Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: You are correct, it was purchased as is The point being: If you are selling a car, in operational, safe, conditionsthe compliant and reasonable thing to do is not to take your customers for granted and sell an "as is" car which was still in need of much repairs When a customer goes to your facility to purchase a used car, as is or not, you dont expect to have so many problems within a few days of taking it home You mentioned in your response, replacement of a battery which you would think would have been replaced prior to your company selling it to the customer Because of the constant problems the car was giving her and the concerns for her and her sons safety, she had to take the car to a [redacted] dealership in [redacted] to properly fix the problem (after your dealership claims to have fixed it and we paid $800+), yet having to pay an additional fee of $550+ to get it to a "safe" driving conditionShe has had no problems with the vehicle since taking it to the [redacted] dealership Thank goodness for dealerships that actually provide good services to their customers! - The [redacted] dealership in [redacted] that is! This entire experience has been unsatisfactory to say the least We will NEVER return to purchase a car nor will we provide good feedback to customers about your services Our next move here will be to take you to small claims court to see if we can replenish any of the out of pocket funds we have had to dish out to fix this mess One would think a dealership would be required to maintain a level of compliance and consideration for the safety of the customers/the consumer and not scam their customers into purchasing a nightmare that they clearly knew was not in a sell-able condition Sincerely, Marilyn Martinez

I have reviewed the complaint filed by [redacted] and I have reviewed the information from the transactionA Better Way offered to replace the tail light on the vehicle and the part was shipped on [redacted] **A Better Way made this offer in a gesture of good will as most places do not honor damage done in parking lotsSince the vehicle was at the dealership for a few weeks, we made the offer to replace the important components

Miriam R [redacted] was a great salesperson!A Better Way Wholesale has HORRIBLE customer service I would really give them zero starsDon't believe what they write on the internet ads! make sure everything works before you leave the storeI was treated rudely,given the run around when calling,I was hung up on, disrespected, and above all treated extremely unprofessionalI would never buy a car from here again.All I wanted was my back up camera to be fixed before I bought the vehicle was promised to fix itI had minimal picture after it was fixed when they only claimed it was dirty and now will not serve my camera when it hasn't worked since the test driveI contacted the manager to ask why this was he told he that I could pay for it if not he had to go and hung up on me but MIRIAM WAS AN AMAZING SALES REP THOUGH

I would not recommend Better Way Auto to my other consumers ESPECIALLY IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN CONNECTICUT They do have the best prices on cars because as they told me, they have two people that do nothing except search the web for prices and discount their cars to dollars less than everyone else, and it works because there was a huge line out the door with people wanting to meet with a sales person I've never seen so many people waiting to talk to sales peopleAs to the sales people, they are quite shady They will schmooze with you and act like your best buddies and even give you their personal cell phone number, however, once the deal is done they appear to block you completely because you can never get in touch with them especially if something went wrong, as it did in my caseThe reason I'm writing this review is to warn other out of state consumers that they need to avoid this company The reason being is that they will claim that anyone out of state they will have to go to the registry and get your plates for you I'm sitting here writing this on day since I bought the car and literally about phone calls to this place where they assure me they sent me my plates, and to date I have not received my plates I have a beautiful and expensive lawn ornament with no Massachusetts plates on it They always assume me the plates were got and shipped, and they never arrive Then when you call they tell you that your plates were the front of the list and you'll get them in two days, and still, no platesAnother thing that the consumer needs to watch out for is their scheme to hit you with a very expensive warranty and gap insurance When I went upstairs to talk to Derek to sign my paperwork, he told me what my payment will be, and I was like, "why is it so high???" since I had calculated about dollars less per month than what they were telling me Come to find out they put a 36k mile warranty and gap insurance totaling another dollars into my loan You can tell them you decline, but understand that in Connecticut there is NO warranty if the car is over years old They have no law to protect you I bought the car without any warranty since it was years old, but my hobby is rebuilding cars so I figured i'd be okBut they assume people won't notice and pay for their warranty (which is only good at their facility) and this expensive gap insuranceSo buyer be ware In the future I'll look for another car elsewhere even if it costs more at least I can get my own plates and not have to deal with waiting a month and tens of phone calls to get to drive the car I bought

I have reviewed the file for the complaint filed by [redacted] ***A deposit was left on the vehicle on December 12, and the vehicle was made unavailable for other customers to purchase [redacted] were to return for delivery after they obtained their own financingThe next day Nora received a phone call from [redacted] stating that they were unable to obtain their own financingNora offered to have our finance department get them approved, which is why the social security number & dates of birth were neededDue to credit issues, our finance department was unable to get them approvedAt no time would a person's social security number or date of birth be needed for a refundSince we are unable to get the [redacted] approved for financing, a refund would be issuedHowever we have still not received the credit card information to process the refundWe need the credit card information from the card that the deposit was originally placed on ending in last ***They can call the office and speak with Dominique for processing

I have reviewed the complaint and the sales & service records for the complaint filed by [redacted] During the time of delivery all cars are cleaned have snow removed from them, prior to the customer viewing the vehicleIt is at this time that the customer/purchaser would need to inspect and check for any damage they were unware ofIf the damage was not noted by the customer on the day of delivery, it would be the customers responsibility for repairsSince the damage was not noted at that time and not until days after delivery it most likely happened while the customer owned it

Johnny provided us w great customer serviceHe made our experience a lot easier & simpler than we’d thought it’d beHe actually made us feel at ease when it came to my 1st time buying a carI was very uneasy & unsure when 1st arriving, however, Johnny’s genuine personality pushed me to believe I was making a good decision & I appreciate him so much for thatThe Manager was great as well, for the short period of time we got to engage with himWe couldn’t have had a better experienceWe’d definitely return to this place in the future

Worse dealer ever they sold a car with a bad transmission I took the car back after days...now still a month and I don't have the car ready!!!
