Ace Home Services Reviews (203)

WE HAVE USED ACE HOME SERVICES FOR OUR AC AND HEATING SINCE MOVING TO SUN CITY FROM THE EAST COAST. WE SUBSCRIBED TO THEIR SERVICE CONTRACT FOR 3 YEARS AND ONCE THE TERM OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT EXPIRED, WE RENEWED IT FOR A LONGER 7 YEAR TERM. THE TECHNICIANS WHO HAVE SERVICED OUR UNIT HAVE ALL BEEN EXCELLENT. THEY ARE COURTEOUS, EFFICIENT, HELPFUL AND TAKE THE TIME TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS IN DETAIL. CUDOS TO [redacted], AND [redacted] WHO WAS OUR TECHNICIAN LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR. THANKS FOR HELPING TO KEEP US COOL IN THE SUMMER AND WARM IN THE WINTER -THOUGH WINTER IN AZ IS NOT REALLY WINTER BEING FROM THE NORTHEAST.

I had flooding in my laundry room due to leakage of freon from my air conditioner. [redacted] suggested calling ACE to check out my AC. [redacted] came immediately and gave a price quote on a new air conditioner. The following day they are here installing. I'm so happy with their service. This company is prompt, courteous, and thorough. I would recommend them to anyone!

[redacted] showed up early and checked and fixed all problems quickly.

Hello Friday June 7th 2013 I had a very experienced technician who came out to my home.I felt he took his time, he truly was very knowledgeable and very professional to answer all my questions, which I felt really secure. I really felt he did a thorough inspection on my ace unit. The fact he took his time and was patient with helping me understand different questions I had, made me think the service was a high quality service overall. Thanks Ace for helping me understand the importance of preparing for summer. I have that peace of mind now I know what my ace units status is. I will continue to go to the Ace experts for my airconditioning needs!

Review: Repair tech. came out to look at my system. He was ill tempered and hostile. He was out for a 29.95 check-up. told me the condenser needed cleaned before he to continue. Quote 199.00. I told him I had to think about it. I decided to have it done called him back to finish the work. He cleaned the condenser and I quote "as best as it is going to be done" I asked what that meant he said it is old, rusted, fins bent and need to be replaced. I ask him why he cleaned a unit that need replacement? he said it was done and I need to pay him. I paid and called his office that supported his rude behavior and didn't see a problem with his comment quote " I work for a living and you disabled people who sit on your butts need to get out and get a job" I told him I was disabled and could not afford a lot of repairs.Desired Settlement: He said he cleaned 80% well maybe refund me the 20% of the funds for not finishing the work. I would even say maybe come back and finish the 20% he could not do. He was hear and looking at the unit when he made the Quote.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

This complaint is against Ace Air Conditioning who refused to honor their warranty through a blizzard of lies and intimidation. Only after I called their bluff and exposed their lies did they stand behind their warranty. It is unlikely 99% of people could endure these delays and lies if they had only one air conditioner during summer and did not understand refrigeration. I recommend no one use their services.

Ace Air Conditioning installed a new Carrier 3.5 ton heat pump in my home 5/23/2009 and included a 10/10/10 year warranty. That warranty was immediately challenged since repairs were required to the ill-fitting ductwork and leaking refrigerant lines caused by poor brazing. The rework was completed to my satisfaction at the time.

A year later, 2010, another company installed a sister Carrier unit on the other side of the house. This sister unit stopped working within the 5 year factory warranty period. The second company found both a bad capacitor and leaking evaporator coils which they replaced for about $60 for added refrigerant. This was a pleasant and competent company.

I then bought an ACE $39.95 service call because I discovered that Carrier copper evaporators had a history of failing around 5 years. The ACE service person found a “weak” capacitor and low refrigerant pressure. He would not attempt any detection. And did no cleaning although he claimed he did.

Mistrusting ACE, I called my local company to analyze the system. They found the ”weak” capacitor was just fine but identified the evaporator leak causing the low refrigerant pressure using a detector instrument which is THE industry standard.

I then called ACE to do a warranty repair. They tried to charge me $400 to do just a leak detection claiming detectors no longer worked on the Puron refrigerant which is a lie. The service man insisted on doing a nitrogen test. I refused and asked them to match the other company’s price. Reluctantly, they did match the price and used the detector technique I insisted upon. The detector signaled a leak within 30 seconds confirming the other company’s analysis and putting the lie to ACE.

