Review: Had spoken to [redacted] for a week, described my trade in and had numbers worked out. He said he used [redacted] trade in and I have proof of him saying this. After driving for 6 and a half hours he decides to offer me $3000 less than [redacted]. I had a cashiers check in hand, title for my car and had put down a deposit. What a waste of time and money.

This was the worst experience I have had with a dealer. First they waited to pay the trade in off until it was about to go on my credit report it took me calling multiple times before it was done. I was told there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. My wife and I took it for a ride and liked it so we did all the paper work.We walked out with our kids got in the vehicle went to leave pulled out of the parking lot and the service all wheel drive light came on so I turned around and Ahmad said don't worry we will fix it we take care of our customers. WRONG they asked us to drop it off to let radley take a look at it before thirty days. This is our only vehicle and we have 3 kids.Ahmad said it will be ready tomorrow.WRONG 11days later and multiple phone calls finally talked to a manager Shak. Shak said we will put a new sensor in and the wiring harness that controls it. Ok so I thought it would fix it.WRONG then Shak said it needs a rear differential and that is going to cost you $800. I'm a working man that doesn't have that kind of money set a side for a vehicle I just purchased from them.Shak said we are not making enough money to cover that your trade in needed work as well. They test drove the trade in as well I guess its all about money not customer service . I am very unhappy with the whole experience. Now I have an all wheel drive that is only front wheel drive and has the service light on.The reason I picked this vehicle was because it was all wheel drive.AGAIN THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH A DEALER AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED THEM TO ANYONE. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED

Review: When I arrived, [redacted] was pleasant. When we began to discuss price, [redacted] was very rude, argumentative and there was no customer service. I was given mixed messages and incorrect information. All of the salesmen were argumentative and provided me with incorrect information. [redacted] gave me an attitude after telling me that Alpha Motor Sports matches competitors prices within a 100 mile radius, and I requested a price match. He told me Alpha Motor Sports also owned the other dealership ([redacted]) with a lower price. I was then told by another salesperson that [redacted] is their competition. I was told that Alpha does not negotiate, however the sticker price on the car was different than the online price. [redacted] was slightly more professional but was also guilty of being argumentative and contradicting himself. [redacted] first told me that Alpha matches prices within a 100-200 mile radius. He then later said that Alpha does not match prices and that [redacted] misspoke. I guess [redacted] forget that he misspoke as well. At one point there were 3 men arguing with me. [redacted] was so rude that I requested to work with someone else. I did get the impression that if I were a male, this would've been handled differently. My sister later called and requested to speak to a manager. That request was met with "I'll take your info and he'll call you." Still waiting on that phone call.....Desired Settlement: I would've liked the dealership to match the price based on the information they provided. I do not want to do business with this dealership, I'm simply putting the information out there for consumers to be aware.

Response:

Dear [redacted], my name is [redacted] and im incharge of Alpha Motorsports and I am very sorry to hear about your recent experience with Alpha Motorsports. I spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] and I believe you came to buy the [redacted] listing price $27,999 and I do believe that you wanted us to price match with [redacted], which is our competitor and our lanlord is the same person. Anyway, I visited [redacted] today and they are selling [redacted] with almost 40K miles for $26,900 so it does not make sense that they will sell a [redacted] with lower miles for a low price, unless it has been in accident or it is rough compare to other ones. If you are still in the market for a [redacted] let me know and I will give you the best price out there, almost at our cost. I will have a serious talk with [redacted] and I will make sure every customer is 100% satisfied in the future.

Review: I contact Alpha Motorsports on several occasion trying to cancel my extended warranty and they keep giving me the run around. The agent told me that I couldn't cancel the warranty so I called the Warranty company to confirm, because it was my understanding that I had 30 days to cancel. I've decided that I don't want to purchase the extended warranty and it seems like they don't want to cancel it. I only have a few more days to resolve this issue before my time expires. When I called [redacted] # [redacted] ext [redacted] they told me that my haven't cancelled my warrant and that Alpha Motorsports had to cancel it. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I want them to cancel my extended warranty and give me my money back.

Response:

I will go a head and cancel the warranty and I will issue a full refund, the refund will be mailed to the lien holder and everything should be done in 5-7 business days.

