Review: I received my refuse bill for the January-April period on January 9, 2016. We decided to cancel the service and I called the Hartland office on January 11 to cancel and was given a two week amount of service to pay because there had been two weeks of pickup already. Later in the day, I received a call telling me that I could not just pay my two weeks, but that I must pay the entire 4 months and keep the service until the next quarter. I asked them where it said on the bill that you could not cancel the service anytime and the lady said that it did not say that anywhere, but it was just a new policy that had started. I told her that no one had informed us and that I thought that they were making up rules as it suited them.Desired Settlement: I would like to just pay for my two weeks as I believe that I am legally able to do and cancel my service as I intended in the first place.

Response:

I am in receipt of the below Revdex.com complaint. Please allow me to explain that this was a miscommunication by our Customer Care Representative. It is not our policy to hold residents to unused service invoices they have cancelled or are intending on cancelling. It is our policy to try to maintain all active customer accounts and hold to services rendered should they decide to cancel. We will actively try to retain our customers and unfortunately while attempting to do so with this customer a miscommunication happened. We have addressed this with our Customer Care Representative involved and all others within our office. We have closed out the residents account effective 1-8-16 as was requested and issued credit for the remaining unused service period. The total amount of the credit issued is $133.57 against the original invoice amount of $154.10. The remaining balance on this residents account is $20.53.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

Review: Over the years that Veolia/Advanced Disposal has been handling my garbage removal at my apartment address of [redacted], tenants have called in more than 4 times and the workers on the phones at Advanced Disposal have told them details about my account. I got irritated and called Advanced Disposal about 6-8 months ago and they said they would put a flag on my account. However, tenants are calling in and they are still giving tenants details about my account. It is nobody's business but mine and Advanced Disposal what is going on with my account. I just talked to someone there again and she got snippy with me and said there was nothing they can do. They need to enforce some type of privacy for their clients paying for their services.Desired Settlement: They need to adopt some type of policy to assure that their customers' information is being kept confidential.

Business

Response:

The customer was contacted directly regarding this complaint. We were able to determine that someone impersonated [redacted] using her credentials. The old credentials were removed and new credentials were established with [redacted]. There were no privacy concerns related to this once we spoke about this issue.

Review: I am having a negative experience with Advanced Disposal of Fort Atkinson regarding cancellation of their service.

Advanced purchased [redacted] Sanitation and soon began raising their prices in the form of added fees. Over time the costs of my monthly service was 30% higher than it was with [redacted]. I was never called by Advance to explain why the fees were being charged and it was obvious to me that it was their method of raising prices and being able to say their rates had not changed.

Eventually I had enough and decided to change to another service.

When I called Advance to cancel they said I had a contract.

I never signed a contract with Advanced but they said I had with [redacted] and that it had an auto renewal provision.

It turns out that I called a week in advance of the renewal but then Advanced said that the contract required a 3 month written notice delivered by certified mail to cancel the contract and that now I had to wait an additional year!!!

They offered to eliminate the extra fees if I would sign a new 3 year contract.

I said I would not sign any agreement with them as I wanted to get away from them as fast as possible.

I started doing research on the subject and discovered that Wisconsin passed a statute 134.49 that regulates the automatic renewals of such contracts and by my reading of the statute Advanced violated the statute and therefore I should not be subject to the auto renewal.

I sent the certified letter to them giving notice of cancellation just so it will be in place for next May in the event that I am not successful in getting this resolved.

This company has numerous complaints for poor service and terrible customer service from their customers.Desired Settlement: I just want to cancel my service with this company with no penalty.

Response:

After reviewing the complaint Advanced Disposal had decided to release Mr. [redacted] from his contractual agreement. Although MR [redacted] is still in a contract with Advanced Disposal for his waste removal and his contract is not set to expire until 2017 at this time we will be releasing him from his contract and will be remove our can.

