Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I was told by the sales person that if I was unhappy with the car or if there was anything wrong with the car I would receive my deposit back. There was in fact something wrong with the car and I was unhappy with it.  In the telephone and email correspondence I had with the manager and sales person before I contacted the Revdex.com I was never informed that my deposit was non-refundable.  I was told that they needed to check with the finance department.  It was only after communication stopped that I contacted the Revdex.com.  I was also told that the car was sold.  So there seems to be no damage to the dealership.  The question that is raised is whether the dealership informed the owner of the damaged I discovered.  There seems to be no dispute that undisclosed damage was found with the car by an independent party, damage that was apparently obvious by an inspection under the car.  I would like my full deposit returned.

Mr. and Mrs. [redacted], bought the [redacted] from Alpha Motorsports on 2/25/2016 and they were aware of previous accident and they signed all the documents, which clearly reads that the vehicle was involved in previous accident. Even after all these, I offered to find them another vehicle...

or/and gave them the option to buy any another vehicle listed in our inventory. I could have told them there is nothing I can do but I didn't, because customer service is our number one priority. Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] paid $30,900 for the vehicle and the KBB or NADA retail book value is close to $36,000. Instead of solving the issue this is what Mr. [redacted] wrote in his e-mail "we will be in contact with the regulatory and consumer protection authorities in Virginia to report the fraudulent actions of your dealership. We also have contacts with office of the Governor of Virginia and will bring this type of behavior to light so that the public can be protected from unscrupulous dealers such as your."
Please review the [redacted] and I have been in touch with my legal department because time after time Mr. [redacted] has been threatening us and accused of committing a "FRAUD" which is completely false.
Thanks
[redacted]

To whom it may concern;      [redacted] agreed to purchase the vehicle "As-Is", I have included copies of the documents which were signed and agreed to on the time of the sale. [redacted] also agreed not to buy extended warranty.  Thanks Khalid A[redacted]

That in incorrect, sayed assured me he would not sell me a vehicle with problems because it would cause legal issues which he nor the company wanted! I was offered a very expensive warranty after the 15 minute spew about why I did not need it. The car had problems immediately. I have proof of taking it to a mechanic as soon as it was purchased. We thought it needed an alignment, however that turned out not to solve the steering issue. The car was still jumping and steering was loose. After taking it to a Chevy dealership and finding we needed a hybrid mechanic the steering and transmission problem were diagnosed. The steering was a danger and needed to be fixed as soon as possible. The transmission will run but it's on its way out so they did sell it to me that way. I will send you all the supporting documentation. Alpha motorsport is selling substandard vehicles to unsuspecting customers and needs to be held accountable.

Regards,
[redacted] Dear, Madam/Sir,
We have reached an agreement to return the car to Alpha Motorsports.  We will return the car on 3/4 and we will get our old car back.  In the end, Alpha Motorsport did the right thing and you can consider this complaint resolved.  Thank you so much for your help

[redacted], customer, bought the [redacted] VIN#: [redacted], from Alpha Motorsports on November 11th, 2015 and I want to point out a few things.
1. Vehicle was sold "AS-IS".
2. We offered [redacted] multiple times the opportunity to purchase...

extended warranty, but each time she refused to purchase extended warranty and she even told the salesperson that she knows a few good mechanics close to her house and they will give her the best out there. 3. At the time of the purchase vehicle had 149,659 miles and now it has more than 151,700 miles, she drove the vehicle more than 2,000 miles before she start having issues.
4. Every car that comes at our lot and before we sell it to a retail customer, our mechanics checks everything and our mechanics drives them at least 10 miles to make sure the vehicle is safe and retail ready.
Conclusion: [redacted], customer, refused to purchase extended warranty, customer agreed to buy the vehicle "AS-IS", customer bought the vehicle which was 100% safe and a few days prior of her buying the vehicle, we took it to a Virginia safety inspection shop and it passed. Customer drove the vehicle more than 2,000 miles and we have no idea what she has done to the vehicle for the transmission and steering column to go bad and the only advice I have for her is to take the vehicle to one of her trustworthy mechanic who gives her the best deal and fix it.  Sincerely  Khalid Azimi, dealer operator of Alpha Motorsports.

My name is [redacted] and I am in charge of Alpha Motorsports and I do apologize for any inconvenience and I want to point out a few things. 1. Our ad clearly mentions that Alpha Motorsports is not responsible for any misprint, usually we use dealercarsearch.com to feed our inventory to other...

sites such as [redacted] or [redacted] and sometime [redacted] can be slightly different when it comes to options, we never mentioned that vehicle came with Navigation, please read the seller notes. I talked with your salesperson and based on him he clearly told you that vehicle had some prior paint job.2. We allow customer(s) to take any vehicle at our lot to a 3rd party mechanic, as long as the mechanic is in 5 mile radius. Thanks[redacted]

Dear [redacted], my name is [redacted] and im incharge of Alpha Motorsports and I am very sorry to hear about your recent experience with Alpha Motorsports. I spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] and I believe you came to buy the [redacted] listing price $27,999 and I do believe...

that you wanted us to price match with [redacted], which is our competitor and our lanlord is the same person. Anyway, I visited [redacted] today and they are selling [redacted] with almost 40K miles for $26,900 so it does not make sense that they will sell a [redacted] with lower miles for a low price, unless it has been in accident or it is rough compare to other ones. If you are still in the market for a [redacted] let me know and I will give you the best price out there, almost at our cost. I will have a serious talk with [redacted] and I will make sure every customer is 100% satisfied in the future.

