Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: Aaron told my husband the truck would be done by He did not call my husband until lrtrinf him know he has an hours work left in itThere was no way we could wake up our husband to pick the truck up at 11:at nightThen, even still be disnt call us until almost noon the next morning to let us know the work was complete
And here we are weeks later and the truck is STILL not finished and sitting in your shop AGAINBecause the issue was not fixed the first time$3,is to much money to be forking out and not having it run correctly
Lastly, the builder was not the issue with the time frameIt was your shop not pulling the transmission until the 3rd or 4th day the truck was in there. Sincerely,*** ***

Mr***’s vehicle transmission was originally repaired in October of 2017. It seems he was experiencing an issue and brought it back earlier this year. The transmission has been removed from the vehicle and is currently in process of being fixed under warranty. We are a very
busy shop and get vehicles turned as quickly as we can. Unfortunately some vehicles take longer depending on the issuesWe are very sorry for the delays and will get Mr***’s vehicle back to him as quickly as we can

Customer came to us with transmission parts in his handCustomer knew that the transmission had a mechanical failure prior to us working on itThe vehicle had multiple check engine light codes and the customer was informed that he may have an electrical problem that was to be diagnosed after the
transmission repairCustomer authorized transmission repairAfter trans repair was completed the vehicle was not shifting properlyWe removed the transmission and changed internal components allowing us to rule out and mechanical issues Conclusion: the vehicle has electrical and/or computer issuesThis was notated on the paperwork and the customer was told to go to the dealer or computer specialist to resolve Unfortunately the customer chose to have our transmission removed from of the vehicle and disassembledThis has voided any warranties we provided

time from our buildersWe fully expected the parts back in days, unfortunately the builder became unable to meet that time table. Our team did the best they could to work overtime and not charge you for that laborFinally my understanding is that Aaron spoke with your husband and let him know that they were staying to complete the vehicle and your husband told him that he couldn't get it until the next day anywayAaron called as soon as it was finished on that day.

As you can see in my attachments it clearly states customer authorized replacementI was told by Joe the then manager my transmission would be replaced with a month warrantyMy understanding is Joe no longer works for the company as "he couldn't cut it" as a managerMy family has been faithful AAMCO customers for years & it is a shame that they are not willing to stand by their own workYou would think their reputation & customer service their company was built on would mean something to this franchise, but it looks like they don't value their customers or have faith in their own work! If they choose to not remedy this they will lose more customers & I will see them in court. if you would like more pictures of the receipt please let me know!

I am rejecting this response because: The response is indicative of the lack of customer service.? I told the clerk at the counter all the information and that there were brake pads in the back seatThe Groupon wasn't for a brake inspection, it was for brake service.? It clearly stated that it included brake pads and turning of the rotorsThe rotors mic'd out as able to be turned (as inspected by another).? That wasn't an option even provided.? Brake inspections are free just about everywhere.? I do not accept this responseIt is clear that this company is only bringing in customers to over charge for servicesI understand that I will not get anywhere with this companyI will be sure and tell everyone I know of my poor experience

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:The fact that the judge ruled against me is because I could not prove what happened inside the transmissionThey won because I did not take that stepThey did acknowledge an unsatisfactory service, but could not rule to the extent of damaging the transmission due to lack of evidenceI have since had my transmission repaired and showed clear signs how the lack of fluid caused premature wear in the 3-band and disintegration of the clutch packsAAMCO service centers do not live up to the prestige that they claimI recommend finding a real transmission shop to have your vehicle servicedThis lesson I learned the hard way

on each return to aamco I insisted that the problem with the transmission existed, it was not until June that the same problem was acknowledged by the businessI was given an excuse each time and the other problems listed including exhaust and problem codes were none of their concern, they were not why I brought the truck in to themThe fee that was "waived" is irrelevant because it was warranty work that would have cost me nothing if they fixed the problem the first time I brought it inThe fact that the transmission problem existed in 2014, two months after the initial repair, but was not fixed until two years later is negligent on the part of the businessThey refused to provide warranty work for two yearsFurthermore, I had another yearly checkup in April of which was not documented in their systemFluids were checked at that time.? I understand ***'s frustration with her husband’s vehicle taking longer than expected to be fixed, and we are truly sorry for thatAs we mentioned before, our technician went above and beyond given our challenging situation to repair the vehicle as fast as he could and with no additional charge .Sometimes our technicians fully expect to be done by a specific time and then get caught up with something unexpectedI am sure he intended to be done on time and unfortunately got caught up and forgot to callWe sincerely apologize for the inconvenienceWith transmissions, when we fix an issue, often times another issue presents itselfIt’s frustrating for the client, but it cannot be helpedIt’s simply the nature of the business.? ? aamco transmission has had my van for over a week and there still is no time of completion on the job. They seem not to care about the customer whatsoever. I would not recommend this location to anyone very unhappy.
