Review: We received a past due bill claiming we owe for 2 mos service or $99.90 for offsite backup we NEVER ordered. We are a small church and would have no need for this much storage space. Besides the expenditures would need to be approved by the Trustees of which I am a member and paid by the Treasurer (that's me too). I can tell you for a fact we never ordered anything from them. I called them to complain and had to leave a message. When I called back I got VM again and also got VM the next time I called back. Now I'm sure this is a scam. So I checked the yellow pages and D&B...guess what no listing!.Desired Settlement: I want this credited in full and a copy of the credit stating this was done in error and we ordered no such product. I also want our name permantly removed from their records and to never hear from them again

Complaint ID [redacted] /Mr [redacted]. ([redacted])

We

are responding to the above mentioned complaint forwarded to us by your

office. We take all complaints very seriously and we strive to be

proactive and fair to ensure issues are resolved equitably.

We

have investigated the above noted complaint and we have found that

service and billing was initiated on January 08, 2013. Our records

indicate that the service was offered to, and accepted by Ms [redacted] via a telephone marketing call. Ms [redacted] indicated that she

was over the age of 18 years and duly authorized to accept the terms of

service.

Ms

[redacted] and Mr [redacted] has been in telephone contact with our call center on 2 occasions where on the first occasion Ms [redacted] was

connected to an agent who assisted her and attempted to answer all

questions she had. On checking our systems, we can confirm that 1 voice-mail was left on February 25th

at 11.15am by Mr [redacted]. This telephone call was returned the same day

received our records indicate at 4.58pm. During this conversation it

was confirmed to Mr [redacted] that the account held in the name of

[redacted] was cancelled already in accordance with

his request. No confirmation could be sent out as Mr [redacted] declined

to provide a facsimile or email address in order to receive the same.

Based on the conversation with Mr [redacted] on February 25th and verbal confirmation provided that this has been cancelled outright we considered the matter resolved.

Thank

you for alerting us to this issue and allowing us the opportunity to

work with your office to rectify this consumer complaint.

Warm Regards

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me with one exception. At NO TIME did anyone tell me the account was cancelled. If this was the case I would not have called you. Futhermore Ms. [redacted] is in NOT authorized to purchase any additional services without the approval of the trustee board. With that said, I am accepting this since the end results are the same. This bill and our "account" have been cancelled.

Review: We received an initial bill back in Feb 2013 for $49.95 for a service we never signed up for. The receptionist who's name is on the paperwork called the company to find out what this bill was about. They stated that they have a recording of her voice and she can login to the site and listen to it. She tried to login but the login and password was not valid. We received another bill March 2013 for another $49.95 and the past due amount. I called and could not reach anyone for several days and there was no capability to leave any voice mails. When I finally reached someone, she said that she will send over a cancellation request. I filled it out that day and faxed it back to them. I just today received a fax from a collection agency for $539.46! I called the number and the man was very combative and hung up on me after I asked him to email me the recording of her voice authorizing the service. He told me he could talk to our attorney and I was not the person to talk to.Desired Settlement: I would like the charges that we supposedly incurred to be cleared and the collection agency to clear the charges as well.

A2Z offsite received faxed communication from Ms [redacted] on 16 April 2013. The contents were reviewed by Management, and a telephone call made to [redacted] to Ms [redacted] to review and discuss. It was communicated to Ms [redacted] at this time that the contract was cancelled outright and all invoices voided. Including the fact that this matter will be withdrawn from the Collection process. Based on this information we consider the matter resolved to the customers specific instructions.

Additionally, details for [redacted] have been placed on a internal (DNC) Do Not Call list and will receive no further communications or solicitations from our firm in future.

On January 3, 2013, A2Z Offsite sent one of our offices an invoice in the amount of $49.95 as payment for services that were neither requested, authorized or received. Per the instruction of A2Z Offsite, the office submitted a cancellation notice on 1/28/13. There have been repeated attempts to contact A2Z Offstie, however A2Z Offsite has repeatedly ignored the cancellation request and sends additional invoices. Our latest attempt at contact was 4/3/2012, and we have yet to receive a reply. The invoice was sent to their collection agency who now charges an additional $500.

It should be noted athat A2Z Offsite relies on a voice recording as proof that the services were requested; however the recording is not the voice of any of our employees.

It is apparent that A2Z Offsite sets up accounts to unsuspecting individuals and attempts to collect funds which have never been requested or earned in any manner.
