While it may seem the complainants intentions were clear, our intentions and requirements were also clear.  We responded as our agreements states and notified the complainant of the steps that would need to be followed.  He was informed of the window for cancellation notification, was also informed that a reminder would be displayed on his invoice indicating by when he would need to request non-renewal by.  Early termination requests as well as late termination requests are not accepted as was also described in the original call.  We have acted in accordance to our contractual requirements.

We have a contract.And the contract states we have fees.  Thank you

[redacted] did not receive and increase on his bill for his monthly service.  Advanced Disposal did have a price increase on some accounts but his was not included.  The message that was printed on the invoice “Due to increasing costs, your next invoice may reflect a slight increase”...

was printed on all of our customers invoices so those that did receive an increase were aware of it.  It was printed on 2 invoices because some of our customers are billed in advance and some are arrears.  His 2nd invoice that he received from us was in fact a higher amount then the $50.00 monthly charge because he was charged a Service Charge.  This was a $5.95 Service Charge and it is a late fee because his 8-31-17 invoice was not paid until 10-09-17.  The invoices need to be paid in 30 days or the customer will receive a $5.95 Service Charge.  I will adjust the $5.95 Service Charge off of his invoice as a one-time courtesy credit so he will only owe $50.00 Please let me know if you need anything else. Thank You

I called Mr [redacted] at 1115 am on Wednesday and explained that normally there is a return trip charge but today we would over look the charge because our customer service rep could not remember if he told the customer about the charge. Mr [redacted] stated that he was happy with our service otherwise....

 And that his and the neighbors trash and recycling were still out for pick up. Thank you

In regards to the complaint below, we have given the customer the credits they asked for on their March & April invoices.  Since then we have [redacted]ed them at the contractual rates we agreed upon at the meeting they had with [redacted] and myself.  But they refuse to pay the locked fuel rates...

that they had agreed upon in the meeting.  It was brought to our attention by Belinda that they were approached by a competitor, that did charge fuel and environmental fee’s and significant lower rates than what we were charging.  So they now want out of their contract, we have closed their account as they have requested as of 7/14/16, and have scheduled our containers to be removed.  They have a balance on their May invoice of $57.28, since they short paid the agreed upon locked fuel fee’s.   Their will be an adjustment to their June invoice for services from 7/15/16 through 7/31/16, but at this time they have not paid invoice, so they will have will not be getting a refund, and will have a balance due. Sincerely,    [redacted] | Office Manager

Advanced Disposal has bought Groot and starting September 1st of 2017 we have taken over the waste services for all of the customers.  The customer has been notified by Advanced Disposal as to what has happened.  The customer was unaware of the acquisition.  Advanced Disposal will be...

We typically sign the majority of our customers to service agreements that range from 1-5 years that include automatic renewals terms. In this case, the customer has a three year auto renewing valid service agreement that until 6/15/16. As a company, we try and work with any issues that may...

arise with customers with as much communication as possible. Pertaining to this customer specifically, they receive emails with their invoice along with any notifications we need to provide. We do this because they choose to pay the invoice through our convenient auto pay system. When the customer explained to us they would like to terminate service, we simply tried working with them and explained we have a valid service agreement in place until 6/15/16. We always try and work with the customer first with any issues that include price, service issues, or service agreements.

to maintain all active customer accounts and hold to services rendered should they decide to cancel.  We will actively try to retain our customers and unfortunately while attempting to do so with this customer a miscommunication happened.  We have addressed this with our Customer Care Representative involved and all others within our office.  We have closed out the residents account effective 1-8-16 as was requested and issued credit for the remaining unused service period.  The total amount of the credit issued is $133.57 against the original invoice amount of $154.10.  The remaining balance on this residents account is $20.53.

This review is speaking against the transfer station site in Rolling Meadows, IL. This past week has been difficult since we had a family member pass away. I decided to clean out the storage unit to dispose of unwanted items. I called the transfer station in Rolling Meadows to inquire what time the site closed to get rid of trash. The individual stated 4:30pm and said I could just come. Well, I arrived at the transfer station around 3:50pm. The individual came out of unit stating that we could not dump our trash because he closed at 4pm. I tried to explain to him that I called and someone told me 4:30pm. He was not trying to hear it. I had 3 other people with me to unload our trash, and it would have taken us 10-15 minutes . He told us to move our truck right now because he need to close the gate so he could go home. During this whole ordeal, a [redacted] truck came, and he allowed them to dump their trash. This individual was so rude to me that it is hard to forget. He was blaming me the whole entire time, and would not even speak with me nor the people that were with me with any demeanor.

I saw that Advanced Disposal replied stating that I was breaking my contractThe real answer is I am canceling my contract and paying the penalty to cancel early.Thanks