ACE then quoted a price of $1100 to do a WARRANTY repair job claiming I did not have proof of yearly cleaning and claiming the contract required it, which it is does not. That was the second lie. I refused and told them to have supervisor call.

Becky, an office person, called back and said my warranty was void, but she would give me a 10% discount. I refused and asked for a call from the highest manager. I insisted they at least match the price of the recent warranty repair by the other trusted company who charged me $44 for more work!

A man named Harold called saying he was the manager. He offered to do the job for the cost of added refrigerant, which would be $400. I asked why it was so high and he said that because the Puron was a mix of two refrigerants (true) and therefore leaked at different rates which destroyed the refrigerant integrity requiring a total change out. I emphatically disagreed and during the discussion he cited his 45 years of experience while I cited my engineering degree and long experience with air conditioning. I finally told him to prove his assertions with reference documents which he agreed to do. He also claimed total Puron change out was needed because water gets in the system (true) and corrosion material from the damaged evaporator coil gets in the system (another lie). I replied it was standard to use a dryer to remove moisture and that corrosion materials would not enter a pressured system. He promised to get back to me with the reference.

I sent a registered demand letter to ACE insisting they honor their warranty. Before it arrived at ACE Harold called me back saying I was right and they now did not need to change all of the Puron. He would send out a technician to do the warranty work free of charge.

Before the service man arrived Becky called me saying she received my letter and my demand for warranty repair is rejected because I voided my warranty, but they would match another company’s written estimate. Really? What company would honor another company’s warranty? I let her hang herself with claims, lies and intimidation until I asked her if she worked for Harold. She said yes so I then told her he had already agreed to do it free so I already had my “competitive bid”!

A service man performed the repair and tried to get me to sign an agreement requiring yearly service for any further warranty repairs. I preserved my rights by scribbling all over the contract saying I disagreed!

I will never do business with ACE again and anyone who does had better be an air conditioning and business law expert! The disturbing issue is all 4 employees from top to bottom used lies and intimidation. I conclude this is their business model.

On 11/25/14 [redacted] came to our home and performed an inspection of our gas furnace. He did a thorough inspection, explained everything clearly, and pointed out some items that may be problematic in the future. He took his time as opposed to some of the rush jobs I've had in the past from other companies, and left me highly satisfied. Thank you [redacted] and thank you Ace.

On May 7, 2014, your technician, [redacted], came to my home and performed a plumbing inspection. He recommended some items that I would need to replace in the next few months. Also, he replaced the filter for the water line on my refrigerator. He was very knowledgeable about his work, as well as the line of replacement products that you offer. [redacted] is a very congenial, efficient technician.

ACE is "always committed to excellence" and customers love it! I would highly recommend their services to everyone in the valley. If you're looking for the best service from experts in the industry and want to be treated like family - trust your place with ACE!

Review: I had ace air come out to service my a/c unit that was already working( just wanted a check up) I was at work and my wife was at home. They called me and said the fan motor was bad. I told them to give me an estimate on the repair which they did. They said I needed a new motor and 2 other parts that looked worn out. I told them to go ahead with the repair. After thinking about it for awhile I called my wife and told her to ask them to leave the bad parts with her so I could see them when I got home. The service man Billy said they could not do that because they had to bring the bad parts back so they could restock their truck with what they had used! I told him you have an invoice with what you sold me and that should suffice, he still said no. I called customer service the next day to express my displeasure with the tech. they told me that was company policy! I am worried these guys are scamming people all over the valley, for all I know they just washed the unit! I have worked in several automotive type businesses, and when a customer asks for his old parts you always provide them. ( unless there is a core charge )Desired Settlement: These guys need to provide old parts if requested by the customer.

Business

Response:

Ace Air and the consumer has reach a mutual resolution regarding this matter. I explained to the consumer it is not in our normal practice to leave old part(s) behind because we dispose of them properly. I also apologized on the technicians behalf for not following our consumers needs/wishes. Unfortunately, we can’t provide the consumer with the old part but I did offer a discount on the part replaced. The consumer agreed to my offer and we will mail a refund check once the General Liability Release Form is signed and returned.

We are having a real problem with our heatpump, and [redacted] has been working on it, he seems to know what to do, I hope he will get it fixed for us. [redacted] is a pretty good worker.

