase was financed, ABW was required to register the vehicle and perfect the lien with the state of New YorkThe registration was completed on July 11, [redacted] had days after that date to bring the vehicle for a New York safety inspectionIn order for a permanent registration sticker to be issued the vehicle needs to pass the safety inspection, Mr [redacted] received his registration stickerThe original sales price of the vehicle was $10,and the mileage was 115,The NADA value of the vehicle at the time of sale was $16,325.00, which includes a deduction for the vehicle having higher mileage

I completely understand your frustrations, however it has nothing to do with advertisement or non refundable depositsYour transaction was finalized and completeThe only obstacle that prevented you from driving off the lot that night was your delinquent property taxesWe understand that this is a major inconvenience to our customers but it is a rule that all dealerships must followAll you needed to do was pay your back property tax and we would have been able to register your vehicle that dayWe have other customers that have owed back taxes, paid them and then picked up their vehicleIt is hard to justify cancelling a transaction after agreeing to the terms and signing all documentsIt was your choice not to pay the taxes and not pick up the vehicle

We are willing to reimburse $for the heater core as initially claimedThe vehicle was purchased on January 25, and the first time that we have heard from [redacted] is when she filed her complaint on March 14, Unfortunately we are unable to reimburse the additional items that [redacted] is requesting

Third Visit what else can I say other than ANOTHER GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Antonio was our Salesperson who helped us with our purchase he was knowledgeable and provided us with his expertise to get the best car he made sure everything was done perfectly and that our time there was quick John in Finance handled our paperwork, took care of everything and again got the best rate for us No complaints Cam also assisted in making our third visit enjoyable and positive left with a [redacted]  !!! A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE well worth it heading back with a friend in a few weeks

While we understand your frustration and concerns with the vehicle, we have addressed the items that [redacted] asked us toIf you or [redacted] had issues with the items repaired then the vehicle would need to be brought back to usThis was clear with [redacted] and the service department when she picked up the vehicleAs for the battery it was a good will gestureThe battery was in good and operating condition when it left hereSo between the point of delivery and the time that [redacted] had the vehicle many things could have happened such as the door be left open or the lights left onWe did not hear about any issues with the vehicle until a little over a month laterWe made every attempt to help [redacted] out with the repairs on the vehicleIt would be unreasonable to expect us to make all of the repairs on a good will basis for an vehicleInstead we replaced the battery for free and gave a discounted quote for the work that your [redacted] dealership originally quoted $forWhich they included items such as replacing an after-market radio and oil change that are clearly not safety relatedI am not sure what $fee you are referring to “to get it to a safe driving condition”There is no fee charged to the customer for repairs done on the vehicle to make it safeEach dealership in Connecticut is held to very high and strict standards for selling carsThere are many verification processes in place to ensure that we live up to their expectations, which is another reason why the DMV closed the case with no further action to be takenThey also referred to the condition that follows the CT Used Car Warranty that the DMV has implemented

The process of buying my vehicle with Henry was amazing he was great at communicating the process and getting me the car I wantedHe was very friendly and accommodating with me being out of state I would definitely buy from A Better Way Wholesale Auto again!!!!

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am fully aware that this vehicle is a with over 100, miles at the time of purchaseHowever, when purchasing this vehicle it was stated that this vehicle was in great condition and was reliableThere was no discussion of significant wear and tear, if so this vehicle should have been sold as is, if the issues presented were and unfixableInstead, I was assured that this vehicle was in great condition which is advertisingIn addition, prior to taking this vehicle off the lot there was a delay due to mechanical work being done which allowed me to believe that any and all issues were being resolvedAll issues were not resolved then or on the multiple occasions the car was in their possession for repair for weeks at a timeDuring my last attempt with this business the manager was away for a week and I received the run around for that time as if I was been avoidedI have been told that the manager has driven my car to his home to check for noises/issues however the odometer reading on the documentation never indicates a changeThe business has indicated in their response that the warranty does not cover issues besides a complete failure of a partThis was not clearly explained or detailed in the warranty I was provided withTo my understanding the warranty that came with the vehicle as well as the extended warranty would cover all issues 100% that may arise with the vehicleTherefore I am not satisfied with this response or the fact that I have purchased a warranty that offers no assistance for all the issues presented regardless if they are due to wear and tearThese issues were present and reported immediately upon purchase which means if the vehicle was properly inspected by the business and the business was conducting honest sales, these issues would have been fixed and/or discussed before purchaseTherefore I would have been knowledgeable and could have purchased a different car or willingly got this car "as is"Instead I was given promises of a good vehicle which was not trueI do not want a refund of the warranty, I am still requesting that my vehicle be repaired 100% at the expense of the business at a different business Sincerely, Damion Williams

