Review: I continue to receive mailings to my address for an individual that does not live here. I have called and spoke with them and informed them and asked them to remove this person because they do not live here and I do not know who this person is. I have also returned the mailings return to sender but they continue to send the mailings. I am really getting fed up with this and want it to stop. The name of the individual that they are sending the mailings to is **. [redacted], **.Desired Settlement: Stop sending mail to my home for someone that does not live here when you have been informed numerous times.

May 29, 2015 I call AARP the Hartford Insurance Co.for a quote for homeowners insurance and was given $911. a year as the cost, but when I received the official policy in the mail on June 3, 2015 the cost was $1,281.00. I called the Hartford and the woman representative just about called me a liar and stated they never quote me $911.00 but $1,281.00 what was I was quoted, I told her that was not true but she was very short and curt with me stating $1,281.00 was the cost. I told her to cancel the policy and she hung up on me! Don't buy anything from the Hartford they are dis-honest regarding quotes and actual cost . . Also, the Hartford rep. stated before an actual policy is issued I would receive a letter to send to my original insurance company to formally cancel, I never received or authorized the change but the Hartford sent a bill to my mortgage holder and they made payment to them without me authorizing this !! Now I had too call the Hartford with my mortgage company on the line to stop payment that they would not do now they have to send me a check for the amount paid and I in turn have to bring that check to my mortgage company to make payment! I have to be inconvenienced because AARP the Hartford was dishonest from the start!

Review: On numerous occasions, I have asked AARP not to send me unsolicited email. I am constantly bombarded with advertising emails for various products. I have followed the unsubscribe links, and I have spoken to customer service several times, to no avail. I have spoken to customer service two weeks ago, and as recently as yesterday, but guess what? I got another email today.

Review: I have had this problem before with this service. It is related to their website log-in service. When you have forgotten your password there is a link that should send a re-assigned or temporary password to your registered email. I have attempted to employ that process with no message ever being sent to my email address to date. I have called and talked with a representative who stated that AARP was aware of the "situation" and was trying to correct it and to try to go through the process later. I attempted it once again 8 hours later. I then sent a message of general complaint to their Contact Us email address; [email protected] also with no response.

They advertise "Why Register with AARP.org? Receive our weekly Webletter, updates on local events, discount alerts and lots more. Enjoy two GB free storage to share photos and videos with friends and family. As a member, enjoy additional exclusive benefits and discounts." and have yet to make good on that claim.Desired Settlement: I should have been sent a reply at least within 8 hours of my last email to [email protected] of which I have not. I want a message sent in reply and also the message which has been "owed" to me for over the last 18 hours.

Review: I am in my thirties. I have contacted AARP on the three separate occasions to have myself removed from their contact list and the contact list of companies offering me unsolicited services through AARP. I have sent letters asking to be removed and I have contacted them twice now through their website. I continue to receive letters and solicitations from AARP and from companies associated with them and bearing their name. I would like this stop as I feel this is a form of harassment.Desired Settlement: To not ever again be contacted (in any form) or solicited by AARP or any company offering services to members or potential members of AARP.

Review: AARP continues to bill me for my membership even though I have submitted payment through December 2016. I have made numerous calls to AARP Customer Services with them promising that the issue has been addressed. I continue to receive bills for a $16 annual payment. This is at a minimum harassment and potentially illegal.Desired Settlement: I don't want excuses for this ongoing problem. Fix the problem. Stop sending me annual bills until my membership expires.

Dear [redacted]:

Review: Hi ...

About three weeks ago I made an online purchase through "AARP Rewards for good" of a product which had a gift as a bonus. "AARP Rewards for good" sent me to buy the product but I did not send the gift described in coming internet page, they sent me another gift presentation which was only a sample and not what came especificdo.

I've been talking with them since 10 days ago and told me it was wrong of them to make a product that was not the one who was supposed gift. They tell me they can not send me, the only thing is I can send only two more samples.

I have told them I do not want samples, I want what came announced which is a small bottle of 0.5 oz.

They say they can not send me that I can return the product and they would return my money. But if I want to order a product with the specified gift that came in the time I made the purchase, it's not my fault that they have been wrong and have put another product. They do not want to honor the purchase I made.

I recommend to do? Please I need your advice.

Thanks

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Wants the product ordered.

Review: After Revdex.com resolved a matter for me, months ago, you sent your business card w/note saying if you could be of assistance in the future, to let you know. I don't know if you can help me with this issue,

I have written to the AARP CEO canceling my membership and advising him of my poor opinion of their organization. This was more than a year ago. I continue to get emails from them and request every time that emails from AARP be blocked. I'm advised by my email provider that this cannot be accomplished because the address is changed by AARP many times.Desired Settlement: If at all possible, I would like to put a stop to any correspondence from AARP. I will appreciate anything Revdex.com can accomplish in that regard.

Review: My husband and I have received numerous mailings from AARP asking us to join and assigning us a number. I have written twice and even returned the cut-up cards to them, yet they continue to send me information and a pay slip for the cost of membership.

I called them today, December19th, and told them I was filing with Revdex.com. They then said they would remove our name from their list. I somewhat doubt that is true.Desired Settlement: I would like a letter from an actual person, not a form letter. Those have no traceability or impact. The letter should guarantee that we are off 'the list', and that they are sorry for continually sending mailings that we have expressly asked them not to.
