The response is a LIEWe have a receiptfrom the person that came out after *** who gave us $offHe verbally toldus it was ok and the receipt demonstrate it as 100% proof.*** seems to be a liar and scammer, $is not worth being reported to theRevdex.comHim and his worker must have had a miscommunication and they didnt want topay for their mistakeThey expect us to pay for itWe want our $backimmediately as it is the right thing to do as a business owner who made amistake through his employeeWe also had the inconvenience of not being ableto get our stuff from the 3rd party mover until this was resolvedThey steppedon our carpet with sneakers on and left stains, and left marks on our wallsfrom not being careful moving our belongings.The receipts attached demonstrate that the 1st balance was $after our $deposit when *** came but 2nd timeWe made a 2nd payment when the initial movers came by to pick upThat 2nd payment left a remaining balance of $which included the $discount coupon *** and the lead mover offeredWhen we were at the pick up address the Drop off movers DEMANDED $*** at that point claimed that the $coupon was not valid and had to be removed and they couldnt offer itI think its a big scam and I will be sure to let the internet know about my experience unless he refunds my $in full

Their *** *** offered me for my loss which is crazy They had extensive damage to my furniture They have lost furniture and they have broken dishes and china The delivery person also witnessed some of the damage and stated that on my receipt
There is a deep scratch on the top of the bottom base of my dining break front there are scrapes on the front of the bottom base they broke of the top side of the hutch They put a hole in my select comfort bed which is air and pressure induced They lost a large mirror of which was worth over dollars yet I only asked for back for that They only showed up with the driver and one other person so my children had to help unload the truck and look for our furniture because the driver could not find our things They broke dishes and china of which I had you years from my parents And my dining room is an antiqueI just expected them to be fair they caused the damage

To Whom It May Concern: I am in receipt of the complaint for the customer, [redacted]. The customer requests assistance from Revdex.com for the delivery of her household goods. [redacted] has been in our storage for over 30 days and upon the phone call from her telling us that her “first date for...

delivery” would be on the [redacted] of April, we put her items into the delivery rotation. We always guarantee the pickup date but we can NEVER guarantee the delivery date. Too many things can happen in moving, i.e. weather, mechanical difficulties. We always do our best to deliver as close to the “[redacted]” without arriving before that date. We delivered the items on the 6th of June while maintaining updates via phone conversations daily. This is 8 days after her “first date of delivery” and well within the proper realm of trucking deliveries. As far as the payment due upon delivery, the customer chose to leave a balance for delivery and was charged properly. The services she ordered were provided therefore, no reduction is forthcoming. We always appreciate Constructive Criticism at Ace Moving and Storage and we appreciate the comments provided. Sincerely, Ace Moving and Storage

Unfortunately, we are well beyond the point of an apology.  There had been no effort to alleviate my issues.  In fact, when I called to explain my situation (i.e., no clothes, no bed), several days past the point that everything should have been delivered, I was told to "go buy new ones."  Also, "we tell everyone" regarding the 18 wheeler extra cost is clearly not true, considering I was unaware.  This will be escalated to small claims, which I sincerely do not want to deal with, but there has not even been an olive branch offering by Ace Moving so far.  I paid 2 times the quoted cost and my things were delivered 2 weeks late.  I have more than a leg to stand on here, so considering Ace Movers position, I have no choice but to bring on representation.

B.B.B.The customer submits an additional inquire about the hours needed for the move.The original estimate weeks before the move was for 14.5 hours, the actual movewas 21 hours and that was the amount the customer was charged for. There aretwo reason for the increase, first off, their was the increase of inventory which takes longer to load and unload and there was packing necessary that took time.Lastly, when we originally booked this move we didn't even have an address in **.Once we received the address days before the move, the travel time increased to7 hours,not the original 5.5 hours. The customer was only charged for the time she used and the services provided.If the inventory would not have increased and if all items had been packed andready to go we would have been much closer to the original estimate, that is justan estimate based on the info given from the customer. We are always striving for customer satisfaction but at this time there is no reductionthat is due based on the time sheet from the move.Thank You,Ace Moving and Storage

