Air Command Reviews (86)

Mr [redacted] placed a negative review on us and said how he had to pay another vendor about the same cost of our quote for a coil clean - which was $ Why is he asking for $350? Mr [redacted] was informed that our tech felt the blower motor might be going out, however the coil was dirty - which causes all parts to run harder when the system can't breathe properly We can not warranty out parts that "may be" failing The manufacturer tests all parts that come back So we needed to verify all obstacles were eliminated to verify the blower was bad He refused our quote, which is up to him He hired another vendor to come out That again was his choice In his negative review of us, he states that the blower WASN'T bad The problem has something to do with the Air Handler that was done by the previous homeowner So this complaint is not valid He has is right to not be happy with our diagnosis, however Air Command does not owe Mr [redacted] any money

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I was uncomfortable with Air Command doing the repairs because when the technicians came to my house on Tuesday 7/8/2014, they were very unprofessionalThey did tell me that they made a mistake and would replace the incorrect RTXV that they installedWhen I started to question them about them putting the wrong refrigerant in my system (R22) they got very defensiveThey said we don't even know what refrigerant is in your unitI then told them my receipt states it was low on Rand that was what I paid forI then asked them for a refund because I should have been charged for R410A refrigerant(which costs less.) Iwas then told that I would not get a refundI then told them that they had scammed meThe one technician then yelled out to me that I was sick and then they both stormed out of my houseSo that was why I was uncomfortable with them coming backI then called [redacted] (***) to let them know what had happened and asked if I could have another company do the repairsThey told me that they would have to send the information to client relations to research and it could take up to hours for a responseI kept calling back [redacted] and was not getting anywhere with themI finally surrended & just decided to have Air Command do the repairs because I had no choiceI had been without AC since July 3, No one seemed to care that my AC was only cooling to degrees while I had a baby, other children & dogs in my houseOn Thursday 7/10/myself & my husband kept calling Air Command & leaving messages to get them to come backThey would not return our callsI finally had to call [redacted] to get a hold of them [redacted] also lied to [redacted] saying she called me & left a messageThe phone was by my side all morningNo message.....no Air Command number on the caller IDAnyway they told [redacted] they would have someone out the morning of July 11, The installed did show up to correct the problemHe was very professional & helpful in explaining what he was going to do to correct the problemIt is currently working & cooling at the momentI still am unhappy about not getting my money refundedWhen I spoke with [redacted] I was told that [redacted] from Air Command called them to say that they did make a mistake and they would correct the problem at no cost to the homeownerHe also told [redacted] that I would be refunded the difference between the cost of the Rrefrigerant & R410A refrigerantThe R410A is a lot less than incorrect Rthat I was charged forWhen I spoke with [redacted] she said I will NOT be getting a refundI really think I do deserve a refund after all the aggravation this company has put me throughNot to mention what my electric bill is going to be after having my AC run for a week straight 24/ Regards, [redacted]

My apologies for my not knowing that the unit was on the roof Parts were ordered off the information given Air Command has not been a no-show No appointment was given for Monday, appointment was scheduled for Tuesday, but due to the rain, that appointment was moved

Horrible customer serviceTold By AC technician that I had to schedule a second appointment through [redacted] to complete a service request that was not completed (and an additional $service charge.) after calling AHS I received a call from Ashley at AC who was defensive, extremely rude, and would not reschedule an appointmentShe refused to give me the name of the ownerI will research state board licensing informationI am awaiting a call back from the owner, not holding my breathI would not recommend doing business with this company

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have reviewed the response from Air Command and here is what took place on my end After filing my complaint with the Revdex.com, the owner of Air Command, ***, called me I had left several messages for contact as this was just prior to Memorial Day weekend and I had no AC for the over degree heat I lweft those messages on Thursday May 22nd, Friday May 23rd, Tuesday May 27th, and Wednesday May 28th I only received a call back after my complaint to the Revdex.com was filed, for which [redacted] continued to berate me and telling me I was wrong and that he had the work order from my Home Warrenty comapny rejected due to "Sabotage" I gave [redacted] the chance to reach back out to me on Thursday May 29th as he had hung up on me the day prior After receiving no call back from [redacted] all day, I called my Home Warrenty company ( [redacted] ) and asked the simple question, "Can you tell me what you see about my work order for my AC?" The agent then responded stating "I show that it was completed, but we have not recieved a diagnosis." At that time she reissued the work order to Air Command If what [redacted] calims is correct and they terminated this work order, why did they then reissue this? Since that time I have had [redacted] and [redacted] come out and they have found a leak in my AC which was the reason for the call in the first place They have stated the leak is in the compressor unit and have received outside authorization from [redacted] for the reapir At this time I would like a full refund from Air Command to my fiance Ms [redacted] as they did not complete the work they stated Regards, [redacted] ***

Air Conditioning not working in Arizona is a serious issue I have tenants in the house On July 30th they came and could not repair and were paid $for the callThey said they needed to order a part (which I know is a readily available part)They came back days later and still could not fix the problemThey said they would return on Monday August 8th but were a no show (tenant took day off to wait for them) When I called they said they were booked through Thursday the 11thWhen I complained to the home warranty company they said they would come on Tuesday the 9thAgain a no-show, and the tenant is waiting again and going out of her mindThey then said they would come back Friday the 12th The tenant was looking for rent deductions and I had no choice but to get another provider who came out the same day