Review: Our garbage is scheduled to be collected every Friday. On Friday July 17 our garbage was not collected. We followed standard practice of placing our bin on the curb the night before. In response to the inconvenience of not having our garbage collected, I called Advanced Disposal on Friday 7/17 and left a voicemail message. The following week I had not received a return call so I called again on Tuesday 7-21 and spoke to a representative. This representative instructed me to leave any additional garbage that I had accumulated next to my bin and it would be collected on my normal pick up day (Friday 7-24.) Our garbage was not collected again on 7-24. I called Advanced Disposal again and left another voicemail. A representative returned my call on Monday 7/27. The representative instructed me to leave my garbage bin by the curb and assured me a driver would come collect my trash immediately. I arrived home at 5:30pm on Monday (7-27) to find my garbage had not been collected. I called Advanced Disposal again and left another voicemail. At approximately 11:30am the following day (Tuesday 7-28) I still had not received a return call so I called again and spoke to yet another representative. This representative assigned a driver to collect my garbage that day and was confident that my garbage would be collected before the days end. Upon arriving home my garbage had still not been collected. I have almost 3 weeks of garbage accumulating and my method of calling and being assured of a resolution is clearly not working. I have contacted the Village of [redacted] and shared my complaint with the office personnel. During this phone call with the Village of [redacted], I was informed that the village has received numerous complaints about garbage not being collected including the garbage at the Town Hall.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to have my garbage collected, to receive a credit for the 2 weeks of uncollected garbage, and to not have to call Advanced Disposal to have my garbage collected in the future.

Business

Response:

On behalf of Advanced Disposal we are very sorry for this unfortunate situation this customer has encountered. On the morning of Wednesday July 29th we sent a driver out to 608 Terrace Rd., to collect his trash along with any extras; a Route Manager went out to assess the area if there was anything prohibiting the past pick-ups, everything appears to be fine. We have marked this address specifically in our system to ensure timely pick-ups moving forward. We unfortunately will not be able to issue any credits due to this being a municipal customer and the services paid through the property taxes.

Review: I have asked to have my route changed because you come at 5 am. This is a residential pick up. We work out of our home. Then you tell me it can't be changed so I want to cancel my service. That can't be cancelled because the contract auto renews for 3 years. I have been told that auto renew contracts are not legal in Wisconsin. This is terrible customer service. No one will call me back.I entered into a contract for 36 months that was auto renewed for an additional 36 months. However, when I called to have them honor my original contract, they told me the only enforceable item on the original contract was term, not price. Price has gone up 50% in 5 years. So really, they have me for 3 years at a time and can arbitrarily charge whatever they want.Desired Settlement: Let me out of contract without penalty.

April 7, 2015

Dear Revdex.com,

I returned Ms. [redacted]’s

phone call today regarding her compliant.

I apologized for the inconvenience and explained that our sales manager

was on vacation until April 14 and that is why he did not get back to her. I spoke with our operations team about pick

up times. I discovered that our truck

broke down the day before and was trying to play catch up, the reason today for

the early pick up. Going forward her

account is on code red and no pick up before 7 am, meaning the driver must call

in after he services her account so we can record pick up times to

monitor. I informed her of the GPS

system in the trucks to validate this information. She also had a compliant about her contract

rolling over. I explained that we

notified her via written notice back in March 2013; “This is a reminder that

your agreement will renew for an additional 36 months unless you decline

renewal by certified mail to the address noted in your agreement for receipt

before Apr 29 2013.”

Thank you

Advanced Disposal

Response:

I don't believe the truck broke down, they have been coming at 5 am for at least a year. But they are at least trying to do something now. I appreciate the quick response. The truck must break down every week right before our stop. Maybe they need new trucks that are more reliable than every week breaking down.

l neighbors have tried to contact them on several occasions over the last two years ,concerning our billing statements. We live in a apartment complex ,we have dumpsters ,and we're all getting charged different rates. They have told people different reasons and dropped charges for some people ,but not others.I have a friend a friend in Eau Claire ,who pays for recycling and garbage, who pays less than I do for just garbage. We also get charged Admin. fees, plus environmental fees ,plus gas fees for their vehicles. I have called many times they give me the run around about who to contact .They always say someone is checking I get no where. I am not sure how many units there are here ,maybe at least probably 100 units. There are at least 10 of us who have been talking together about this for Two years, Iam finally tired of it.

Our business is looking for new waste pick-up service to save on monthly costs. Received a quote from a competitor of Advanced Disposal - significantly less. Advised Advanced Disposal we would be terminating service as of May 1, 2015. I was advised we have a contract until January 2017 because we were sent a notice on an invoice stating "This is a reminder that your agreement will renew for an additional 36 months unless you decline renewal by certified mail to the address noted in your agreement for receipt before Dec. 3, 2013." This was sent out on our 10/31/2013 billing. I can't believe a binding contract can be made without a signature confirming that we would like to renew.

