I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]We understand the Pascal faucet had a 2yr warranty and is currently a discontinued model.  But, we have had the faucet installed for a mere 5 years.  The companies offer of 70% off a new faucet albeit generous is not what we wish to do after reviewing the models present for purchase.  Our quartz counter was cut for the features of the Pascal and the offered models will not fit the current holes.  The added cost of hiring a plumber to switch out the current smart touch faucet with a new one is not something we wish to pursue, since we were able to remove the sprayer hose ourselves and can easily replace the sprayer hose ourselves.  Since the company was at fault for not issuing a part number to just the sprayer hose, I feel that the faucet with sprayer hose be sent to us and we can remove the sprayer hose and return the faucet with the defective sprayer hose for the cost of return shipping to us.

We were able to locate your case in our records and evaluated the pictures of the product in question. Unfortunately, the finish failure is the result of a...

chemical attack and not a manufacturing nonconformance. We show where you stated you use scrubbing bubbles to clean your faucets and fixtures; that is one of the harshest chemicals you can use and can ruin the finish of any of our faucets over time, thus voiding the warranty. You can actually see the staining on the fixtures from the chemicals and the "chipping' is a result of where the chemicals ate through the top layers exposing the copper finished layer that was turning green. Under normal warranty procedure, given that the finish failure was a result of a chemical attack and not a manufacturing nonconformance, none of the product should have been replaced at no charge. Seeing the faucets were replaced we would recommend you cease using the scrubbing bubbles immediately. Delta Faucet recommends that no harsh or abrasive cleaners be used on our products such as cleaning agents that contain hydrochloric acid (bleach), phosphoric acid and hydrofluoric acid. Even though your showerhead is no longer under warranty Delta, as a one-time courtesy, will send you replacement at no charge. You should receive this showerhead within the next 7-10 business days, if not sooner. In closing, please know that we take extreme pride In the quality of our product and service. Parts and FinishAll parts (other than electronic parts and batteries) and finishes of this Delta® faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the home in which the faucet was first installed or, for commercial users, for five (5) years from the date of purchase.
What We Will DoDelta Faucet Company will repair or replace, free of charge, during the applicable warranty period, any part that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service. If repair or replacement is not practical, Delta Faucet Company may elect to refund the purchase price in exchange for the return of the product. These are your exclusive remedies.
What Is Not CoveredAny labor charges incurred by the purchaser to repair, replace, install or remove this product are not covered by this warranty. Dear Ms. [redacted], Thank you for your continued willingness to see if we can amicably resolve your warranty claim. Just to review where we’re at, it’s important to understand that the warranty Delta provided was limited to repair or replace.  It expressly disclaims liability for labor.  Therefore, Delta has responded to your demands well beyond its warranty obligation.  We have repaired the unit, though you are dissatisfied with that effort.  We have offered to replace it, but you insist on Delta also paying for the labor.  Finally, we have offered to refund the money that you paid for the unit; you have refused that offer. In an effort to try to satisfy your demand, Delta has offered to reimburse you for labor costs associated with replacing your shower unit even though this offer was well beyond our warranty responsibility.  Even then, you are unsatisfied.  When we offered you the amount listed on the receipt you paid for your shower unit from Lowes at $399.05, you insisted on more, saying: “ I am also requesting that you add 10 percent to that receipt because I had a coupon that I used when I bought the shower or replace my coupon so don't send check out just yet.”  When we offered labor reimbursement in the amount of $1,800.00 (determined to be the average cost for a project like this in your locality), you demanded $3000.00.   You insist that labor for removing the shower unit and installing a replacement will exceed $3,000.00.  Let’s find out.  Although we make absolutely no commitment to you to do anything more that refund your purchase, Delta will consider reimbursing you for labor (at an amount to be negotiated) if you provide us with two independent estimates limited to removal of the unit you purchased and replacing it with a new unit of your selection.  If we are unable to arrive at an agreeable compromise, then you can always pursue other avenues (you mentioned arbitration; although there is not an arbitration agreement in place between us, Delta certainly would entertain that option given it would end up with a quick and more efficient means of resolving this disagreement). This is our final offer to you.  If we cannot come to an agreement on this issue then do what you must.  Thank you!Rhea Z[redacted]Consumer Support LeadDelta Faucet Company

I have reviewed the case in our call center database.  The model # you reference is not a valid Delta model #297247 I show this to be the sku at Lowes model #, we do have a series called the Lewiston faucet and they come in two handle options.  Our Model number is the 21902LF-SS.
We have also searched our offices here for product received in for these types of issues, and we are not finding any return of product or a letter from you.
I would be happy to resolve this issue ASAP with the following criteria:  1. photo of the installed faucet in your home. Or 2. Copy of the receipt of purchase.  Unfortunately, we cannot just open our check book without proof of purchase or a faucet returned to us for quality evaluation refunds.  If you can provide this proof, I'll be happy to settle this issue for you.

Good evening I have got 2 estimates from contractors as requested .One estimate is for 2250.00 without cost of replacing shower or shower door and the other estimate was for 2450.00 without cost of shower or shower door.The shower door would need replaced because of the tracks being cut for exact shower and I probably do have receipt on shower door if needed.I am requesting the 2450.00 plus refund on shower what I would have paid without coupon or another coupon.I am also requesting refund on shower door.I Would also like for you to know that you told the Revdex.com my shower had been fixed but I was not satisfied Well while getting the estimates for you from the contractor  They pointed out that not only was that a messed up job but the shower has already cracked again in 2 more spots.As long as they are cracks in this shower this cannot be used!I know that evidently you feel like you have been generous lol but This has caused a lot of stress and aggregation and I wouldn't want to go through this again for 10000.00 if you don't like my offer you are more than welcome to hire PCI and they will hire someone to give estimate Thanks

I just want to let someone know about The Delta Faucet Company. This company is one of a hand full that actually stands behind their products. I inquired to them about how to go about getting the cartridge assembly from a 15 year old tub/shower faucet and they sent me the part free of charge. I was totally shocked!! This company does it right! Whenever I need to buy a new faucet, Delta was the ONLY brand I ever bought and will continue to buy. Keep up the great work Delta!!

Ms. [redacted], Unfortunately, Delta Faucet company has not manufactured this model since 2006 when it was obsoleted from our product line. Since we are no able to replace the faucet you have, we would be happy to refund your money.
