Very comfortable- feel safe- very quiet- correct speed.

We really like the stairlift, but my husband is 6'2" so it really is too low and you don't have anything to make it higher (it's the outside lift). I had to make a pillow 4" higher and it works now.

Full Disclosure - I have not actually completed a business transaction with Acorn Stairlifts.

I'm attempting to get information for my parents about their mobility options. This company refused to allow a representative to even speak with me unless I provided a street address. This upset me, as elderly people are vulnerable and we work hard to avoid identifying their home as occupied by elderly or infirm people. When we choose a product and vendor we will of course provide an address for installation - but we do NOT want their address in the database of every company that sells products for frail or disabled individuals. That would be like painting a target on the front door!

Sales person very friendly & knowledgeable. Installer was on time friendly, courteous and explained everything fully. His name was Carlos and he was a joy to have install my chair lift. I would rate him a 20. He was great with me and my husband. Very happy with him.

Overall it was a good experience and I will be able to say more after using the equipment for some time.

Stay away from this company! High pressure sales tactics and rude, even violent behavior. Acorn sent a salesman to give a free estimate to my 90 year old parents. This so-called salesman was in the middle of his presentation when I walked in and joined the presentation. Mr. Brad S[redacted] was visibly annoyed that I had arrived and let us all know that with his facial expressions and body language. I was there to protect my 90 year old parents. I listened courteously to his presentation and I found many interesting facts we needed to know. When Mr. S[redacted] and I were alone measuring the stairwell, I asked him politely not to pressure my parents into signing a contract that day. I told him I wanted them to get other estimates. Again, Mr. S[redacted] let me know he was angry because he turned and walked away from me in mid-sentence. Immediately, Mr. S[redacted] went back to my parents and asked for the sale - today. I told him again, in front of my parents, that we would not be signing a contract today. He then asked if we could sign the contract tomorrow, otherwise he would not get his full sales commission. I told him that I liked the product and since my parents had called his company, I felt they were leaning toward purchasing from them. But, we would be getting other estimates. The next day we got a second estimate from a local company - Mr. S[redacted]'s office was not local, but 90 miles away in Richmond, Va. - and decided to go with them since we felt they could provide better service if we needed it. I gave Mr. S[redacted] the courtesy of a phone call to let him know of our decision. I did not want him wondering what was going on. I thought this was the proper thing to do. It was not. In the voice message I left for Mr. S[redacted] I thanked him for his time and asked him to honor our decision and to please not call my 90 year parents. I did not want them bothered anymore. Mr. S[redacted] did call my parents and angrily asked why they were not going with his company. My father, who is an incredibly nice man, was so upset at Mr. S[redacted]'s tone and attitude that he felt forced to hang up the phone. Incredibly, Mr. S[redacted] called back a second time and started in on my mother. Mr. S[redacted] angrily told my mother that he felt mistreated by them and demanded to know why they weren't buying the product from him.. He left my mother in tears. When my parents told me about this I called Mr. S[redacted] a second time and left a voice message telling him to never call my parents again. Incredibly, Mr. S[redacted] then called me and started screaming at me that I was rude and arrogant during his presentation and did not give him a fair chance. Because Mr. S[redacted] was screaming at me, I hung up the phone. Incredibly, Mr. S[redacted] tried to call me back a second time. I did not answer the phone. Simply stated, this is the most unprofessional behavior I have ever witnessed. Mr. S[redacted] made it clear that he wanted my parents to sign a contract that day and when I made it clear that we were going to get other estimates, as the Revdex.com suggests, he became angry and belligerent. When we informed him we were going with a different company he started harassing my 90 year old parents. Then he started harassing me. My parents actually asked me if they needed to worry about Mr. S[redacted] coming back to the house to "get even with them" for not buying from them. This is borderline violent behavior by Mr. S[redacted] and I am going to file a formal complaint with this Revdex.com and with Acorn. I am also considering getting a police restraining order against Mr. S[redacted]. We are now afraid of him. Don't let this man in your house.

I was very pleased with the salesman & the installers. I was disappointed that no one told me about the pin that holds the hinge in place and that had to be adjusted. Caused me to make couple extra phone calls and someone I had here doing other things figured it out.

Gave me access to my carving shop & big screen TV in the basement!

From the moment I spoke to the phone person for the sales rep to the installers I felt very comfortable. I felt comfortable in my condition and all affects to ensure the perfect fit. The knowledge of the product from the sales person was of a mom full of experience not a "script reader" and the installers were very kind and answered all my questions.

Salesman [redacted] was very knowledgeable and courteous. He was very professional in his presentation. Installer [redacted] was also very professional and courteous and knowledgeable. He was sure to provide detailed instructions on how to operate the stairlift. Very satisfied with your company and your representatives. I would recommend Acorn to anyone who needs a chairlift.

Highly recommend Acorn Stairlifts for anyone who needs a stairlift. The service has been excellent.

Everything went fine. No problems at all. Thank you!

Very well pleased with all aspects.

Sales staff was very friendly and helpful (Sue K[redacted]. Installer was very professional, very tolerant of my puppy and very thorough in explaining the chair use/functions (Josh H[redacted]).

Best thing I have done. I love it wish I had got it before home enjoying it.

My husband and I received our Acorn 130 Stairlift for a Christmas gift from our sons in a very unusual and original manner. We were presented with a box containing several plastic acorns. We were bewildered, to say the least, until we found enclosed at the bottom of the box a picture of our new Acorn 130.

What a wonderful surprise! It has been, and will continue to be put to good use. Needless to say, it will make our life much safe.

It is very smooth ride. I am most pleased with the installation-service and product.

This will be my first time using product.

Thank you for being so easy to work with. No high pressure - just attentive customer service.