They were on time and professionalI will be sharing thier info to my friends

Keith K [redacted] cancelled service agreement that was part of the quote provided in complete AC system install I did not agree with this and was not given any opportunity to dispute it In addition, work that was supposed to be completed was left unfinished

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me The problem with the air handler, as your technician described as maintenance, was apparently never checked by Air Command last August when the unit was installed, or yesterday, but I found someone who figured it out, probably for about the same $$$ The $was my guesstimate initially I just don't like to for someone to try to sell me something when they are not even sure of the problem You don't owe me anything, nor me you Regards, [redacted]

Waited three days in plus degree heat for them to showWas scheduled for between 1&5pm and had not heard anyone at door and had my phone with me and had no missed calls
degrees on ground floor so I was in basement with fans onCalled owner Miranda who told me that I was not there and would have to call office and make another appointment and that she could not send service tech for another 2-days
We have American Home Shield and they are contracted through this service and we had no alternative but to use this service
Was treated no better than a dog left out in degree heat
They state in their ad that they are Military backgroundI would not treat a brother in arms this way
Unbelievable that these individuals are still in business

Back in April of 2017, I placed a service call with warranty company to have my evaporative cooler looked at They set us up with Air Command and they came out to take a look It was old and rusted out so a determination was made that it would have to be replaced Seeing that it was an older “piggyback” model, I was informed that they would have to remove the old unit from my heat pump and install a separate unit The unit and basic installation was covered by my warranty, however, I would be responsible for any retrofit expenses
When I received the estimate for my expenses (over $900) I reluctantly agreed and they began work When they completed the installation, the unit worked actually worked fine Tempe had a rather mild spring and I was able to run the unit until early June when I had to switch to air conditioning
After switching to my heat pump, I noticed for a couple days the a/c wasn’t working as well as it normally did The nasty heat wave in the area hit in early June where temperatures reached 120+ During that time I noticed that my a/c was running all day and the temperature in my home was climbing
I decided to get in my roof and take a look When I walked past the newly installed evaporative cooler I could feel cold air coming out of it! It was clear that when they retrofitted my ductwork, they did not install a damper of any kind allowing 25% or more of my a/c to leak to the outdoors I had to use trash bags and duct tape to keep my a/c from leaking out of the evap unit
I contacted my warranty company and was told since it was past days of closeout there was nothing they can do and I should contact Air Command
Air Command contacted AHS and passed on to me that AHS does not cover missing parts To make matters worse Air Command said they would send me a COD estimate! Who installs a system where the air flow for two units are not separated!
After going back and forth with both Air Command and my warranty company, I was informed by Air Command that my warranty company would cover the “repair” on the new unit and they would waive the service visit fee……..like they were doing me some sort of favor! In any event they ordered and installed a damper I was able to take the trash bags off the new evap unit and my a/c is working normally again
My next call was to the warranty company to put them on my refuse list
Air Command never apologized, never accountable, just worried about getting paid Terrible customer service and questionable business ethics STEER CLEAR of this company

Thank you for coming out on the Sunday of a holiday weekend to diagnosis the problem with my ac unit and for a quick response to get the part ordered and installedI have recommended Air Command to friends and family before and will continue to do so

I was given Air Command as the A/C service company for American Home Sield, my home warranty company Keith was the epitome of a courteous and knowledgeable service person! He explained the reason that the parts were needed so that I could understand what he was replacing and why He arrived when he said he would and proceeded to test the part he replaced twice before leaving It turns out that two of the parts were defective and he made sure that the one he finally installed was working properly! I greatly appreciate the education I received about the part and have had no issues since that installation*** ***

I obtained this vendor through the SRP/Electric League agreement in April The seervice person told me I needed freon ( $40), a new capacity ($80), inside and outside filter cleaned ($210), a p trap installed ($110) and a hardstart unit ($225) I let them do the freon and capacity but refused the other services at that timeAir Command person then said he would do the p trap for free IF I let them do the other servicesThis made me very suspicious so I called Chas Roberts, the original installerThey came out at no charge to review their install, told me the capacitor should have been a warranty item, the filters were fine, the ptrap was there ( he should me where it was) and that new units had hardstarters but adding a hardstart unit to my year old AC was not cost-effective considering the advanced age of the unit I called SRP about this vendor and am pursuing a complaint with the Electric LeagueI am very disappointed that this vendor took take advantage of my ignorance and cost me money on a warranty item I thought was a maintanence item Maybe he didn't know the fifference either?

I have already submitted a response to this complaint.Mr M*** purchased a unit from us We installed the unit; Mr M*** said that we broke his NEST T-stat; we did not, but instead of disagreeing with the h/o, Air Command purchased a new NEST t-stat at no charge to the h/o, installed it
Once it was installed, h/o still was complaining about the broken t-stat The tech on site was the owner, he decided that he no longer wanted to work with Mr Miller He cancelled the free preventative maintenance agreement (PMA) Air Command can not refund an amount that the h/o was not charged for Mr M*** unit was registered online as promised, so ANY certified HVAC contractor is able to warranty out parts if necessaryIf a customer is combative to the owner, the owner has a right to refuse further service We wish Mr M*** better luck with his next HVAC contractor
