Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Airbnb did not live up to their own policies and procedures nor do they accept responsibility for their properties to adhere to their contracts with them The customer suffers and Airbnb, by their non-response, is showing their true corporate character This should be a warning to anyone using their ‘service.’ Stay in their properties at your own risk - pictures don’t reflect the actual property state or conditions, managers can be untrustworthy and Airbnb takes no responsibility for quality control, safety or contract fulfillment by their managersSincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:(the following is my response to ' [redacted] 's' reaching out to me on 1/23/2018) Sure - I have heard that legalese party line from (now) four Airbnb representatives, but your falling back on this (yet again) does not exonerate Airbnb from its complicity in the practices of advertising and failure to disclose truthfully about your independent agents' properties The timing of your 'defense' is equally illegitimateTrue, I did email [redacted] when we first discovered that her rental property was an unmitigated dump in a sketchy area of [redacted] ; I did so hoping to 'resolve' our transactional issue without engaging anyone else, namely Airbnb talking heads and lawyersIt was [redacted] who chose to escalate my complaint by notifying you of my supposed 'blackmail' attempt And so, your refusal to post my truthful review of [redacted] s' rental property on the Airbnb website - especially in light of the fallaciousness of her online claims of her property's 'quality' and 'location' - does not fit your legal backpedaling: you are using my genial offer to resolve a dispute before the fact, which was outrightly ignored and refused, to validate why you will not post my review after the fact [redacted] chose not to take me up on my offer to resolve privately, so you can not use that denied offer as a reason not to publish my reviewHad she accepted my offer - and then seen it as 'blackmail' - then you would have a leg to stand onAs it is, you cannot have both sides Keep trying Sincerely, Sincerely, [redacted]

Please note that the "Listing on site at time of booking" fraudulently conceals that the booking is for Unit A, and instead misleads the guest that the booking is for the "entire home" It is only after booking that the "Booking Receipt" indicates that the booking is actually for Unit A (not an entire home) "Revised listing after booking" shows the listing that the host now uses to describe the property, specifically disclosing the exact material information that was fraudulently concealed from me at the time of my booking

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: My listing had to be blocked during a prime time period (Spring Break) where I lost quiet a bit of incomeFor the very reason of, the listing kept advertising & continued to remove the price I would input! The listing was advertised at an extremely low price & even with the help of there managers, setting the price at what I wanted, the listing wouldn't remain at my asking price! Some how, they claimed to not have an explanation for it! I would get a slue of calls, for quiet naturally everyone wants to rent a complete private exclusive apt $31-$a day! It doesn't matter to AIRBN because they will get paid no matter what! My qualm is, if they can't explain it, it could happen again! Even if I do create a new listing, which is what there solution to the problem wasI plan on going over to VRBO, Vacation Rental By Owners, I can't and will not continue to contribute to an agency which whom I question there integrity!
