Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Please find attached a spread sheet used by [redacted] ( the Seles representative of Best Version Media) that she has used while she was briefly explaining the terms of the agreementIt is hand written by [redacted] herself and Clearly does not show that payments supposed to be monthlyIt only shows that there is a charge of for years, as she also verbally explained to meThe contract was prepared by her afterwards and presented to me after I was told it is going to be a for years ( NOT monthly of for years term contract term!) Trusting [redacted] and her prior explanations I was asked to quickly sign the agreement without even having a slight doubt that information provided by the sales representative of Best Version Media would be misleading or untrueI underline again that I have reported this incident as soon as I was charged with the second month charge ( thinking that the first payment was a prepayment in full for the entire years ) and obviously I would not be placing a complaint about this situation if I was explained properly that the charges are monthlyA person trying to back away from a contract is unlikely backing up right after signing a contract but sometime down the roadI have reported this issue to [redacted] demanding explanation right away and was turned down by both [redacted] and Best Version MediaAs a matter of fact Best Version Media head office did not even attempt to contact me to hear my side of the story, they did issue however a threatening letter from they lawyer demanding future payments, hence I find BVM customer service very poor and find BVM having a poor and unfair business practicesI am a victim of a scam here and feel taken advantage of by a big company that chooses to threaten its clients with Lawyers rather than recognize misunderstanding and try to have it resolved in a fair wayAny good ,reputable company would have some trust in its clients complaint and would show care for its customers instead blindingly believing an untrue story of its ( commission based pay) sales representativeI would never do business with BVM and will definitely spread the word about what kind of sales scam they are Regards, [redacted]

This client signed a valid and enforceable contract to advertise in one of our monthly magazines for months The client chose the 36-month option because it would give her the greatest discount on advertising At no time was the client told that the contract was cancellable or not binding Like most businesses, we make decisions based on the expectation that our clients will live up to the legal promises they have made according to the terms of the contracts they sign We have worked tirelessly with this client to satisfy her We assisted her in redesigning her ad at no charge We gave this client a cover story to increase her visibility at no charge We also gave this client the opportunity to write “expert” articles for the magazine at no charge (this is normally a large up-charge for “expert” clients) She said she was “too busy” to write any articles We know based on experience that these expert articles help boost a client’s credibility and visibility in the area We believe we have gone above and beyond to please this clientIt is unfortunate that this client is not happy but we have more than upheld our end of the bargain Our magazines are full color, beautifully designed, and bring stories and content to local neighborhoods that our readers love This is exactly what advertisers want and the vast, vast majority of our advertisers are extremely pleased with their advertising

This client has been treated respectfully every step of the way She signed an ad agreement for months of advertising (at a discount too) and now refuses to honor the contract she signed We are more than willing to work with her but she has refused cooperate with us in any way If anything, we should file a Revdex.com complaint against her company for refusing to honor a contract they signed But won't do that because that's not how we operate

We are sorry this client appears dissatisfied with our magazine, but we wanted to take the opportunity to set the record straight First, our representative did not miss any appointments with the client, nor did she refuse to return any telephone callsNext, we did not make any guarantees as to when this magazine would go to print For a magazine not yet in print, our agreement clearly states the magazine will not go into print until there is sufficient revenue to start productionAnd finally, at no point has anyone been “irate and threatening” with this client She has been treated respectfully (as we treat all of our clients) at all times Unfortunately, she is refusing to honor the agreement that she signed We have every right to expect her to live up to that agreement

We have respectfully worked with this client to alleviate any of his concerns In return he has sent us offensive emails and left abusive and obscene voicemails His conduct has been extremely unprofessional and is very, very disappointingThis client signed a 36-month agreement to run ads in one of our magazines He received a 30% discount from our advertising rates as a result of the term of the agreement The client reviewed the written ad agreement and signed it He was given a copy for his records and for future referenceThe client later expressed some concerns about the length of the agreementA few days after that the client was offered terms for an amended agreement that would shorten the length of the agreement All that was needed was to memorialize the changes in writing Later, the client refused to sign any changes to the agreement and became profane and verbally abusive We have done everything we can with client and he will not have any of it Despite his belligerence, we are willing to work with this client to provide the advertising he contracted for

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint I was not treated with dignity and respect by the [redacted] I feel that Best Version Media provides a substandard service at a high expense They would have never treated me this way had they not locked me in to a contractSincerely, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below There are many legal ways to back out of a contractI gave notice in writing before print startedThe magazine has not even started printing yetI was tricked into signing a contract"Sign my screen if you are a little interest," and then a contract appeared, "now you are with us months I will email you a copy of the contract." This was signed under duress and pretenseFurthermore this company knows I do not want to advertise and have now attempted (unsuccessfully) to charge my cardWhat a bunch of scammers I won't be responding to Revdex.com any furtherI will be filing a class action law suitThis one be the last dealings they have with me Regards, [redacted]

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me The business has agreed to cancel the contract Regards, [redacted]

(Note: This client is likely not going to find the answer agreeable, however, by every stretch the Revdex.com should accept it.) The client signed a contract with us for months with full disclosure that it is a binding contract Advertising, by its nature, may take time to work, especially in the nature of branding and content marketingWe are confident the client will do well as the contract continues and we will do all we can to increase exposure via a redesign of the ad and/or the possibility of additional opportunities for content at no chargeWe will also follow up with the direct contact to ensure that they are dropping off the magazine each month (the contract does not require a drop off but we highly encourage it)The bottom line, is that we are honoring our end of the contract (all ads have run as scheduled) and the client is obligated to do the same