Review: I had work done on my a/c heat pump less then a year ago. When I turned on the heat no hot air was coming on. I called the company that replaced the compressor, dryer and a switch for a repair cost of just over 1400.00 on 12-4-15. They told me that due to vibration the copper tubes in several places were rubbing and now they told me it would cost over 3000.00 to repair and that the compressor my break down again due to the leakage of the Freon and oil. I asked the tech why was it when your company did the work last year that you did not leave enough room for vibration. I was a auto mechanic for years and very Familiar with auto a/c and vibrations and you need to be mindful to make sure nothing will be rubbing against another part. In my opinion and from what the tech said they did not leave room and tubes rubbed through. The tech when on to tell me that the unit that is only five years old was no good from the start and I should consider just replacing it with a new unit. At a cost of 9600.00. A few minutes after they left I received a call from the tech and was told that the company that did the work was bought out by ace air and there was no warranty on any work that was done. Yet when I look up this company they still advertise like they are still in business I can't understand this. Please I need help I feel like they took my money did poor work and now want to sell me another a/c unit. I am 62 years old on social security disability and my income is very low. I can make through the winter but unable to live through the summer. Please help meDesired Settlement: I would like to company to repair the leaks that my unit has due to there work. Thank you

Response:

After carefull review we have determined the following.Mr. V[redacted], called ACE Home Services under the impression we were the original company who repaired his unit in the past. When he called into our office we agreed to schedule one of our technicians out for a diagnostics. We originally quoted him a diagnostics fee of $79.95 which we waived for him upon our departure and a courtesy to him. Upon our technicians arrival he condemned the unit due to costly repairs and efficiency. We kindly explained that we are not the company he originally worked with and that we simply acquired the companies telephone number and customer database. However, I did explain we didn’t purchase the company as a whole nor their liabilities.I tried contacting the consumer 2 times last time I called him he stated “I wouldn’t buy a bike from you people” and hung up. He hasn’t provided us with the opportunity to discuss this matter. I would appreciate the Revdex.com intervention and explain this matter to the consumer.Respectfully,Becky G[redacted]Customer Service Manager

Response:

It has come to me knowledge that air condition company's in Arizona are all very deceitful to the consumer. This business of buying another a/c company customer bass, phone numbers, address and work orders. When you call they answer the phone as if the company is still in business they say that company's and they will come out to check it. When they came out to my house all they wanted to do was to sell me another unit. Ant then told me that this company is no longer in business. They just want your money I call a larger A/C company and they re did everything that the first company did eleven months ago. They were still advertising thanksgiving deals when I called. Changing the name Is a way that they use to void a warranty. I am convinced that air conditioning company's in Arizona are cheats and all they want is you money. Revdex.com should look into this scam out here. Taking advantage of people. Thank you

Business

Response:

ACE Home Services stands by its original response. we have tried to contact Mr. V[redacted] with no avail. ACE Home Services is NOT the original company that repaired his unit. Because of the confusion of the telephone or the previous company acquired we agreed to waive the diagnostics fee which was originally quoted at $79.95. We would be more than glad to repair or send a Field Service Manager out to his home to diagnose the issue once again at no charge to him. However, a fee for the actual repair will apply. We are more than willing to reach a mutual resolution in this matter. However, in order to do so we request verbal communication or mediation from your firm. Respectfully,Becky G[redacted]

Review: I called on 8/9/15 my AC was not working. AC tech had come out to my residence on 8/10/15 char me $500.00 for a maintenance assurance plan. Tech said he would not charge me to fix my AC if an assurance maintenance plan. First of all, they never fixed the problem I had from day 1 when they installed my new AC & I had a warranty for a year my warranty was not over yet. Friday, March 4, 2016wanted me to buy an assurance plan for $1100,00. I explained to the tech I couldn’t afford it if could pay in payments. Tech responded rudely with, only if the owner’s sister, how would we make money giving people payments? Then tech gave me another for choice of $700.00. I told tech I still couldn’t afford $700.00. Then tech offered me another plan for $500.00. Still couldn’t afford it but what was I going to do in this heat. Tech supposedly fixed my AC on Monday 8/10/15, Said he had cleaned the coils. Tech said he would send an installation tech within a month to check my AC see how was running. I asked Tech what if it broke before then, he answered with call the office & we will send another Tech out. I called on 8/15/15 that my AC went out again. I spoke to receptionist by then I was very upset. I explained to her the problem I was having with my AC. This had been going on for a year receptionist answered well there are people that have been customers for 25 years that are waiting for a Tech. I guess they We’re getting tired of me calling, But I wouldn’t be calling if they had fixed it right in the first place. Receptionist passed me to manager. I don’t remember his name because I was very frustrated by this time. Manager told that all their techs were all busy. The tech for Peoria had 7 people in front of me he could put me down for Sun 8/15/15 but the tech would call me & tell me he couldn’t make it until Mon 8/16/15. There were 2 Many people that were in front of me. My complaint is so long but I have all the invoices each time a tech a tech came out to my home. I wroteDesired Settlement: everything ace told me. I want for ace to come and & fix my ac correctly. After ace fixes my ac. I want a reliable source to come out & make sure its done right & for ace to pay this reliable source. If its not fixed correctly ace has to pay to get my ac fixed correctly . I also want for that ace to pay me back all the extra money ace charged me. I also want ace to pay me for my SRP bill that was $500.00 that was their fault for not fixing my ac correctly. All my fish died my plants died because it was so hot in my home. I felt as if my grandchildren & I were going to die from the heat. This company caused me a lot of stress. I wish they could pay me for everything they put me through. The techs even asked me if I drank because they could not find out what was wrong with my ac. Emergency home repair was suppose to pay for my unit. but there was no money left over. That's why Harold was going to put my unit in he thought the [redacted] was going to pay for my unit. Harold ended