Yes, there was an increase of items to be shipped, but at the amount they quoted, it is still incredibly steep for the amount I had shipped. Most of these items were smaller boxes, so no I reject that the amount quoted on the day of pick up was a fair estimate. I allowed them to take my items because I needed to be in my new location to begin a job, so essentially was in a bind and did not have the time to shop for a new company.To add to this complaint, once the truck with my items arrived, I was sure to have a location chosen that would not be difficult for them to pull their large truck into. When the driver arrived, he did not even attempt to pull his truck in, even though there was ample room to do so. Both myself and the manager of the storage unit I had them bring my belongings witnessed there was more than enough room and clearance for him to pull his truck into. They then refused to give me my belongings and were going to drive off until the manager of the storage unit kindly offered me the use of his onsite moving van. To add to this frustration, some of my belongings were carelessly dealt with, resulting in damage. So, again, I reject the business's response and wish to proceed with this complaint. They are both unprofessional, rude, and dishonest. [redacted]

to whom it may concern:As we explain to any of our mutual customers, we never guaranty nor gave an exact day for delivery, customer been advised by our reps that her household goods is in transit and will be deliver in 7-8 days.we are in touch with her on a daily basis, we do not discuss any...

compensation until delivery is completed.in this industry there are so many obstacles that can delay the shipment...weather, mechanical issues....etc.the price for move was base on her volume and she agreed to the price prior to loading her shipment.customer can contact customer service once delivery is complete.

Thank youAdditional information from the business:Revdex.com,First off on the final bill, you will see that the customer signed us in and out with his initials. He was charged for 6.5 hours and the $61.14 was the charge for the 7% fuel surcharge. The Valuation which is to the left is .30 per lb. He was only charged for the time he used, fuel surcharge and packing materials. These items were approved on the pickup date and there is no additional Information available. Lastly we have no knowledge of wall damage, our foreman did not report Any damages.The customer was charged properly and therefore no reduction is in order.Thank You..

our customer used the 2nd as theirfirst date of delivery, it meant that we could not get it there before thatdate..From the first date of delivery the average delivery time is within3-5 business days and we delivered at 2 days. We contacted the customerthroughout the move and they were well aware of the delivery time.     As far as the relationship between Ace Moving and their employees, thiscrew has been with Ace for over 5 years and reports being very happy withtheir jobs.     Thank you for the email, only through customer reviews can we improveour customer relations.All the best,Ace Moving and Storage

My sister in law was at the pickup point and would probably have paid twice as much to get her [redacted] mother's apartment emptied.  She was not mentally in a position to compare the original quote, count items, or question charges.I still think the figure was inflated and the only good news is that I don't plan on moving me or anyone in this life time but if I did, it would not be with this company. I have mentioned before that I had a hundred things going on that day and didn't check the clock when they left. They were gone for a half an hour before I called to complain and the time then was 2:30. They took advantage of this. Again, their unprofessionalism, inability to disassemble furniture, lack of tools and smoking cigarettes led to the time being inflated. They put those holes in my wall. Of course their Forman wouldn't write it up.  This is the same man that wrote down the wrong time, insulted my furniture and insulted me for not giving a bigger tip. Besides the holes, there is still the matter of the hundred dollars for pads that were never used.

First off Mary said if we pick up the furniture by Monday it will be there Friday . That's was a huge condition of me choosing this company. Secondly the price was $3500 that was estimated . All moving company say the same thing . We can't give you a price over the phone we need to see the furniture and do a count. Mary a 20+ year estimator was very off . Also once everything was loaded they said I had 2100 cubes of furniture. Meaning that my furniture took up that much space on there truck. . Well explain this to me . I rented a 26 ft Penske truck and if you google how many cubes that trucks has its 1700 cubes . They loaded my entire load from there truck so again off by 400 cubes . You may think it's nothing but 400 cubes times $3.25 a cube is $1300. They where going to scam me either way because there was no way for me to know exactly how many cubes I had . And the blankets being fair .. You have to be kidding me .. They cost $3-$5 each brand new . This company's scam  us at . They where so afraid I wasn't going to pay they locked the truck and wouldn't unload me into my truck rental until I paid. This company knows what they did was wrong . I am not asking for to much . I want a refund for $500 for the over charge of the packing materials and I am willing to pay $6 for each moving blanket so I want a refund of $854 . Total refund requested $1354. Mind you they are professional movers and packers and they loaded everything for us. I have a broken vanity that I have to fix and the estimate is $575. And one of my tall mirrors was also broken . My bed frame and chest have damage also. I don't want anything more than what's fair. There labor rate is way expensive but this is the scam . They come give you a low price then load you up and raise the price . This is horrible . Scammers

At NO TIME was a prolonged delivery period discussed. How convenient for you that it suddenly exists now. When speaking with the foreman who set the delivery date we were told the [redacted]. If anyone had even hinted at a 10 day 'window' we would have put our delivery date far earlier and arranged someone to be there. Seriously, I hope you are proud of yourselves for the stress and financial inconveniences you are causing myself, my husband and my unborn baby.