Review: Note the owner of this location has another location under this Revdex.com link[redacted] My primary complaint with Alpha Motorsports is some work they did on both my cars that resulted in the need to have them both go to the dealer to correct problems they created with their fuel system services.Specifically, I allowed them to do a fuel system clean that they recommended in order to return them to their proper fuel economy ratings. The clean resulted in erratic and excessively high idle which impacted drivability and reduced mileage by at least at least 15%. A goggle search on the symptoms revealed that this had happened before (generally when they disconnect sensors that then have to be recalibrated to regain normal operation). My dealer conformed that that the symptoms I described would require a recalibration. I have since brought in both cars to have them reprogrammed. The 1st car ([redacted]) is back to normal, the 2nd car ([redacted]) is still being worked on. History: When I called Alpha Motorsports just a few days after buying a vehicle from them, I complained that it was getting horrible mileage. They said the car (It had 105k miles ion it) would be back to normal with their fuel system clean. I was skeptical, but they were convincing and adamant that their procedure woru work (they had just signed up to use [redacted] process)When they were nearly complete with the 2nd car, they informed me it may have to relearn how to idle, and if it couldnt, it would need to have to be recalibrated. Unfortunately, this was told to me after the service had been performed. Since then, Ive also learned that the [redacted] they just sold me has a trouble code indicating it needs a expensive Timing chain upgrade. The car had a check engine light when I test drove it, but they resent it and said it was due to the gas cap not being tightened. This is not related to the primary complaint, just some extra informoDesired Settlement: So for the expenses to correct the CARS calibration has been $118 [redacted], and $118 [redacted] done at [redacted] in [redacted]Service Advisor [redacted] can conform the need work performed and I can provide Receipts. This does not include loss of use for 1 day each, the rides needed to take each car down, and the decreased mileage for the last week.Total a conservative $300If the car does not regain the mileage as promised, then would like the $180 service fee back as well.

Mr. [redacted], bought the [redacted] from us and a few days/week later he called "[redacted]" and mentioned that he is not getting EPA estimated gas mileage and "[redacted]" was nice enough to offer him a free ** fuel injector service for the [redacted]. I spoke with my mechaninc "[redacted]" and he told me that he did mentioned to Mr. [redacted] that he might need a re-callibration after fuel injector service. Mr. [redacted] decided to get a fuel injector service on his [redacted] as well, it was his sole decision, other places charges up to $600 for a fuel injector service and we charged him around $200-250 for his [redacted] and for the [redacted] it was free. We tried to help Mr. [redacted] and in return we got a complaint from Revdex.com.

My name is [redacted] and I am in charge of Alpha Motorsports and I will do everything in my power to solve your problem but I want to point out a few things.1. [redacted] signed a "frame damage/unibody" form, which I have attached to this e-mail.2. [redacted] clearly read and signed "BUYERS GUIDE" which clearly mentions that used vehicle might have frame-cracks, corrective welds, or rusted through, Dog tracks-bent or twisted frame. 3. [redacted] had an option to have the vehicle checked out by a mechanic in 5 mile radius of our dealership.4. [redacted] was clearly informed verbally and in writing about frame damage or unibody.5. We have no power over [redacted] and they can add, delete or modify any information without any notice, so please contact [redacted] regarding [redacted] history.6. Even today the [redacted] retail value of the vehicle is around $21,000 and back in 7/7/2014 [redacted] paid $22,850 for the vehicle and probably a year ago the book value of the vehicle was more than $25,000 and since vehicle had unibody/frame damage we sold it a lot cheaper that the market value and [redacted] agreed to buy the vehicle and save thousands. 7. We are willing to pay trade-in value, if [redacted] wants us to buyback the vehicle, please e-mail me at [redacted] so we can workout numbers. Thanks

I came here to buy the car of my dreams for my birthday. I am loving my new car! Overall the customer service here is decent and they are very easy going people. The negotiated with me until I was happy. I have been driving my car around for about a month now and loving it. Truly feels like a brand new car, even though it's from a used car dealership.

