I just want to let someone know about The Delta Faucet CompanyThis company is one of a hand full that actually stands behind their productsI inquired to them about how to go about getting the cartridge assembly from a year old tub/shower faucet and they sent me the part free of chargeI was totally shocked!! This company does it right! Whenever I need to buy a new faucet, Delta was the ONLY brand I ever bought and will continue to buyKeep up the great work Delta!!

I recently noticed water leaking from three places between the tub surround and the wall tile in the guest bathroom after a cleaning crew had cleaned the roomI hired American Leak Detection at a cost of $to ascertain the source of the leakIt’s report states “It was determined that the water seeping from the bottom of the tile tub/shower surround tiles into the tub originates from an intermittent leak at the tub/shower valve handle to the escutcheon plate transitionIt appears that there is no gasket at this transition to keep water from migrating through this unsealed transition.”
I am familiar with the trim kit containing the escutcheon plate in question because the same kit was used in the master bathThat kit failed to properly adjust water temperature and Delta / Brizo replaced itThe new trim kit has a permanent foam lining inside the ring transitioning to the escutcheon plateDelta / Brizo obviously realized the older trim kits were defective and changed the faulty part to avoid a leak problem
I contacted Delta / Brizo to ask for $to reimburse me for the cost of the leak detectionMy request was deniedDelta / Brizo claims the problem arose from an installation error even after acknowledging that the faulty part in question had been changed to include a permanent foam leakproof seal
Delta / Brizo Faucet does not stand behind its productsI cannot recommend using trim kits from this company