Dear [redacted], I do apologize for any inconvenience and I will do my best to answer your question(s) you submitted to Revdex.com. Feel free to contact me via e-mail [redacted] for any question(s) or concern(s).
Your credit application was submitted to 3 banks on...

1. [redacted], application denied and the reason was outstanding installment loan balance.
2. [redacted], application denied and the reason was Multiple accounts insufficient.
3. [redacted], appliaction denied and the reason was collection or judgment.
I hope this response covered all your concerns, if not, feel free go in touch with me at [redacted]

My name is [redacted] and I am dealer operator of Alpha Motorsports and here is our side of story. [redacted] left a $1,000 deposit on the 2009 Toyota Sienna and since the vehicle had some electronic issues, we told her that we will drop the vehicle at a Toyota dealership and once we...

dropped the vehicle Toyota told us it is very complicated problem and it will take a few days for them to figure out what is going on with the vehicle, well after 3-4 days we called Toyota and they told us they have no idea what is going on and we told Toyota that we will pick up the vehicle from them, once we went to pick up the vehicle, the vehicle wouldn't start and once the next day Toyota dealership got the car to start but the entire cluster lights and a few other lights stopped working. Ahmad, salesperson, texted [redacted] and told her that since the vehicle is not safe, we will not be able to sell her the vehicle and [redacted] texted back that "Federal government will get involved now". If [redacted] still wants to buy the vehicle, we can sell it, but she must buy it with rejected safety inspection and must agree to all the disclosures. We have already refunded her $1,000.00 deposit and I have attached the receipt, it can take up to 72 hours for the credit to show up. What bothers us is even when we stay as honest as possible, still there are some people, like [redacted], this the opposite. We could have done temporarily fixed but we didn't, we hate to see someone dies or get injures due to unsafe vehicle. We have take the vehicle to [redacted] Fredericksburg and we might lose more than $3,000 by selling it at auction but at least we did the right thing.
Thanks

Review: I went to Alpha Motors in March 2016 to purchase my current vehicle. From the first day I had mechanical issues, I was guaranteed that they would be fixed. After two trips back and forth, and being told that the car had been repaired, it was revealed to me that it still had the existing problem. The line of communication got distorted when all they were seeking was money in addition to me paying my car payment. I sought out assistance from the vehicle dealer board, and the issue was supposed to be resolved; it wasnt. When I reached out to the person who sold me the car ,Shawn, he said I could come, but when I made attempts to get an appointment I was given the run around. Shawn stated that he would give me a Six month warranty on the vehicle. After constant failure to speak with some one on a professional and on a honest level. I received a call back today after making another desperate cry out for help. I purchased my car on a weekend yet was told to come during the week for repairs, after making a scheduled appointment. Today was the last draw when I received the most hateful, nasty, rudest message. They had no intentions of honoring their word to the Law, or to me as a customer. I was asked how did I think I was going to get my car fixed without giving them money owed. When I tried to explain, I was hit with some strong communication that you would get from a street thug. I feel bullied, disrespected ,and taken advantage of and its not right. Later tonight I received a very disturbing message from one of their staff, it is a borderline threat. The fact that they have no integrity or decency how they handle me, I will be going to the law. I dont know if it's because I'm a woman, or a black woman, but I dont think that they should be able to get away with what their doing. I will not continue to supply money to them while they not uphold their end of the deal. All I wanted was for my car to be rightfully repaired and it has come to this. Its really shamefulDesired Settlement: I would like an officer of the law to accompany me to.the establishment to get my repairs, and have nothing else to do with this business. I will make the proper arrangements with the court to pay any future payments. Have them held accountable for their out right neglect of one of their "customers". Anything stated here, I have proof to support it.

Review: Contacted Joe B[redacted] regarding the purchase of a [redacted] on Friday, June 17, 2016. Wanted to visit on June 20th. He told me car might be sold that Saturday and that in order for him to pull the folder I needed to make a deposit. I made a deposit of $500. I visited dealership on Monday, agreed to a price on condition that I have the car independently inspected. I Was told that the car had no accidents on its report and that Alpha could do its own inspection (You would think they would have done that before trying to sell car.) Despite the discouragement I insisted on an independent inspection.