I did talk with an attorney and he stated: "In May 2010, Wisconsin adopted a new statute regulating provisions for the automatic renewal of certain business to business contracts. The law became effective on May 1, 2011. The new law protects businesses from being unexpectedly bound, as purchasers or lessees, by the automatic renewal of contracts because they fail to notice, or forget, that advance notice of non-renewal is contractually required. It covers most leases, other than real property leases, and most contracts to purchase services."

When I spoke with the account representative at Advanced Disposal she said the contract was "absolutely" binding. I am waiting to hear from the Area Sales Representative. I hope this gets resolved. I was told if we terminate our services, it will cost us over $1500.00. Thank you.

Review: The company refused to pick up a dumpster they had provided, claiming it was too heavy. Eventually, after asking competitors to empty the dumpster, one competitor told me he had personal ties with one of Advanced Disposal's drivers, and would talk to his friend at Advanced Disposal. Advanced Disposal then picked up the dumpster. Advanced Disposal is charging me for a dumpster for the period between when I requested the dumpster be emptied and when it eventually was emptied, weeks later.Desired Settlement: Remove the charges for the dumpster after I had requested it be emptied, as well as the second dumpster they delivered for the purpose of emptying contents from one dumpster to another (an unnecessary service).

Business

Response:

Advanced Disposal talked with the customer numerous times on this complaint and thought everything was agreed upon. On August 20th, we tried to dump the box and our truck could not dump the box, it was too heavy. We did not charge the customer for this service. We had to deliver a second box so we could service the customer. Our pricing was $135 everytime the container is dumped. That is how the customer was charged $270. The last conversation we had with [redacted] we told him we would credit $100 of the remaining $270 and previously credited $230 for rent. The customer agree and paid the $170. As far as we were aware, we thought this issue was finalized. This was the [redacted] location. The first email went to the wrong site.

Review: Advanced Disposal ("Advanced")has been billing me for trash collection services never provided. This complaint relates to Advanced account number [redacted] for trash collection at [redacted]. The invoice is in the name of my former wife. Their are no current residents at [redacted] and the house has been listed for sale for all of 2014.

In my village of [redacted] Advanced is pad by the village to collect trash of the residents every two weeks, and for an extra fee, Advanced will pick up the trash at a residence in the "off" weeks", so that a resident may have weekly pick-up. In 2013, I had a contract with Advanced for weekly pick-up for a portion of the year, ending on December 31, 2013. I notified Advanced prior to that date that I would not be renewing the "off" week pick-up and that I desired to simply have the village scheduled pick up on a going forward basis.

Because of the wildlife in the area, I (and most River Hills residents) keep my trash in the garage until the day of pick-up, then roll it outside of the garage so that Advanced can pick it up. At no time after 21/31/2013 did I move my trash cans outside of my garage on an "off" week, so it would have been impossible for Advanced to pick it up and continue a weekly collection (although the house is vacant, I occasionally do use the trash collection service during the "on" weeks to dispose of items as I continue to empty out the house). However, in March of 2014 I received an invoice from Advanced for trash collection during the "off" weeks. I called Advanced and told them about the problem, and they said they would look into it. However, nothing has been done. I received a call from Advanced last week letting me know that my account was overdue, and I received another invoice in the mail, showing that they are still billing me for "off" week collection, and have been for all of 2014. I again called Advanced and the person I spoke with told me that my invoice was overdue; when I asked her to check and see if she had any call history from my on this account, she said that they did have a call from me in March and that they were "investigating" it. I attempted to explain to the problem to the customer service person I was speaking with, but she said there was nothing she could do about it. Because of this, I have no recourse other than to file this complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like Advanced to adjust any invoice to show a zero balance, and would like a letter from them acknowledging their error so I do not have to worry about this matter escalating. If I do not receive a satisfactory resolution, I will escalate this complain to the [redacted], and will consider court action.

Dear Sir,

The account with Advanced Disposal is at zero. The balance has been credited off the account. Thank you for your business.