To whom this may concern: This letter is in response to your letter dated March 16, 2016. In your letter you outline a formal complaint from Ms. L[redacted]. In the complaint she stated several issues including but not limited to the following:· Her air conditioning unit broke down mid season causing fish and plant to die· We never fixed the problem from day one· Technician offering a maintenance assurance plan· Customer satisfaction overall After reviewing her account in detail I have determined the disputed amount due to her will be denied on our behalf for the following reasons: The [redacted] contacted our company to provide them with an estimate on replacing an existing 3 ton unit. Our estimator went out to the property and provided her with the estimate for the 3 ton replacement unit. At the time the quote was approved. We proceeded with the installation of the 3 ton unit. Ms. L[redacted], contacted our company notifying us of the issues she was noticing after the installation. We sent technicians out to inspect the unit every time within hours of her call into our company. We determined the unit installed was undersized for the home. She in fact, needed a 5 ton unit not a 3 ton as originally requested/approved by the [redacted]. Out of good faith we agreed to remove the 3 ton unit, replacing it with a upsized 5 ton unit at no charge to her. On May 5, 2015, a year after the installation we received a call from Ms. L[redacted] stating her unit wasn’t working. We scheduled for a technician to go out and diagnose the unit that same day. He got the unit working properly. I spoke to Ms. L[redacted] today regarding the situation/complaint. She informed me that on May 5, 2015 when she called for the service call she had just arrived from a month long trip. She also stated she found her unit not cooling; her fish and plants were dead. I asked Ms. L[redacted] if any was watching over the home and pets while she was out. Mr. L[redacted] informed me that in fact her neighbor was watching the home feeding the fish and watering the plants. She did mention her neighbor informed her; the home was hotter than normal. However, because she was out of town she didn’t contact our company to inform us the unit wasn’t working. Once again a few days later the unit broke down. We schedule a technician to go back out and diagnose the issue. There was no issue found at the time. However, because the unit was over a year old our technician recommended a preventative maintenance agreement. Ms. L[redacted] agreed to purchase the 3 year agreement to maintain the unit and not void any manufacturer warranties if there would be any lack of maintenance. She stated our technician informed her she needed to “wait for the repairs we have customers over 25 years that come first”. I can’t deny that fact this way said or not said. However, I can say all of our customer service representative, technicians and overall Employees are trained to treat our customers whether new or existing with the same high quality customer service and workmanship. After all, ACE is Always Committed to Excellence. If at any given point she felt threatened, mis-understood or we might have offended her in any way shape or form please on behalf of ACE Home Services do accept our most sincere apologies. I asked Ms. L[redacted] if her unit was working fine at the moment. She stated there is no current issues with the unit at all. But that she felt it wasn’t the best of the best. I offered to schedule for out Install Field Manager Harold to go out and personally inspect the unit she declined stating there is nothing wrong with the unit. She terminated the call and I have since tried to make contact with her and no avail.