Review: My wife and I purchased a [redacted] on February 25, 2016 and traded in our car. We were signing 50 documents in connection with the purchase that [redacted], our salesman, put in front of us. The night of the 25th when we were going through the package we saw that [redacted] had us sign a statement that we knew the car was in an accident, we negotiated the price of the car factoring in the damage, and we were given the [redacted] and had the opportunity to have the damage examined. NONE OF THIS WAS TRUE AND WE WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THE CAR IF THIS HAD BEEN PROPERLY DISCLOSED. We contacted the dealership and were told to email the general manager, Khalid A[redacted]. He never disputed that we did not know the car was in an accident, only that he did not have to disclose it. I will attach the email exchanges. He refused to send us the damage report received from the auction company. Ultimately, he refused to return our car and said this would have to be resolved in a "court of law". Currently our car is advertised for sale on his website.Desired Settlement: We would like to get our old car back and return the damaged car. We had asked that he pay for an inspection by a dealer and reimburse us for the diminution in value, but our trust had gone by the time we finished our exchange with Mr. [redacted].

Response:

Mr. and Mrs. [redacted], bought the [redacted] from Alpha Motorsports on 2/25/2016 and they were aware of previous accident and they signed all the documents, which clearly reads that the vehicle was involved in previous accident. Even after all these, I offered to find them another vehicle or/and gave them the option to buy any another vehicle listed in our inventory. I could have told them there is nothing I can do but I didn't, because customer service is our number one priority. Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] paid $30,900 for the vehicle and the KBB or NADA retail book value is close to $36,000. Instead of solving the issue this is what Mr. [redacted] wrote in his e-mail "we will be in contact with the regulatory and consumer protection authorities in Virginia to report the fraudulent actions of your dealership. We also have contacts with office of the Governor of Virginia and will bring this type of behavior to light so that the public can be protected from unscrupulous dealers such as your." Please review the [redacted] and I have been in touch with my legal department because time after time Mr. [redacted] has been threatening us and accused of committing a "FRAUD" which is completely false. Regards,

Dear, Madam/Sir,

Review: I purchased a [redacted] from Alphasports on Saturday September 7, 2013. I traded in my [redacted] during the transaction. I owed [redacted] $13,200 for the vehicle. AlphaMotorSports agreed to purchase my vehicle for $12,000. The remaining balance $1200 was factored into my car loan with [redacted]. I provided the rep with a a 10 day payoff amount of about $13,200. The rep promised me that they would pay off the car loan to [redacted] by Wednesday September 11. I called [redacted] on Monday, September 16 and the loan had not been paid off. I called AMS and asked why. They gave no explanation but said they'd overnight the payment to [redacted] on that day, Monday. They called me back about 30 mins later asking for pay off information even though I had already provided that info on September 7th. I emailed them the pay off information. They again promised to pay off the loan on Monday September 16th. Thirty minutes later, I got a call from a [redacted] rep informing me that AMS had just called them asking for my payoff information and could they provide it. I said no. I called AMS back and told them they had no right to call my bank and inquire about my financial information without my permission especially after I had already provided it to them. They again promised to pay off the loan on Monday September 16th. Today is Thursday September 19th and AMS has not paid off the loan. I called [redacted] to verify. I called AMS this morning and the said the payment had been sent out this morning.Desired Settlement: Alpha Motor Sports needs to pay off the loan for the [redacted] to [redacted] asap.

Re: Revdex.com Case # [redacted]- Alpha Motorsports

To Whom It May Concern:

We had an issue with our software and for some reason(s) the software failed to flag the deals with trade-in and that is why there was a delay on paying off trade-in vehicles. Based on out record the trade-in has been paid off on 9/19/2013, which was still under 10 business days from the day of the trade-in, which was 9/7/2013. We apologize for any inconvenience but under 10 business days shouldn’t be a big deal, especially when [redacted] financed the vehicle. Alpha motersports became the legal owner of the trade-in once [redacted] signed and agreed to trade-in the vehicles and legally we can contract ant financial institution to obtain payoff or get information regarding that vehicle, with or without customer’s permission.