The report by a Honda dealership indicated that there was very significant damage to front end of car and that it had been repaired and painted with non Honda parts. I informed the Alpha dealership that I did not want to purchase the car and wanted my deposit back. After being given the run around for several days by the manager and sales person I was told that I had to document the accident. I sent the report from the Honda dealership that did the inspection and was then told that since there was no mechanical damage I could not receive my deposit back. I replied tat the damage was significant and was informed by the Honda dealership that the damage could have mechanical and warranty implications in the future since non Honda parts were used.

I have not heard any response after repeated follow up inquires.Desired Settlement: I would like my $500 returned to me.

Review: I purchased a [redacted] on February 26, 2015 from Alpha Motorsports. At the time of purchase they provided me with a CARFAX report that stated the vehicle had never been in an accident. Last week when I attempted to trade in the vehicle I learned it was worth nothing because the car had frame damage that was announced at the auction when it was purchased by Alpha Motorsports.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a full refund to put towards another vehicle from Alpha Motorsports at retail value provided I can insure there is no damage to the vehicle.

Business

Response:

My name is [redacted] and I am dealer operator of Alpha Motorsports and on 2/26/2015, purchase date of the vehicle, Mr. [redacted] asked us for Carfax history, which we provided him with and it was clean and even as of today it is clean, the only accident is showing is on November 2015 which was caused by Mr. [redacted] himself. We are not responsible for Carfax history nor we have any authority to access their database to make changes to the Carfax history of the vehicle. We clearly disclosed and made Mr. [redacted] aware of "FRAME DAMAGE" or/and "PRIOR ACCIDENT" and he agreed to buy it because of getting an excellent deal on the vehicle. I have attached documents which was signed by Mr. [redacted]. Even though we disclosed everything, still we offered to buyback the vehicle at fair Kelly Blue Book trade-in value and our offer still stands. Mr. [redacted] never asked us for Autocheck history nor he took the vehicle to do a pre-sale inspection. Thanks [redacted]

Review: First let me start by saying this company is not accredited by the Revdex.com. They should be enough to send you the other way. There are plenty of cars in the area. They seem very nice when you are dealing with them. After they sale you the car and your out the door they are done with you. My problem is that I purchased a [redacted] from them. I drove about 100 miles to get the vehicle. Once I got it home the 4 wheel drive did not work. They told me that I should have bought the warranty. I told them I bought it from you the day before. I could not get back to the dealership to cancel the contract. So they failed to help me out with that problem. Another issue- In our contract they wrote that they would send me the headphones for the [redacted] system. I have talked to them multiple times as well as communicated through email. They told me they sent them on three different occasions. I waited over a week each time. No head phones. In my situation the [redacted] at this facility was not a man of his word and I don't think he was concerned about me as a customer.Desired Settlement: I would like them to be honest on their reply to the Revdex.com and say they don't care about the customer after they sell the car. And send me the headphones they promised in writing in the contract.

Re: Revdex.com case # [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern:

[redacted] purchased a [redacted] which had close to 129,000 miles and things can go wrong with used vehicles, especially with high mileage vehicles. When he was at our dealership he checked the 4-wheel drive and all other components of the vehicles. When he was at our dealership he checked the 4-wheel drive and all other components of the vehicle prior of buying it and the only reason he brought the vehicle because it was a super clean and mechanically everything was good with the vehicle. We offered him to buy an extended warranty which he refused and it is our company policy to sell all of our vehicles “AS-IS”. He purchased the vehicle on 2/23 2013 and on 2/28/2013 we ordered set of headphones from[redacted] and it was shipped directly to him at [redacted]. I have [redacted] other forms which clearly proofs that Alpha Motorsports was not at fault in any way. [redacted] contacted us regarding 4-wheel drive a few months later and he contacted us regarding the headphones a few days ago, it would have contacted the next day regarding the 4-wheel drive, we would have helped with repairs.

Sincerely,

Review: On Tuesday, February 23, 2016 I put down a $1000 deposit on a vehicle. I explained to the gentleman that I needed the vehicle to pass MD inspection. After test driving the vehicle, I noticed that there were several issues with it. The dome lights did not work and the alignment was messed up. I was informed that the dealership would have these fixed and it would be ready for pick up that Saturday February 27th. When I went up on Saturday, they informed me that the vehicle was over at the Toyota Service Center being fixed and that it should be ready by today. I sent a text message asking for a status only to find out that the service center still had the vehicle. I then looked up and saw that a listing on [redacted] was done 5 days ago--2 days after I put down a deposit on the vehicle. I contacted the Toyota Service Center to find out that the vehicle was never dropped off there. The dealership still has my $1,000 deposit and has completely lied to me. I have wasted two tanks of gas driving up there and have not yet received the $1,000 deposit back.Desired Settlement: Refund the $1,000 deposit and $5 for the cost of the certified check and a gift card for $100 due to the tanks of gas I wasted as a result.