Review: WE WERE FASELY LED BY SERVICE REPRESENTIVE FROM ACE HOME SERVICES. THE SERVICE MAN TOLD US THAT OUR AIR CONDITIONER WAS BEYOND REPAIR AND BY JUST PUTTING FREEON IN THE UNIT IT WOULD JUST LEAK OUT AGAIN. I'M NOT DISPUTING THIS BUT HE TOLD US WHEN HE WAS PUTTING FREEON IN IT WAS LEAKING OUT SO FAST HE DIDN'T KNOW IF IT WOULD HOLD OVERNIGHT. NOT ONLY DID IT WORK WE WOULD HAVE AT LEAST HAD TIME TO SHOP AROUND FOR THE BEST PRICE. HE GAVE US A VERBAL PRICE OF $6,700.00. I TOLD HIM THIS WAS MORE THAN WE COULD AFFORD BUT I WAS TOLD THAT WE COULD FINANCE THIS AMOUNT THRU [redacted] FOR 36MONTHS. HE CHECKED MY CREDIT AND THEN ADDED 4% TAX AND 12.4% FINANCE CHARGES, BRING THE TOTAL WE HACE TO PAY BACK TO $7,800.00. THEY INSTALLED THE UNIT ON SAT.6-13-15. I HAVE 3 BUSINESS DAYS TO CANCEL AND SINCE THAT DATE I HAVE HAD OTHER BIDS ON BETTER UNITS AND NOW KNOW FOR SURE THAT THEY OVERCHARGED ME BY $1,100.00. I WAS ALSO TOLD BY ANOTHER TEC. THAT THE UNIT ACE INSTALLED HAS AIR LEAKS BECAUSE THE SHEET METAL WAS INSTALLED INPROPERLY. SEEING THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER IS ON MY ROOF AND I'M 73 YEARS OLD I CAN'T CLIMB UP THERE. I HAVE REPEATEDLY CALLED ACE STARTING SAT. NIGHT. THEY RETURNED MY CALL AT 8.30AM ON MONDAY 6-15-15 WITH THE PROMISE OF A RETURN CALL LATER IN THE DAY. I CALLED THEM AGAIN IN THE AFTERNOON AND AGAIN TODAY 6-16-15 AND STILL NO RESPONSE FROM OWNER OR MANAGEMENT. I HAVE ALSO CALLED [redacted] AND I'M DISPUTING THE CHARGES. THANK YOU ANYTHING YOU CAN DO TO HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.Desired Settlement: NOT ONLY A BILLING AJUSTMENT BUT REPAIR THE INPROPER INSTALLATION. THE SHEET METAL WAS INSTALLED INPROPERLY. WE JUST WANT FAIR TREATMENT. JUST BECAUSE WE ARE SENIOR CITIZENS I NO REASON TO OVERCHARGE.

Response:

ACE Home Service has received the complaint and is actively working to resolve this matter. On June 15th I spoke the consumer regarding a pricing issue/dispute. She informed me her neighbor got a new unit installed at a much lower price than hers. However, after further discussion with the consumer we were able to indentify that the unit her neighbor purchased was the equivalent type of unit she had installed. The consumer agreed the pricing was different because of difference of the unit. In regards to the sheet metal I was not aware of this situation she contacted the Revdex.com prior calling our company. I contacted the consumer after receiving the complaint, she informed me she called a different company out to inspect her unit after our conversation. They informed her the sheet metal/stand installed was faulty and old but additional details we not given. However, ACE didn’t install a new stand we simply installed a twist transition. The consumer had an EXISTING stand and it’s on a FOAMED in roof- if we were to remove the stand from the FOAMED in roof- it would have caused damage to the roof. However, I did offer to the consumer a field supervisor go out and as the diagnosis from the other company. If it’s something we did or might failed to do correctly and was written on the proposal we will gladly rectify it. She agreed to schedule an appointment. However, she was very adamant about the pricing issue still. I told her we would review her concern and potentially address her pricing issue. Our main priority is resolved every issue to were both parties reach a mutual resolution. Once additional details become available I will notify the Revdex.com in writing. Sincerely,Becky G[redacted]Office ManagerOffice:[redacted]

Review: In 12/11 I purchesed a new unit from Ace Air for $5,228.76 delivered & installed. Ace Air changed the duct unit in the hall way to a different unit. It kept falling open due to faulity locking device. I called Ace Air & made a complaint about this unit. They never responded to this problem. They since have sent a worker to look a the air conditioner & check the unit in the hall-way. They inform me that it is no longer in warranty & is my problem not their's. When I talked to them on the phone they were rude & hung up on me. When my husband talked to them they said it was our problem not theirs. My husband told them he would lodge a complaint against them & they hyung up on him also. They called back in a short time & said they would order a new unit5 & drop it off to us.. That the installition of said unit would be up to us. We would also have to sign a form saying Ace Air & us were no longer doing business together. My husband is a 72 year old dissabled veteran and we don't have enough money to live on. All I want is the proper unit installed at no cost to us. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME [redacted]Desired Settlement: Install proper unit

