I don't remember the tech's name but after our call, 8:PM or so, the on call person was here within 1 hour. The furnace was running within a few minutes and our heat was up and running again. This is the usual rule when we have had a problem.
We've been customers of CK Smith for a number of years and have had nothing but great service, both with oil deliveries and service on our furnace...I think we've only had to call them once for an emergency service call
I'm mid-winter , but they were very quick to respond and corrected our problem....
I'm so happy with C.K. Smith! ONE of the reasons is when I call I find it VERY EASY to communicate with a human being! I like to pay my bill with my credit card to earn miles for my school travel. Annual service with CK Smith was perfect - as usual. The tech stayed for an hour and did the tune up. Arrived on time, explained what he was doing and left a report. Very professional. I have had CK Smith for oil and annual service for the last 20 years and they have been exemplary. I just had them put a new oil burner and hot water tank last year.

I called C.K. Smith Superior to find out if I was due for an oil delivery as my tank was at 40%. I didn't say how full it was, just asked when a delivery was due. The customer service rep said their records showed I should be at about 40% and would therefore be due for a delivery next week. I was impressed. As my tank froze many years ago, I always ask for a can of heat to be added. She said their policy now is always to add a can of heat to outside tanks. I was very impressed.
Our last service call into CK Smith Superior oil company was again a very pleasant experience! The technician, Tom, arrived promptly on time, and was very professional. He identified the problem with our burner and quickly replace the component causing the trouble. The great service is one of the reasons that we have been with CK Smith for twenty years now!

When I've needed a service tech or a cleaning the tech has always come on time and has been very pleasant and explain to exactly what was needed to keep my furnace in excelent condition.

They take measures to minimize the dirt that is associated with the annual cleaning of equipment. While I am a fairly new customer of CK Smith, my mom has been a customer for years and now that. I handle most of her household issues I understand why she has been loyal to CK Smith. Her furnace went in the middle of a very cold winter and they had to have a new one shipped. This was done expeditiously and they kept in contact with us every step of the way. The staff in the office are always ready to help with any question and the techs that come out to the house are knowledgeable . Seeing the service they provide to my mom is what made me switch to CK Smith.

Yes, many people call around for oil deliveries, to find the cheapest price. Nothing wrong with that, but we like to be loyal, and stay with the best!
