Mark called me and told me that he was just a few minutes late which was absolutely no problem He arrived shortly thereafter and got right to work first he walked me all around the house and showed me my missing shingles He explained why they were missing from only one side of the roof, The windy side He replaced the shinglespicked up all shingles he threw from the roof and was done in about an hour He was professional and very courteous If I need another roof tuI want Mark to do it Thanks

To whom it may concern:
This letter is in response to complaint #***It is true that the client did contract with American Home Contractors to replace her roof, gutters, and trim workBefore the project had been completed, the client asked that the company ownership visit her home
and inspect the project*** ***, the company president, along with myself went to the client's home on Friday (4/11) afternoonWe also called the roofing crew chief to meet us at the propertyWhile conducting our inspection, the client suddenly walked away from the conversation, locked her storm door, and slammed her entry door shutUp until that point, we were prepared to make any adjustments on the spotWe are really not sure why the client responded this wayWe had just finished telling her that, although of her issues were not items that were included in her contract, we would be willing to do them, at no additional costThe 3rd issue related to the dented siding by her front doorWe had offered two solutionsOne was complete replacement, and the other was a repair and cleanAt that point we left her property and went back to our office
The very next day, *** received a text message from the clientIt was a picture that the client had taken of our company job sign that had been spray painted with a giant "X" across itShe went on a tirade of how she was going to ruin our company's reputationWithin days after that, she continued to text that she would prefer that our company never return to her home and that she was hiring another contractor to finish the jobShe also told us that she would prefer all correspondence to be in writing, and that we would shortly hear from her legal counselSo far , we have had no further correspondence from the client or anyone on behalf the client
Since then, we have been fending off the many complaints she has lodged with various agenciesWe are quite surprised that she is requesting that we now come back and do work for herWith all of the other agencies that she has filed complaints with, she has stated that we are "the worst contractor ever" and would NEVER let us back on her propertyHas she changed her position? Please help us to understand what she really wantsWe are uncomfortable sending our crews back out there, when she has made it perfectly clear that they are not welcomeThe last correspondence she had with *** stated that she was "hiring another contractor and did not want any of our crews anywhere near her property."
We are very concerned with the effect this could have on our company's reputation, and hope to have it resolved ASAPWe have acted in good faith all along, as evidenced by our quick response time to her request for an "immediate" inspectionWe cancelled our Friday afternoon meetings to go see her and made her our #priority. We were prepared to make the adjustments she was requesting that same day, and advised her of the possible consequences of waitingShould any further information be required, please don't hesitate to call or emailWe are anxious to put this behind us
