This email is in response to the complaint dated August 29, In the complaint Ms*** address our company due failure to provide service to the Bar Type GrillOn August 5, 2014, Ms*** contact our company informed us the latch on the Bar Type Grill was not latching
properlyI waived the diagnostics fee of $out of good faithUpon our technicians arrival he diagnosed that in deed Ms*** needed to replace the Bar Type GrillBecause this component is not a manufacturer part and it is out of the year labor warranty we quoted Ms*** to replace the Bar Type GrillAt that point Ms*** became very hostile threatening our technician so he left the jobsiteOn August 6, 2014, Ms*** contact our company because she not impressed by the price quoteI agreed to a discount price of $installed Mr*** declined request to speak with my SuperiorAt this point, out Director of Operations contacted Ms***The discussed the price and once again was offered the Bar Type Grill at Ms*** became very upset stating “I hope the filter grill hits one of your guys in the head”At this point once it becomes a verbal abuse and wishing bad upon us we requested to terminate all ties with Ms***We made several tempts to satisfy Ms*** with no avail and are requesting the Revdex.com to intervene to close this matter

ACE Home Service has received the complaint and is actively working to resolve this matter.  On June 15th I spoke the consumer regarding a pricing issue/dispute. She informed me her neighbor got a new unit installed at a much lower price than hers. However, after...

further discussion with the consumer we were able to indentify that the unit her neighbor purchased was the equivalent type of unit she had installed. The consumer agreed the pricing was different because of difference of the unit. In regards to the sheet metal I was not aware of this situation she contacted the Revdex.com prior calling our company. I contacted the consumer after receiving the complaint, she informed me she called a different company out to inspect her unit after our conversation. They informed her the sheet metal/stand installed was faulty and old but additional details we not given. However, ACE didn’t install a new stand we simply installed a twist transition. The consumer had an EXISTING stand and it’s on a FOAMED in roof- if we were to remove the stand from the FOAMED in roof- it would have caused damage to the roof. However, I did offer to the consumer a field supervisor go out and as the diagnosis from the other company. If it’s something we did or might failed to do correctly and was written on the proposal we will gladly rectify it. She agreed to schedule an appointment. However, she was very adamant about the pricing issue still. I told her we would review her concern and potentially address her pricing issue.Our main priority is resolved every issue to were both parties reach a mutual resolution. After carefull review we have determined the following.
Mr. V[redacted], called ACE Home Services under the impression we were the original company who repaired his unit in the past. When he called into our office we agreed to schedule one of our technicians out for a diagnostics. We originally quoted him a diagnostics fee of $79.95 which we waived for him upon our departure and a courtesy to him. Upon our technicians arrival he condemned the unit due to costly repairs and efficiency. We kindly explained that we are not the company he originally worked with and that we simply acquired the companies telephone number and customer database. However, I did explain we didn’t purchase the company as a whole nor their liabilities.
I tried contacting the consumer 2 times last time I called him he stated “I wouldn’t buy a bike from you people” and hung up. He hasn’t provided us with the opportunity to discuss this matter. I would appreciate the Revdex.com intervention and explain this matter to the consumer.

I'd like to compliment three of your employees who helped us purchase and installed the beautiful “Trane” AC/Heater product. They provided excellent service. Title as your “Comfort Adviser” is a well earned from title. from their representative who helped us sort out with information to options to which could apply and was very professional.

Your two instillation professionals provided another delightful appreciation. They helped direct respectfully the unexpected parking traffic from a Church Fair incurring directly across the street. They were Fantastic!

I have only written one other letter in my life of application this one is well deserved and the Revdex.com should know. This company staff showed outstanding professionalism and ability to get to take the situation quickly at hand and well exceeded my expectations.

II would referred to anyone with the highest standards.

It has come to me knowledge that air condition company's in Arizona are all very deceitful to the consumer. This business of buying another a/c company customer bass, phone numbers, address and work orders. When you call they answer the phone as if the company is still in business they say that company's  and they will come out to check it. When they came out to my house all they wanted to do was to sell me another unit. Ant then told me that this company is no longer in business. They just want your money I call a larger A/C  company and they re did everything that the first company did eleven months ago. They were still advertising thanksgiving deals when I called. Changing the name  Is a way that they use to void a warranty.  I am convinced that air conditioning company's  in Arizona are cheats and all they want is you money.  Revdex.com should look into this scam out here. I researched companies and manufactures to find Ace was top rated by Revdex.com and [redacted] was also one of the best units in the industry with the best reputation. They boasted about the 10 year parts, labor, and compressor warranty that also explained why their prices were higher than competitors. I purchased a new [redacted] through ACE on November [redacted], 2010.

I had my unit serviced 3 times over the past 5 years with 2 of them being performed by [redacted]. I had a problem with my ac not blowing cold air on 5/**/16. Ace came to my house, told me I had a bad capacitor, was going to cost me $350 just for the part, and my warranty was not valid because I did not have ACE service my unit every year since purchase. I saved all my records and asked him to show me in the warranty fine print where it stated I had to have ACE service my unit annually. He couldn’t. However, he said that was what he was told by the office. He felt bad and was not going to charge me for the service call. He also said he would like to cut me a deal but can’t because the office said to charge full price. I was told the capacitor most likely overheated and blew due to dirty coils. Additionally, he could not inspect the rest of the unit or clean anything and that I needed a separate appointment for that and would have to pay more for that as well. He tried to sell me a maintenance plan too. I called to verify with ACE and spoke to Becky the office manager and she confirmed the 10 year warranty was now null and void and they would not cover the cost. I argued with documents in hand and she said she would take it to her supervisors to see if they would cover the costs. In the mean time I need cold air so I paid the price and then researched the issue. I called Becky back 2 times with no answer or response still.