Review: Monday is our normal day for garbage pick up. On Sunday February 1, 2015 we had a snow storm and blizzard in [redacted]. where I live. Because of the storm I was unable to get my garbage cans down to the street on time for collection because I had over a foot of snow in my driveway. I was able to clear the snow by 2PM on Monday and took my garbage cans down to the street. I called Advance Disposal who picks up our garbage to let them know that my garbage can be picked up and my other neighbors also have their garbage cans ready to be picked up. The gentleman who I talked with said he will have the driver come back and pick up the garbage. I thought great. I called Advanced Disposal on Wednesday February 4th because the garbage was still not picked up. This time I got a woman on the phone who said there would be a $25 fee to come and pick up our garbage. I said the man I talked with on Monday said they would come a get the garbage and did not mention anything about a $25 fee. She put me on hold so she could talk with the same guy I talked with. She came back and said there will be a $25 fee if they come and pick it up. I said he didn't say anything about a fee and she said there will be a fee.

I said I am not paying the fee so they can just pick up the overflowing garbage on the next Monday.Desired Settlement: To come and pick up the garbage like they said they would originally without the fee! There was no mention of a fee when I talked with the gentleman on Monday.....

Response:

I called Mr [redacted] at 1115 am on Wednesday and explained that normally there is a return trip charge but today we would over look the charge because our customer service rep could not remember if he told the customer about the charge. Mr [redacted] stated that he was happy with our service otherwise. And that his and the neighbors trash and recycling were still out for pick up. Thank you

Review: [redacted] is a learning center and state run and aided preschool provider. Advanced Disposal has handled our waste management needs. Being run by the State we have certain regulations and policies we must follow. One of them is not having the type of trash we do (dirty diapers, food waste, etc.) on our property for an extended amount of [redacted]e. We recently had a representative from Advanced Disposal come meet with us in Feb and we signed a 3-year contract agreement with them for the waste management service to be picked up weekly. Since Feb our garbage (both trash and recycle) has been missed numerous [redacted]es. We accumulate trash quickly with the size of the center and amount of children we have so this becomes an issue right away. This causes us to have to pile trash around the dumpster which doesn't allow us to close the gate giving children the ability to go into that area. Or we stack it in our garage, both options are a huge health and sanitation problem. We have contacted the representatives each [redacted]e this has happened. We have gotten no customer service or even an acknowledgement that this is an issue and why we need our service to not be missed. We asked to be let out of our contract without having to pay the excessive early cancellation fee due to their service not being performed. They denied our request multiple [redacted]es but said moving forward this issue will not happen again and if it did I would take the next steps to get out of the contract due to their breach of contract. That situation happened two weeks ago and they already missed us again this week.Desired Settlement: Our contract with Advanced Disposal is supposed to run until Feb 2017. I would like them to have to let us terminate this contract without having to pay a fee over $2000 and let us look elsewhere for a service that will take care of our needs better.

Review: Advanced Disposal have failed to pick up recyclable for two continuous recycle periods.Desired Settlement: Pick up recyclables

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted],I deeply apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused, with your recycling not being picked up. I have spoken with our Route Managers to ensure that this will not happen again in the future. Please feel free to reach out to us with any additional questions.

Review: Our account had a past-due balance on it and when I called on 10/3/14 and spoke to a [redacted], I was told that $145.00 payment would need to be paid in order for our trash services to continue and that the total amount due on the account was $266.90. I paid the $145.00 and our trash was still not picked up. I then called and ended up speaking to [redacted] again who this time told me I misunderstood her and that the account was closed for collections now and that in order to open it back up I needed to pay an additional $40 re-connection fee and 3 month service upfront.

Speaking with [redacted] this time around made me feel like she was trying to "push" off her error in stating that only $145 had to be paid to start up service again as though I "mis-understood" her.

I do not feel that I should have to pay for the re-connection fee, which a supervisor did state they would waive, or the 3 months service up front as I was not aware that the account was closed in collection status.

Ever since we've started receiving services from Advanced Disposal in [redacted], there have always been some sort of issue. They would forget to pick up our trash and then charge us extra for the additional bags due to the missed pick up. I would just pay the extra small amounts, but now this is just the topping on the cake so to speak and enough is enough. It always seems as though they are constantly looking for ways to apply additional charges for the consumer to pay.

I am willing to work with Advanced Disposal by them waiving any additional fees and the 3-month service payment in advance and I in return will pay the remaining past due amount, which was communicated to the supervisor that I spoke with, but they are not willing to agree, thus my complaint.Desired Settlement: Advanced Disposal will clear the account balance and will re-instate the service with no additional charges due to all the issues.