Sincerely,

Review: I traded in my [redacted] at Alpha Motors for a [redacted] on 2/2013 from Alpha Motors car dealership which [redacted] was rolled over into the new loan (42,213.00). I was disclosed with a [redacted] report from the dealer, showing Clean title, and only one minor accident, everything perfect. ( I still have a copy of the [redacted] from the dealer). My wife and I decided to trade the ** for a [redacted] at a local [redacted] dealership on 11/3/13, the [redacted] dealership offered us 21k for the ** because the [redacted] report of 10/3/13 reported " Unibody and Frame Damage". As of now I am at a loss and will be really upside down in this deal if I trade it in at the [redacted] dealer... seeking legal advise ..Desired Settlement: requested total refund of origianl sales price plus negative equity from the [redacted]

Review: I purchased a vehicle 11/6/15. Immediately I started having issues. I have had the vehicle to 3 separate mechanics. Finally finding a mechanic who specializes in the hybrid vehicle. The mechanic said the transmission is bad and the steering column has an issue making it unsafe to drive. The vehicle has had these problems since the time of purchase. I feel Alpha motors put both myself and my family at risk sending us off in a vehicle they knew had these problems. I currently have a rental car until the vehicle I purchased a little over a month ago is safe for my family.Desired Settlement: I wish to have the vehicle repaired at a dealership that has a certified hybrid mechanic and all repairs paid for by alpha motorsport.

[redacted], customer, bought the [redacted] VIN#: [redacted], from Alpha Motorsports on November 11th, 2015 and I want to point out a few things.1. Vehicle was sold "AS-IS".2. We offered [redacted] multiple times the opportunity to purchase extended warranty, but each time she refused to purchase extended warranty and she even told the salesperson that she knows a few good mechanics close to her house and they will give her the best out there. 3. At the time of the purchase vehicle had 149,659 miles and now it has more than 151,700 miles, she drove the vehicle more than 2,000 miles before she start having issues. 4. Every car that comes at our lot and before we sell it to a retail customer, our mechanics checks everything and our mechanics drives them at least 10 miles to make sure the vehicle is safe and retail ready. Conclusion: [redacted], customer, refused to purchase extended warranty, customer agreed to buy the vehicle "AS-IS", customer bought the vehicle which was 100% safe and a few days prior of her buying the vehicle, we took it to a Virginia safety inspection shop and it passed. Customer drove the vehicle more than 2,000 miles and we have no idea what she has done to the vehicle for the transmission and steering column to go bad and the only advice I have for her is to take the vehicle to one of her trustworthy mechanic who gives her the best deal and fix it. Sincerely Khalid Azimi, dealer operator of Alpha Motorsports.

Response:

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

That in incorrect, sayed assured me he would not sell me a vehicle with problems because it would cause legal issues which he nor the company wanted! I was offered a very expensive warranty after the 15 minute spew about why I did not need it. The car had problems immediately. I have proof of taking it to a mechanic as soon as it was purchased. We thought it needed an alignment, however that turned out not to solve the steering issue. The car was still jumping and steering was loose. After taking it to a Chevy dealership and finding we needed a hybrid mechanic the steering and transmission problem were diagnosed. The steering was a danger and needed to be fixed as soon as possible. The transmission will run but it's on its way out so they did sell it to me that way. I will send you all the supporting documentation. Alpha motorsport is selling substandard vehicles to unsuspecting customers and needs to be held accountable.

Regards,

Review: I found the vehicle I was interested in on an internet site by the name of [redacted]. I contacted the seller through the website and was contacted immediately. The sales representative, [redacted], was eager to reach out to me and contacted me several times via email and by phone before I responded. We briefly discussed the process and he recommended that I fill out an application to see what he could do. After that, the level of customer service completely changed. He did not initiate any contact from that point forward. His only communication was in response to the emails that I sent. I was only able to speak with him briefly as his response was always, "Let me talk to my Finance Manager." after constantly being put on hold for 5 minutes or more each call. I was forced to call several times back to back and was put on hold immediately on several occasions, meaning the phone was answered and sent directly to the hold music. Being that I live in [redacted] and the dealer was located in Fredricksburg, VA, I felt that communication was very important and just needed to be updated on what the status of my application was....simple right? Well, that did not happen. When I called to advise that I would not being moving forward with doing business and to discontinue the application process immediately, [redacted] responded with a nonchalant "Ok, thank you have a nice day." with no apology or explanation for the delay and lack of communication. The customer service I received was HORRIBLE. If I did not qualify or was not eligible for financing.....just let me know!!!! I should not have had to chase people down for answers. A complete was of my time!!Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a full of explanation of how my application was processed. I want to know when my credit was run, how many times, and to what lenders my credit report was sent. I was not provided any information regarding this and with my credit already being sub par, I feel that this is the least they can do for the inconvenience.