I have reviewed the complaint and the sales file for [redacted] The vin etch is % optional and was signed off and acknowledged by [redacted] at the time of original deposit and again during deliveryIf [redacted] does not think that is sufficient consent then the $will be refunded to himThe State of Connecticut changed the dealer conveyance fee from a non-negotiable item to negotiable in In order to provide fairness to all our customers we do not negotiate this fee, the fee can be lowered if the customer pays cash and elects to process their own registration [redacted] elected for ABW to perform the registration

I have reviewed the sales and service records for the complaint filed by [redacted] TJ and the service department explained to [redacted] on numerous occasions that all dealer warranty work needed to be performed by A Better Way [redacted] wanted his buddy to look at the vehicle and to see what he thoughtTJ explained to [redacted] that was fine but if he wanted repairs covered we needed to do themAfter going back and forth a few times, TJ thought he was clear and everyone was on the same pageTJ and [redacted] agreed that if [redacted] was going to return then the tires would be given to him then, If not we would mail them to him

I purchased cars from this dealership and the last one was sold by liesPurchased the car in January, after test-driving twoOnce decided, I asked the sales person a bunch of questions, including a [redacted] She went inside and printed a [redacted] which had shown that this car had a clean bill, never involved in an accidentToday, I went to the [redacted] to check on recalls and had a minor adjustment made to the hoodThe rep at [redacted] gave me a [redacted] report which shows that this car was involved in an accidentSo, I don't know how a [redacted] from two different dealerships can be different but I take it as the printout from A Better Way Wholesale Autos was incomplete and the sales rep omitted some important information in order to make the saleThis can very well be construed as fraudSo, I will never buy another car at this dealership and I will be looking at bringing this fraudulent behavior as high as possible so that nobody else will be lied to for these people to steal other people's money

Recently bought a new SUV from A Better Way Wholesale Autos The experience from beginning to end was extremely positive The SUV was accurately depicted on their website, and, in fact, when I went to see it in person, it surpassed expectations The staff was excellent from the salesperson to the finance person to the individual who assisted me in completing the required paperwork I would highly recommend A Better Way Wholesale Autos to anyone looking for a vehicle

Purchased an [redacted] Aand have had nothing but problemsI live hours from this dealer and had my car towed back to them for repairs and was told by Scott that they would have it brought back to meWhen the car was down they told me they never said that and had to pick up car my selfGot the car back and was still doing the same thing called dealer and Spoke to mike the general Manager and was told to bring car back to my own shop and that the dealership would pay for repairsAfter a week my shop determined that the turbo is bad so I call mike and let him no abound he said he will not payHe also said he never said he will cover the coast so once again I am the lyer and they will not help me the way they said they woodDO NOT BYE FROM HEAR

I have reviewed the complaint filed by Mr [redacted] After review of the file and speaking with Mr [redacted] 's sales representative it is clear that documents needed to complete the transaction where missingAs a licensed dealer we have many rules and regulations when selling a vehicle to a private party whether an individual or businessFaxing paperwork over does not always mean that it comes out on the other endAfter numerous phone conversations with Mr [redacted] , the salesperson made it clear that we did not receive themMr [redacted] put a $deposit on the vehicle on July 16th via credit cardThe $was refunded to him on July 22nd