Business

Response:

After speaking to the manager this morning, this customer has been one that has not paid her bill regularly since the end of 2012. We show calls dating back to December 2012, through out 2013 and now most of 2014 regarding late payment, suspension and collections. I do believe there was a miss communication between her and our customer service department and it was not clearly told to the customer that her account at the time was suspended and would be going to collections if not paid. So, by the time she called again the account was in collections because we did not receive payment. We do require that any account that is closed due to collections pay a $40 reinstate fee and three months prepayment. As of 11/19, this customer has paid what is required and service is going as usual. If there are further issues with this account, I’ve instructed our customer service department to contact me.

What Is wrong with this company!!?? They were great when we were signing up and now they won't get our trash! They keep telling us they'll be out this day or that day and they won't come! Meanwhile our dumpsters are packed full. Shotty customer service but I'm sure they'll expect payment in full when the bill is due. Good luck. Horrible company. If you need dumpster service, go elsewhere. This is not a company you want to deal with.

If you are looking for a garbage company who provides the services you pay them for I would look elsewhere. Beware that this business was contracted with our residence and 3 other residence in our neighborhood to give weekly garbage pick up. In the past 3 months on 3 occasions our garbage was not picked up until 4 days after scheduled weekly pick up and only after we called to complain. All 4 of us cancelled with Advance disposal and were told our bins would be picked up last Friday. It is now Tuesday and we being told they will be picked up next week! 3 messages by me have been left for managers and never returned. Awful company with awful service.

Review: Myself and multiple homes on our street did not have garbage picked up by Advance Disposal on December 18, 2014. When I contacted Advanced Disposal they informed me that it was due to our trash being in a Superior or Johns disposal container. I informed the gentlemen named [redacted] from Advanced Disposal that I have been using the same container for 8 years and they still refused to pick up. Recently Advanced Disposal has lost their Garbage Disposal contract with the City Of Pewaukee and have begun to take it out on the residents. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like Advanced disposal to pickup the trash to fulfill their commitment.

Business

Response:

The individual is utilizing competitor containers that

render them unsafe to service by work crew. The containers that are being

utilized are designed and weighted to be lifted by a mechanical arm. The service that is currently provided

through 12/31/14 is a manual service.

This being stated the container and contents render the cart too heavy

and unsafe to lift. If attempted could

cause harm to the employee in the form of an injury.

Thank you

Review: I paid for 3 months service in advance. On 5/11/14 I called and left a voice mail that they were being fired after the scheduled trash pick up on 5/15. Their drivers repeatedly forgot to make pick ups at my residence and I decided to hire a different company. I also submitted an online form through their web site that informed them that they were being fired and to please return the balance of what I have paid them in advance. I never heard back from them and called on 5/22 to confirm receipt of my online form and was told that someone would contact me the following week. They never did. I filled out an online form again on May 30th and told them my plan was to contact you. They left a voice mail on 6/2 that said I would have my money within a week. It's 6/12 and I have not been reimbursed. It shouldn't be this difficult to get MY money back for a service no longer being provided.Desired Settlement: I would like the full 3 months back to compensate for all the missed pick ups and the time and energy spent to get MY money back

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: My wife and I were the owners of [redacted] ("[redacted]"). As the owners of this business, we entered into a contract for waste disposal services with Veolia, a prior entity of Advanced Disposal ("AD"). [redacted] ceased doing business in April of 2008, at which time we contacted Veolia to inquire about our options to terminate the agreement. Veolia advised us that our only option was to reduce service to one collection per month, which would be reflected in the billing. I agreed to that change because even though the business closed we could still use garbage collection services. [redacted] is still being billed today, even though it ceased to exist over six years ago. At some point collection returned to twice a month, with a corresponding increase in our monthly bill. When I contacted Veolia to inquire about this increase in both collection and billing, I was advised that my neighbor, [redacted] Johnson, contacted them and requested a second pickup per month. Interestingly, this neighbor had no authority to increase the pickup schedule or otherwise change the terms of our agreement with Veolia. She was not a party to the contract, was not in privity of contract with either party, and should not have been able to even discuss the account, much less change the terms of the agreement. Irregardless of this fact, Veolia not only spoke with her about our account, it also changed the terms of our agreement without contacting or otherwise advising me, the only other party in privity of contract with Veolia.

In September of 2014, I contacted what is now known as AD to terminate the contract. [redacted], a representative of AD, advised me that the only way termination was possible was if we paid over $500. AD did offer to reduce our monthly pickup to once per month, but only if we signed a new 3 year agreement. This is surprising, because pickup never should have increased to twice per month in the first place. As indicated above, the only reason pickup increased from once to twice per month was based on a request by a third party with no actual, apparent, or implied authority to request the increase!