This email is in response to the complaint dated August 29, 2014. In the complaint Ms. [redacted] address our company due failure to provide service to the Bar Type Grill. On August 5, 2014, Ms. [redacted] contact our company informed us the latch on the Bar Type Grill was not latching properly. I waived the diagnostics fee of $79.95 out of good faith. Upon our technicians arrival he diagnosed that in deed Ms. [redacted] needed to replace the Bar Type Grill. Because this component is not a manufacturer part and it is out of the 2 year labor warranty we quoted Ms. [redacted] to replace the Bar Type Grill. At that point Ms. [redacted] became very hostile threatening our technician so he left the jobsite. On August 6, 2014, Ms. [redacted] contact our company because she not impressed by the price quote. I agreed to a discount price of $69.99 installed Mr. [redacted] declined request to speak with my Superior. At this point, out Director of Operations contacted Ms. [redacted]. The discussed the price and once again was offered the Bar Type Grill at 69.99. Ms. [redacted] became very upset stating “I hope the filter grill hits one of your guys in the head”. At this point once it becomes a verbal abuse and wishing bad upon us we requested to terminate all ties with Ms. [redacted]. We made several tempts to satisfy Ms. [redacted] with no avail and are requesting the Revdex.com to intervene to close this matter.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

ace air lied to the Revdex.com in their response to my complaint. so therefore I do not wish to ever do business with Ace Air again. let other customers of Ace Air know the grill product is defective & will fall open. This could cause injury to whom ever it strikes. thank you for your time

Regards,

I received a call from my tenant in Surprise Arizona, I live in California. My tenant said that the airconditioning unit is acting out and he has a guy from aircondition company who wants to speak to me. He identify himself as technician [redacted]. he said that the coil leaks that is why the unit freezes and the unit tuned off, and it is very dangerous to the occupant to keep inhaling these chemicals that leaks thru the vents. He said he also checked the second floor unit and it started to do the same so it needs to be fixed too. He said it cost $6,160.00.I got the estimate paper to prove it.We argue about the price but he said it was already 95 degrees inside the house and it's only ten o'clock in the morning. He said these fixes will only good for 2 to 3 years so he recommend that I change the 2 units now. He can make me a deal for $14,000.00 for these 2units and give the 15seers. After minutes of back and forth discussion I agreed to have it fix for now.So the work order was written and give him my credit card numbers. The more I think about it the more I get upset, knowing that I'm getting rip off in front of my nose but have no choice since I live out of state.I talked to my sister and she recommended her trusted friend who have airconditioning and heating repair company.I was able to convinced the technician to drive to Arizona the next day.Cancelled the work order from Cool Ace Air.The technician found no leak after he did all the test but the problem was it was low on freon as simple as that.Cool Ace Air charged me $79.95 to give a bogus diagnosis just to rip people off. so people beware of this company.By the way Cool Ace Air already charged my credit card company the $6,160.00 the next day even before the work was done. Now it's in dispute. What a nerve.

When my air conditioner went out a neighbor recommended ACE. They came to my house the day I called them and installed a new air conditioner the next day. When I had a small leak, they came out again the same day I called. I was very pleased with the service I received, especially from [redacted].

So I used their service last year and received a flyer saying "post an online review and we will send you a $25.00 gift certificate to many participating restaurants!". I did post to 2 web sites as they instructed to with 5 stars. Well, I hear nothing from them. I sent follow-up e-mail twice to ask about gift certificate. Nothing. They just stopped communicating and not keeping promise. Liar!

I called Ace Air to come look at my air conditioning unit they came in and told me, I had a blown blower wheel and the motor needed replaced. The cost was going to be 1,200.00. [redacted] fixed the problem and it cost $314.00. I think it is a shame that companies are out to rip people off!!

I have been using Ace Home Services to maintain my a/c unit and fix broken parts for the past 3-5 years, and I have nothing but positive things to say about them and their technicians. Most recently [redacted] came to my home to perform an annual service on my a/c unit. He was very professional and knowledgable. I would definitely reckoned Ace to anyone.
