Alcon
takes reports of complaints from our customers very seriously. Upon
receipt of Ms*** complaint, we immediately contacted our rebate vendor
to obtain information
concerning her rebate submission. Based on the
information received from our Rebate Vendor, we have asked that Ms*** rebate
submission be validated and she receive payment. Ms*** should be
receiving a Visa Prepaid Card within the next weeks
Alcon
values each customer and strives to deliver excellent customer service.
We regret that Ms*** had a less than optimal experience with our rebate
processIf she has any further concerns, we ask that she please call our
Consumer Care Line at 1-800-757-and they will be happy to assist

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
Alcon claims to have provided a copy of the form documentation with their response that contains the specified dates but nothing was actually attached to the letter
Further, as stated in my original complaint, at no point did the company contact me to disabuse me of the (APPARENT) erroneous notion that my second rebate fell outside the alleged eligible timeframeIf this case was so "cut-and-dry" and the rebate terms so apparent, then why was the rebate not simply disallowed during the internet live chat with THEIR customer service agent INSTEAD of being told by THEIR customer service agent that the rebate would be processed? Why was the onus on me to repeatedly contact Alcon?
Even if they actually provide documentation at this point, I do not intend to ever purchase lenses manufactured by Alcon (or any of its subsidiaries) ever again as this is NOT how a company should treat a lifelong customer like myselfLoyalty repaid with brusqueness and misinformation is no way to conduct a business - regardless of size or market-share

July 2, 2015Thank you for the opportunity to respond to complaint # ***Alcon understands Ms
*** frustration with the fact that the sales associate failed to inform
her of the conditions of the rebate, however Alcon only controls the message
that is on the rebate itself. Alcon does not control the messages relayed
or not relayed by sales associates of another company. Alcon takes
patient safety and product satisfaction very seriously and therefore makes best
efforts to ensure patients are using the lenses properly, including using the
lenses in accordance with current prescriptions. This is part of the
reason why we have a 90-day limitation on our rebates Again, we appreciate Ms
D*** loyalty to our lenses over the last several years. Alcon
believes that it has addressed MsD*** complaint, and that Alcon’s actions
are in accordance with the explicit terms and conditions of the rebate.
Accordingly, Alcon believes that no further action is required Sincerely,Alcon Laboratories

9-14-17 Hello,Reaching out to our Rebate Group for research, the following information was discovered: Purchase date was 6-16-2017, rebate submitted on 6-30-2017. The claim was placed on hold because an eye exam was not submitted, which is a requirement of
the Terms and Conditions of the rebate claim. In addition, the purchase invoice for contact lens shows only a dollar amount, it does not provide the Brand of contacts purchased, nor a quantity, which is a requirement of the Terms and Conditions of the rebate claim.