Most Recent MessageDate Sent: 3/28/4:16:PMI have reviewed the complaint filed by [redacted] I have also reviewed the sales transaction and video footage from the date of purchase, March 16, [redacted] came to our dealership on March 16, to complete his vehicle purchaseEach of our customers are brought into the finance department in the order they arrive and upon receipt of all necessary documents to complete the transaction [redacted] arrived at our dealership about 7:30pmAt this time Thery, our sales representative went to pick up [redacted] ’s vehicle so they could finalize the sales transaction.Once Thery and [redacted] agreed that all terms and conditions of the vehicle where meet, Thery then entered [redacted] ’s transaction into the finance department [redacted] and Thery entered the finance department at 8:51pmAt this time there were still other customers after him.Thery introduced [redacted] and his companion to our finance manager, SharonSharon started to go over all the paperwork with [redacted] at which time he became very agitated [redacted] became more and more agitated with each form that Sharon presented him for signature [redacted] then began to ask for signatures and separate written statements outside of the transactionABW is not allowed to alter the terms of contracts/purchase orders/odometers/K208s enforced by different governing agencies of the StateAt one point Sharon requested Thery come back to the finance department to explain to [redacted] that we could not comply with his requestsThery explained to [redacted] that if he was not happy with the transaction we would be more than happy to refund his moneyAt this time it was [redacted] who became intimidating and hostile [redacted] got out of his seat and started pointing and yelling at Thery At that point Thery stated the transaction was going to be cancelled since [redacted] was not going to be happy with any way we tried to complete the transaction [redacted] ’s companion that was with him tried to call him down at that time [redacted] refused to cancel the transaction and insisted he wanted to finish the paperwork and take ownership of the vehicle [redacted] refused to sit back down and continued signing his documents, while asking Sharon “What are you scared of”.At no time were [redacted] or his companion intimidated, coerced, threated, or forced by any means to purchase the vehicle or sign anythingWe had offered a refund of deposit and to cancel the transaction multiple time There was never a time that any person blocked a door or exit or prevented [redacted] from leaving the dealership.Due to the horrible misrepresentation given by [redacted] of the transaction that we again request that the entire transaction be cancelled and [redacted] return the vehicle for a full refund of all monies paid by him to A Better Way WholesaleVideo footage for this transaction will be kept on file.Please have [redacted] contact Jennifer in the office if he wishes to return the vehicle

This place is a complete rip offI put $down so the vehichle would be pulled from inventoryI pointed out the issues such as tires brakes rotors and front and rear door handle that need to be addressedI was told that those isses HAD to be fixed before they could even release the car to meSo I left thinking that when the call came to pick it up all would be fineWell I finally got the call and arranged to take the hour drive from JerseyLow and behold soon as the pull the car up the guy tells me that the door handle has to be fixed and that it'll be done by time I finish my paperworkPaperwork done and I go to inspect what is now my vehichleBRAKES WERE NOT DONEROTORS WERE NOT DONETIRES WERE NOT DONEIt's 10pm I've had a long day and my wife has to follow me home, so I get in and head homeSoon as I get on open road I finally get to open it up and I learn that my wheel assembly may be going, the switch that controls the locks doesn't fully work, and the next morning I see that one of the day time running lights is outI was steamingI finally call and talk to sales manager Cam and he assures me that they'll take care of the issuseMind you he also says his guys are not mechaniclly inclined which sent up a red flag for me so I told him i'd do the work myself if they bought the partsWell I just went there yesterday and nothing has changedCam was no helpHe pretty much told me he could care lessThey said tires were at the states requiered rateSaid nothing was wrong with wheel assemblySaid they would replace brakes which they didn't doShaved the rotors which didn't do muchTold me to come back to have all the switches looked at by some guy whose never thereI will be filing a complete complaint with Revdex.com and whomever else that I need toI have kids who need to ride in a safe vehichleI don't have the time or money to be driving back and forth nor do I have the money to be getting ripped offBy the way Ron who is my sales guy tried to his best to make things work but he only can do but so much

I purchased a car from a Better Way I contacted a better way auto within my days spoke to a “manager” by the name of Tj about my Catalytic converter being bad he said he would call me back within a hour I waited patiently for a phone call back from Tj never called I called a week later he said they are very busy haven’t had a chance discussing it with service manger Kam so Tj told me he would give me a call in minutes never did now I give another week now he has winged me off with telling me he would call back and doesn’ [redacted] now pass my days so when I call him he tells me he can’t replace it I have to pay argued me down telling me I have to pay for it which is $but he’ll be reasonable and charge me 200+ tax I was not suppose to pay for it to get fixed he was suppose to replace it within my days the car can’t even pass emissions with a bad Catalytic converterManager Tj is really rude to speak with to just to resolve this matter
