American Home Guard

I have had other home warranties in my past and have had conflict with some of them to. American home guard has treated me like family and have yet to have conflict with them. They have proven to me that they genuinely care for the customers. I am excited to continue my business with americas best home warranty.

My stove top was not working the way it should and I needed it repaired. I contacted american home guard whos reps gave me assurance that my problem will be taken care of. The whole process from filing the claim to the repair was a breeze and showed me why they have such great reviews.

American home guard has been such a great help to me and my home. When my heater broke this winter and my house was freezing. I contacted ahg informed them that it was urgent and they told me they would get right to work. A few hours later I got a email from american home guard with the name of the contractor and the number. The next day my heater was working again!

Had to have my pool pump replaced. Contractor's representative was prompt, I went to work and my husband stayed home. The tech stayed in contact with me via phone and explained in detail what the problems were along with my husband, what he was going to do and why. Very satisfied with the service given by American Home Guard.

We had a dishwasher problem and we called for a repair. The repairman called to tell us when he would be out and he showed up quick. Explained the problem and he ordered the parts. I tell everybody that you can't go wrong with American Home Guard.

We had problems with our washing machine I made a call to arrange an appointment to seek repair. The customer service representative was very nice during the whole process. The man called to let me know he was on the way and he was a few minutes early. He fixed the washing machine and we've had no more problems.

I bought an older home in 2016. We paid for AHG at closing. We have made many claims in the past year and all were handled properly and professionally. We had a thermostat replaced, an outside AC unit repaired, refrigerator repaired. When we made a service call, I got a response right away giving the contractor's contact information. We never had to wait long. Usually within a few days or whenever it suited us.

I've had the warranty for about 18 months now and have used it twice for a plumbing problem and air conditioning. I've read the bad reviews, but I don't have any problems with AHG. They came out promptly and fixed the problems. What more can you ask for?

I had American home shield for 3 years now. In the beginning they were ok. Our hot water heater went out on a weekend and AHS refused to escalate it to an emergency situation even though it was 20 degrees outside and I have younger children, I had to hire my own contractor. It was a disaster and cancelled. Then I switched to American Home Guard and explained my issue they said they wouldn’t cover it because it was a pre existing condition. However they helped me find the cheapest technician even though I had to pay out of pocket and I wasn’t even a customer and they helped me when I needed them. Just signed up for the next 10 years because of their service.

I put in a service request with American Home Guard because my hot water heater was not working. The plumber was here the next day, they could not find the parts to fix it so AHG approved a new one. I am so happy with the service and how fast I received the new water heater, 100% professional.

Investing in AHG is worth every penny! I have a rental house and I know it would be extremely difficult to find a service tech if needed in that area. However american home guard actually had technicians in the area which saves me a lot of time and money.

We have used American Home Guard for the past 2 years and have been 95% pleased. Customer service has always been helpful and efficient. My oven stopped working, within a few hours someone was sent over and it was fixed.

I had a problem with my water heater and american home guard took care of it nicely. Called ahg and their customer service was very helpful in filing our claim. A repair man showed up 4 hours later and fixed the unit in one afternoon. ahg is definitely the best home warranty company around, I’d recommend them to anyone.

Great Customer service and quick to assign a repair technician on the case. we called AHG to fix our air conditioner and requested a service tech. I was called about 20 mins later by the technician who came out 3 hours later. My experience was great so far and hopefully the problem has been fixed.

The customer service reps were pleasant, the contractor was nice enough. This is our first claim and hope if any more it will go the same. The service was completed by a very qualified technician. There was no hesitation by american home guard about repairing the machine.

Response is quick and service providers are great. I have used this service on three different occasions. Not only did american home guard respond quickly, but also did the service providers. In one case the provider was here before I got a chance to tell my husband I had made a call to AHG regarding the problem we were having with our HVAC system. It doesn't get any better than that. In addition to the great service, I have saved over a thousand dollars. I recommend AHG to all my friends and family members.

The American Home Guard representative was very helpful. He took the time to go through my policy and make sure what I was asking for was covered. The service technician was on time, and explained what he was doing.

AHG is awesome! They have taken my requests and responded quickly. The service professionals that have come to my home were willing to work with my schedule and performed the repairs with the supplies to complete the work the first time. The AHG phone personnel were very accomodating making it painless to schedule service. I am so pleased with their service that I added a rental property in another state.

Customer service was amazing. The person was very friendly, helpful, and well informed of my policy. He really put in the time and effort to help me out with any issues or questions. Most of the time the repair person is able to come very quickly, usually the next day. I have an older home and things do break so it's nice to have them available to get a repair person out that I know I can trust.