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below First I was this was for one year from the time I signed and was never informed by Robert [redacted] that this was unbreakableHe in fact said that if this did not work for me he will be more than happy to cancel that he did not want any unhappy client that it was not good business to do soSince that can create a bad reputation for him and his business I trusted him and went ahead and signedNow, when I wish to cancel his attitude and story changedI do not have $per month to spend on advertisement that that I have to create for Robert and his company every monthEspecially when is not bringing me any businessThis situation is very convenient to them when I have to do all the work they just print and put it on their little magazineIt is all very convenient for them and not for me at allMore so when I am not receiving any leads at all Rob does drop off the magazine here at the office when I am not here, he never goes out of his way to make sure that I am satisfied with his services and the advertisement that they place for meThe times I have asked him if any other of his clients are receiving leads and happy with the magazine he says "The residents Love the magazine" again nothing to do with me and my businessI really feel all they care is about themselves and getting money out of me His phone customer service skills and those of Leah [redacted] have left a very bad impression with me I am not asking for any money backThey did place the add on their Magazine, I just do Not wish to continue with a product that I am so dissatisfied with Please cancel my contract and that will satisfy my request Regards, Janeth ***

This matter has been settled with our client

We don't have much more to add to our previous responseThis client approved the ad he complains aboutWe offered to double the size of his ad in the future as a make goodIn the end, this client refuses to honor the two year contract he signed

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meThis has been resolvedI received my refund from the company todayI am now satisfied with the end result.Thank you for your help in this matter

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I never wanted to have a larger size ad..The sales rep told me she would refund the money. Which I have on text. I paid for 2 ads from my records. The 1st was a up front and they charged me 45 day up front before the ad even hit with no phone number.Second, before the first ad ran they re charged my credit card for the next ad.I told them from the first ad forward to stop advertising. Finally I got a e mail 2 ads later stating that they would stop running ads but I owe them for 2 years of ads.I am asking that they refund my money and quit sending collection letters for over $9,000 and I will remove my complaint on facebook as well as other sites. I have other advertisers that have the same problems as we have and the track record is starting to get out in front of your potential customers.I hope we can drop this so we all can get back to work.Best Regards, [redacted] Reflections Pro Services

I have explained to this company that they are in violation of a future services agreementWhen I brought the statute that applies to this contract, they stated that it did not apply because it was a business to business contractI do not own a business, nor am I an independent contractorNow, they've declared a totally different reasoning to youThey listed the contract under Apple Sport Imports, even though I'm not authorized to sign any contracts through the businessAdvertising is a future service, and that is where I found that they didn't complyIt states that you can cancel a future services contract at any point leading up to the time of contract start date or within two weeks after, which I did

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The client is right in one area I did write one email to the salesman [redacted] and told him he was shady, and did you one curse word That was all I have the email if you would like to see it It was not what they said it was I also never ever left a bad voicemail message If so, they should prove it It never happened They are lying again Not true at all As I stated early, [redacted] told me to not worry about the contract So he didn't have to come back, he said sign it and if you want to cancel or discuss it with me, let him know He is very dishonest, shady used car salesman like I do not accept their terms and canceled in enough time They seem extremely hard up to try and drag this further Why would they want me to advertise with them if I don't want to? Shady people Seem like they have poor ethics, integrity and not honest Almost like the people who pray on elderly people What is the best way to handle this going forward with Revdex.com? Regards, [redacted]

Our renewal terms are clearly stated on our ad agreementThe client gets a copy of the terms when they sign the agreementIn addition, we send a welcome email to the client that clearly states when the initial term ends and when any renewal period would beginClients may opt out of any auto renewal period by sending an email to our companyIn this case, the client received the services they contracted forAn ad was run every month as contracted, and the magazine was published and mailedThat said, we have investigated this matter and have discovered that our local rep was suffering from a medical condition and he was unable to do drop offs and, quite frankly, provide the level of service we expect to provide for our clientsWe have addressed this issue going forwardWe apologize for any inconvenience this client has experienced and will contact the client to resolve this matter

We have investigated this matter and know for certain that this client was treated with respect in every interaction we've had with himWe have no incentive to treat our clients poorlyThis client simply does not want to honor the contract he signedIf we wanted to we could file a Revdex.com complaint against him and his company for failing to pay for services he contracted forBut that's not how we do business

Dear ***,Paul L [redacted] from our office called you today and left a messageWe need more information in order to assist youOn the surface, it appears that we have honored all aspects of our contract with you and that you are basing your complaint on subjective dislikes about the magazineWe make no claims about the number of referrals you will receive when sponsoring one of our magazines and we clearly state that we have editorial rights when submissions are madeWe provide costs and durations when you sign the contractIf there is something more to the situation please call Paul on the number he provided in his voicemailWe would like to find an amicable solution satisfactory to all partiesThank you, [redacted]

When the ad creation process began we went through several proofs in an interactive process with the clientIn the end, we created a beautiful ad for the client, which he approved. The ad included the client’s website address but, unfortunately, accidently omitted the telephone numberWhile
the client approved the ad as designed (without the telephone number), we accepted responsibility for the mix up and provided an ad the following month that was double the size of the contracted sizeThis upgrade was at no charge to the clientDespite this make-good, the client has refused to pay for any other advertisingAs of this writing, the client has received four months of advertising and has only paid for oneWe could file a Revdex.com complaint against this client for non-payment if wanted to, but that’s not how we do business
