Our client was not enjoyable to work forWhich is fine, only out of clients are fun to work forThis is the one you don’t want Hindsight is 20/ I requested photos of damages and he refused to submit any photosI suggest there is no evidence to support damages What’s more, is that I offered to replace damaged items and he refused my offering I am happy to pay .60¢ per pound of damages in accordance with the bill of lading This household is difficult to satisfy and I will not make any further attempts to remedy their dissatisfaction I refuse his request for refundInstead I will pray for him [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:No I am not happy with this response at allI am just blown away actually, I don't even know what to say at this pointIt IS a standard upright pianoThe weight of pianos can vary though, which I should not know as a first time piano owner (I know now thanks to google) but he SHOULD know as a moving serviceWe decided to put the piano in our walk out basement because he made a BIG deal about how they would put it wherever we wanted in the home, and if we weren't happy with it they would put it somewhere elseWherever we want he said! If he was unwilling to move it down steps, again, it is his responsibility as a business owner to ask that question upfrontOf course I don't know anything about moving pianos - I am not a moving companyIt is his job to know his own business and set his own boundariesIf they arrived and the job was not what they expected there were better solutions to be had than damaging a lot of my property and then telling me to screw offAnd it is completely unacceptable for him to attempt to damage the reputation of my company in retaliationHe has never used my company, and clearly stated in his email that he was doing it for the purpose of blackmailing me into leaving him aloneHe even said "so now you have a business decision to make." I've used A Good Moving Company many times over several years The first time was May - Mom and dad had lived with me for some time A couple weeks earlier the doctor had called Hospice into my home for both my parents I was reeling from the reality that mom and dad were having their last weeks together That day in May I had just received a call that two hospital beds were in route from Denver The tech could set up the hospital beds only if the existing bed was removed from the room upon his arrival Company policy did not allow him to move furnitureWith absolutely no one I could call for help I put my head in my hands and said out loud, “I just need a good moving company.” Opening the phonebook I was amazed to see a moving company named “A Good Moving Company”! Coincidence? I think not “Grasshopper”Dialing the number I was painfully aware that it was unlikely any company could help me with less than an hour window [redacted] answered the phone with a huge smile Quickly explaining my situation I was braced for a kind voice to tell me it was simply impossible with such short notice Instead, he told me not to worry, help would be on the way – he would make a call and get right back to me I felt as though I had been rescued from disaster Within three minutes he called to tell me a crew would be there shortly I’m sure those guys came to help us instead of taking a break between jobs I am so very grateful They ended up moving two beds, one to the basement so it would be out of the way The fee amounted to the price of gas money – a generous tip was my pleasure My gratitude remains todayI have since used A Good Moving Company or times; and today I called them to help me again They have packed and moved my entire household twice over the last years and are happy to help me manage the heavy lifting through remodeling and other in-house effortsThese men and women are professional, polite, efficient and very hard working individualsAnd everyone was a joy to be around My recommendation could not be higher A Good Moving Company IS easy to findI always feel uplifted and well taken care of Integrity grows trust I trust this companyMany Thanks, ***, Fort Collins