In October of 2014, the service became abysmal. Today is November 29, 2014, and the last pickup occurred on October 16, 2014. That is 45 DAYS with no service! I called AD on November 13 to request a pickup. A customer service representative named [redacted] advised me that AD would send a truck that day and again on November 28th. In response to my continued complaints, the representative said to pay the bill due on November 25 in full, and the following month's bill would reflect a credit for the lack of one of two scheduled October pickups. Even after these repeated promises by AD to perform its end of the contract, it is November 29 and there has not been a pickup since October 16.

I again contacted AD on November 28 and once again spoke to [redacted]. I told [redacted] I felt we owed AD no money for November services because no service had been provided in November. [redacted] said the truck would come out that day (November 28). That did not occur. I asked [redacted] what would happen if AD did not perform its November services until the following Monday, which will be December 1. [redacted] said it would count as a November pickup! I am amazed that AD can extend the month of November into the month of December. To me, it seems clear that if a service is performed in December, it is a December service. Period.

The frustration arises primarily because I, the customer, am the only party being held to the terms of the contract. We pay our monthly bill on time every month as required under the terms of the agreement. However, AD seems to provide services, and thus perform its end of the bargain, at its convenience. This is not what we agreed to. Moreover, it should not fall to the customer to contact the business to remind it to perform its end of the agreement. The past several months have been full of headaches, frustration, and disappointment. My hope is that this Revdex.com complaint will address this continuing issue.Desired Settlement: Our desired outcome is simple: we want to terminate the agreement at no charge. While AD stated termination would cost over $500, we reason that since we've paid for two pickups per month for the past several years, an extra pickup we never agreed to, any termination fee must be waived.

Business

Response:

Advanced Disposal has closed this customer’s account with no balance owed and no additional charges will occur. Also, I would like to note that we did not increase their service because we took instruction from a neighbor. I myself increased their service level for internal trucking purposes only, with no additional cost to the customer. I did this to ensure this customer would not get missed on the driver’s route sheets, and only for that reason.

Review: my complaint is advanced disposals policy for the way they now handle recyclables on private roads in muskego. they refuse to pick them up unless they are bagged. they are then thrown on the back of the same truck with the trash. are these recyclables going to the landfill with the trash? maybe the wisconsin dnr should check this out. we have never had to bag our recyclables since the law was enacted in 1990. why now? waukesha county promotes a no sorting necessary policy on recyclables. they do not say,but if you live on a private road in muskego, you must bag your recyclables. the city of muskego has never informed me I must bag them. I believe they should be kept separate from the trash at the point of pickup. a simple, common sense solution to this is to put a recycle container with a hinged cover on the back of your truck to keep things separate. a hinged cover would insure thy would not blow out onto the landscape. it would also be less labor intensive by not having your driver separate things at the landfill, saving you money. a small investment to insure our recycling laws are being followed. common sense,a thing lacking in america today. your new policy makes it easier for you,but I know for a fact more recyclables are going to the land fill because of your changes. I know of several residents who will no longer recycle because of your changes. I will to continue to recycle, not only because it is the law,but because it is the right thing to do for the environment. but I will no longer put them at the end of my driveway for you to pickup unless you can prove to me they are not going to the landfill. actual proof, not just someone from advanced disposal telling me oh but we separate them at the landfill. I have found lots of places where I can recycle for free and even places which will buy them. so if you can not give me absolute proof they are not going to the landfill,I will handle my own recycling, and will not pay you for a service you are no longer providing me.Desired Settlement: desired outcome is stated in my complaint

William Lewis from Advanced Disposal called me on 6/28/16 (nice guy). He told me I would not have to bag our recyclables and he assured me they are being recycled. As a long as Advanced Disposal follows thru on what William told me, my complaint has been resolved to my satisfaction. Thank you

this trash company is not reliable. A few months back, my trash was not picked up and I called to ask why and all they would tell me was that they had to pull their truck from the area. I ask if they would be sending a truck to get the trash and they said no that it would be picked up on the next trash day. my next trash day was 2 weeks from then. Now, Monday was president's day and my trash day is Tuesday so I waited till today to see if they were going to pick up the trash but no they didn't. I work long hours and when I called the office was closed but I left a message for them to call me tomorrow and explain why the trash hasn't been taken
