March 13, 2015 Dear Mr*** ***; Thank you for writing to the Revdex.com in a letter dated3/12/2015, regarding your recent experience with our customer service warranty
department about your kitchen faucet. Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience you have experienced. In review of your case, you are insisting that your faucet is a model number. Unfortunately, we never had a kitchen faucet that was just a model number of after our life time warranty took effect in1995. Is there any way that we can get a picture of the faucet that you have installed and having issues with to me? We need to validate the model to get you the correct parts for the faucet. I also see a date in your case as being 1987, was that the year your house was built? The picture will also show us the number of holes you have for a new installation. I look forward to receiving your pictures. If you need to mail them to me please mail them at Rhea ***; East 111th St; Indianapolis, IN 46280. We appreciate you and your business. Best regards, Rhea ***Consumer Support LeadDelta Faucet CompanyCustomer Solutionsr**@deltafaucet.com317-848- (phone)1-800-551-(fax)

Dear Ms*** ***,
Thank you for your reply, unfortunately without a receipt of purchase we are not able to refund you the $you are requesting. Our warranty covers repair parts to fix your faucetOur only other option would be to have you go out and purchase a new faucet, have it installed. Send us back the faucet in question that is leaking for our evaluation. Understand that reimbursement request are beyond the scope of the Delta Faucet Warranty and will undergo an increased level of scrutiny regarding claimed product failures. Along with this faucet being returned you would need to submit the receipts for both old and new faucets, any labor billings or damage claims, receipt for shipping cost back to us here.
Once, the faucet has been received back and evaluated you will receive a report of this evaluation. If the report shows the faucet to have a non conforming part (s), then and only then would a refund be processed. If the faucet shows to be fine and in working order no refund would be paid outI look forward to hearing from you soonThank youRhea Z***

Dear valued consumer:We want to Thank you for submitting your pictures to us for validation of the faucet. That is great that the model lasted for several years and was a great quality faucet for your family. Unfortunately, this model was not a valid kitchen model that carried our lifetime warranty. All Lifetime warranty started on our models produced after 1995.Delta Faucet did send you a replacement kit of parts to fix the leaking of the faucet at no charge to you as a one time customer courtsey. We consider this case to be closed at this time.Sincerely,Rhea ***Consumer Engagement Team Leader

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The faucet provided by Delta/Peerless arrived today. Unfortunately it is nothing like the faucet we own. It is a very basic chrome single handle faucet. Ours is a significantly better brushed nickel finish. I have attached a picture of our faucet and the picture from the box that arrived today. Clearly they are very differentTo date, Delta/Peerless has yet to correctly identify anything associated with this complaint

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Delta has sent incorrect parts.  AT this time it is going on 3 weeks I have not been able to use my kitchen faucet.  I said nothing about injury.  I need my faucet replaced and fixed which at this time I don't have either.  The parts were selected by the agent that answered my call which I informed them that the faucet they selected from the web site looked different from the one I currently owned.  If Delta does correct this issue and compensate me for the money I am having to spend just to eat which I should be able to do at home with cooking then this complaint will never be resolved!!!!!!  This is Ridiculous!!!!!

Hello,
We still have not yet received or been assured that we will be reimbursed for our purchase. This is unacceptable. Please note that we still haven't received our replacement part, even though we don't need it anymore. The response indicates that we should have received it today. This is just an indication of how poor the warranty service has been. Thank you.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Dear Mr. [redacted], Thank you for contacting the Revdex.com regarding your claim with our company Delta Faucet Company regarding the shower unit in your home.  Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience this has caused you. According to our records you original...

purchased a unit from Lowes in 2006 which was replaced in 2008 by [redacted].  Now the replacement unit from 2008 has cracked.  Unfortunately, we do not make that same unit after purchasing the assets from [redacted] Company in 2013. Since this unit is not repairable, we offered to replace it with something in our line of products today.  According to the original receipt you had a 34” x 48” inch unit.  That is what we agreed to replace your unit with from the sale customer you purchased from originally Lowes. From what I can tell, you have returned this unit back to Lowes.  Not sure why as the measurements from the original 2006 purchase are the same as the replacement unit. After this was done a refund on the original purchased price was sent to you in the form of a check $356.00 dated 6/10/15.  Therefore, at this time we cannot  refund you money that was not paid for on the original purchase. The pricing you are requesting is that of Lowes paperwork to show that the unit was taken from their inventory, and for Lowes use not Delta Faucet Company. Our warranty on the units that you had is below. Limited WarrantyPlease refer to the product label (located on the carton) to outline your model’s limited warranty period. The manufacturer warrants to the original consumer purchaser that its products will be free of defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the limitations, exclusions and conditions that follow, from date of original purchase as shown on purchaser’s receipt. The manufacturer will, at its discretion, replace or repair FREE OF CHARGE except as noted below, during the warranty period, any part that the manufacturer determines to be defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service. The original consumer purchaser must notify the manufacturer in writing of any defect covered by the warranty.THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY MADE BY THE MANUFACTURER. ANY CLAIMS MADE UNDER THISWARRANTY MUST BE MADE DURING THE PERIOD REFERRED TO ABOVE. MANUFACTURER MAKES NO IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. LABOR CHARGES AND/OR DAMAGE INCURRED IN INSTALLATION, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS WELL AS INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CONNECTED THEREWITH ARE EXCLUDED AND WILL NOT BE PAID BY THE MANUFACTURER. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. This warranty is void for any damage to this product due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation, modification, unauthorized repair, or any use violate of instructions furnished by us. Your opinions and comments about your Delta experience are always welcome.  We appreciate them and will share them with our Bathing Product Department for further consideration.Sincerely,[redacted]Consumer Engagement- Escalation LeadDelta Faucet CompanyPhone: 317-848-007Email: [redacted]@deltafaucet.com

Dear Mr. [redacted],
Thank you for your response back to the Revdex.com regarding our fulfilling the warranty claim you made with our company.  Our warranty is for replacement parts not full faucets.  We show that you contact us through the contact us form from our website and put in the model # P188501LF-SS with a purchase date of 01/05/2009.
Since, we have received incorrect information about the faucet you had the complaint on, we will need the following to get this resolved for you.  We will need photos of the faucet you have installed with low flow to better identify the faucet with the issue.  Please submit these pictures to me directly ([email protected]) or mail them to me at Delta Faucet Co.; ATTN: Rhea Zink ; 55 E. 111th Street; Indianapolis, IN 46280.  We will need photos of the faucet from above the sink with the sprayer included in the pictures, and close up to show the words Peerless under the spout.  Without these photos we will not be able to help you any further as we have fulfilled your warranty claim over and above our normal warranty as a one-time consumer courtesy with a replacement faucet.
Unfortunately, the Revdex.com did not allow me to see any photos you may have sent in of the faucet you received.  Please email  or call me directly so that we can get this resolved for you.

Thank you.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
In the response from Rhea [redacted], she said that she would personally overnight these checks via UPS yesterday morning(7/9/15)and would be calling me with the tracking number. I (Mrs. [redacted]) called her approximately 2:30 pm yesterday(7/9/15) to see if the checks had been sent overnight via UPS like she said she would do and what was the tracking number. She said that she had taken the checks down to the mail room and told (them) to overnight the checks and that she still did not have the tracking number for the overnight UPS. She said she would call me back at 4:30pm yesterday(7/9/15) to get more information about the checks, but she never did. I attempted to call her several times and so did my husband, and we only got her voicemail and we left several messages asking her to call us back, but she never called us back. I feel like Rhea [redacted] and Delta Faucet has been stalling and been giving us the run around and not doing what they say they will do.