I had [redacted] come out 5/19/** and they inspected the unit and said it was in excellent condition. The coils did not need cleaning inside or out. The Freon was good and temp was in the excellent range. I called around and learned ACE technicians are “commission based” so they are like car salesmen coming to your house. Now I realize why the tech was telling me all his personal heartbreaking stories and how he was a 911 survivor. I was ripped off. I also learned the capacitor most likely only cost at most $50 to $100. This company has no ethics, no honor, and as a vet that served during the first gulf war, I’m disgusted by the lack of integrity and false representation of this company and the technician that came to my house.

I will be filing a formal complaint with Revdex.com, [redacted], and will pepper the internet with my warnings and caution if you ever use ACE as a service company. They did perform a beautiful job on the install, but did so with a hidden agenda to screw me over the next 10 years. I suspect from reading the other comments here on Revdex.com, [redacted], and [redacted] that I was not the only one that fell for their story.

Dear Mrs. W[redacted], this company Ace has caused my grandchildren & I lots of hardships sitting in this house sweating & sweating. As you know no one can live in AZ without an AC. Why did we have to ? Because this company did not do their job right & it would be to expensive to fix? Ace made the mess so they should fix it. There is no excuse for this. Why was I treated this way? I paid for my warranty. First of all, All the Times that I called this company to let them know there was something wrong with my AC. No one could find the problem so they totally ignored me. Then when they found the problem they never came back after that.  Never got at least a courtesy call letting me know anything. Even a letter anything. It took them this long for them to contact me or was it because, I reported them to  Revdex.com. They probably would have never contacted me if I hadn't of contacted Revdex.com. This is not a way to handle your clients or your business. When I worked our clients were number one. Satisfy our clients & get the job done correctly. No one had to call Revdex.com on us we had no complaints. Now if they want to come out & fix my AC?  How do I know it's going to done correctly??? Well sad to say I don't & I feel that I can't trust them to do the job after all this. Now their calling me twice a day they had a technician come out to my home unannounced banging on my door yelling hello is anybody home. I didn't answer the door. Like I asked in my letter to Revdex.com what I would want for Ace  to do is when they get done fixing my AC, for another AC company to come out & check my AC to make sure it's done right. The company of my choice & for Ace to pay for the service call & what ever else the other company would have to fix. I don't feel as if I can trust them to do it right. After all that I have gone through with this company. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. What about my SRP Bill that was $500.00 who is going to reimburse me on that I would like that reimbursed to me also. I know Harry or Harvey what ever his name is gave me this AC but all the headaches they have caused me it wasn't worth it. On top of that all there rude technicians telling me I could not pay my warranty in payments how would them make money. Then I call Ace they put me on hold the man on the phone in a little commercial for Ace says we would gladly put this on credit. The technician just got done telling me they did not do credit. Everything was just a nightmare. If I could get some money from Ace for the way I was treated I would love that & all the extra money they had me dish out. I couldn't even buy any groceries or clothes, shoes for my grandkids to go back to school. I'm sure they didn't lose no sleep over us!!! I am quite frustrated still.

This company is still selling, installing, and repairing hvac work according to their add. they still have business ads all over google with a ROC#[redacted] and the same phone number [redacted] Please see attached Thank you

In January 2011, my wife and I bought a 9-year old home in Mesa. Ace Home Services (formerly Ace Air Conditioning) called and talked us into having their maintenance tech clean and check out our AC. After cleaning and inspecting our AC, he told us both compressors needed replacement and both ACs were at the end of their service life. He said we needed to replace them immediately to avoid major problems! An Ace sales rep called two days later and convinced us under high pressure that we should sign a 10-year maintenance contract, which would cover the current inspection. He continued the high pressure to buy two new ACs.

Because of the replacement cost, we called for a second opinion. The second company said there were no problems with our ACs including the compressors.

I called the ACE Air office manager and complained about the high pressure to buy he service contract and to buy two new ACs. I also told her the results of the second opinion. I demanded cancellation of the maintenance contract and a refund of the unused monies. She agreed to both demands, and said Ace Air would cancel the contract and refund the unused funds. I called back in two weeks and again four weeks later and she said the same thing, but still no check. I filed a Revdex.com complaint, but heard nothing!

This morning, I received a robo call on my cell phone (which I understand is against the law) from Ace Home Services wanting to know if we needed AC service. The robo call ended by saying that if I did not want any more calls to provide my telephone number and state that I wanted no more calls. I followed the directions recording my cell number and requesting for no more robo calls.

At approximately 5 pm this evening, I received a call from a "live" Ace Home Services service center rep wanting to know if we needed AC service. I condensed the above and told him to never call again. I also told him I had left my number and requested no more calls, He said they don't monitored their voice mail very often!

My wife and I renew our request to ACE to refund the monies from our cancelled service contract as promised by the Ace Air office manager in 2011!