Review: I bought a car from Alpha Motorsports in Fredericksburg VA on Memorial day. The Ad on [redacted] insinuated the car came with navigation. I was told by a sales person that 2 of the 3 cars of the model I was interested in had navigation including the one I bought. I have a copy of the sales ad on Car.com that I can forward to you. Car.com has since removed the Ad and wrote them up for disciplinary action, warning them to refrain from posting fraudulent ads. The ad insinuated that the car had navigation capabilities. After my wife drove it home, she told me she couldn't get the navigation to work and I brought it up to Alpha Motorsports they denied they ever wrote that ad and that it was the work of [redacted] has proven that those were the dealers notes. After [redacted] proved it, Alpha Mototrsports changed their story and are now saying it wasn't meant to insinuate that the car had navigation capabilities and that I was mistaken. The ad claimed that if a SD/CD navigation card was given to them by the previous owner, they would forward it to me. This type of car never had a CD/SD navigation card option. To insinuate that even if they didn't have the SD/CD Navi card, I could get it from [redacted] or a [redacted] dealer. well, guess what, I can't. The sales person also told me this car was in a minor accident costing less than $500 to repair and it was painted by the actual dealer, [redacted] dealer. After getting the [redacted] dealership(that normally serviced the car) to run the VIN# on the vehicle, I found out it wasn't painted by the [redacted] dealership. The car was purchased for my wife and she recalls the salesman claiming that it was a [redacted] paint job. After telling this business of my findings they denied they ever told me that [redacted] painted it. The lift gate won't close and they said they "tried" to fix it but couldn't so I have to live with it. $27,000 got me a chipped up car with no Navigation and a broken lift gate. It's appalling how little they care.Desired Settlement: If you advertise a car with Navigation you should deliver it. If you say you will fix the lift gate and just give up, that's not acceptable. I want them to fix the lift gate, and pay for my navigation. They have made no attempt to help me with those things and just continue to lie like used car salesmen do. I have the ad if you guys would like it. I guarantee if I do a further search, I will find that this car was bought at an auction because it was near totaled. I think this business is a shameful establishment and needs to be held accountable for taking advantage of unsuspecting customers.

My name is [redacted] and I am in charge of Alpha Motorsports and I do apologize for any inconvenience and I want to point out a few things. 1. Our ad clearly mentions that Alpha Motorsports is not responsible for any misprint, usually we use dealercarsearch.com to feed our inventory to other sites such as [redacted] or [redacted] and sometime [redacted] can be slightly different when it comes to options, we never mentioned that vehicle came with Navigation, please read the seller notes. I talked with your salesperson and based on him he clearly told you that vehicle had some prior paint job.2. We allow customer(s) to take any vehicle at our lot to a 3rd party mechanic, as long as the mechanic is in 5 mile radius. Thanks[redacted]

Response:

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10652658, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This is the forwarded ad that [redacted] forwarded to me after alpha motors deleted it because I brought up the fact of how misleading it was. [redacted] has heard my complaint and has contacted alpha motorsports with a warning not to post fraudulent ads like this. They also encouraged me to write a review on the dealer describing my experience, which I did. This ad is insinuating that this car has the capability of using a CD/SD card for navigation. It says that if the owner or the auction did not give them the SD/CD card for navigation it would not be provided to me. Which I didn't care that much about because I could have just bought one from the dealer or [redacted] for $100. After my wife got home and said it didn't have navigation, I contacted the [redacted] dealer to get the SD/CD card and they informed me this particular car never had the option of ever having a SD/CD card and never had the option of navigation. [redacted] agreed that this was a fraudulent and misleading ad that used false advertisement to sell the car.

Alpha Motorsports helped me find a wonderful car within my budget. I ended up purchasing a [redacted] and It is in amazing condition. I have been driving it around on my long work commutes and so far so good!

I would 100% recommend this dealer to anyone shopping for a used car. You get exactly what you pay for with honest reports to help anyone buy with confidence.
