I decided to switch energy supplier from them That was one year ago and boy I am happy I did! As predicted by american power I have saved around $over the year and had great service from them.Their customer service is excellent.American Power and gas offers a good all round service and I have recommended them to others

I received a phone call from a telemarketer about switching to "green energy" for an additional feeHe made it sound as if all costomers were being forced to switch and it was only a formality that he was calling to inform me of the increased rateWhen I questioned him, he began to get belligerent and irritatedThe recording that he was forced to play by the government stated that it was an optional program When I called to complain about the salesman, the company said they would talk to the salesmans superior and proceeded to give me $0.13/kwt hr off for my next billThis seemed strange to me because I was not calling to get a rebateIt seemed as if this happened all the timeThis prompted an internet search and will ultimately lead me to cutting ties with the company I'm concerned that a less analytical citizen may be more easily persuaded by this technique Another strange thing that happened was that the salesman abruptly cut off the phone call and called back at the exact moment that I began to question his summery of the situationThis was in the middle of the required government review Something isn't right

This company's sales rep gave me information when I signed up with them I was told that I was not locked in with First Energy, which I found out later that I was and would be charged $for early cancellation I decided the savings to switch would cover this, so accepted the charge The sales rep said the rate would be cents and at the end of the year I would receive a 25% rebate on the charges I was charged cents for Feb2015, but in March the charge was cents - nearly double! I called to cancel and the next partial month was charged cents What a rip off I recently received another sales call with the same spiel, only for cents I remembered to check old bills and found it was the same company When I explained what happened the last time and refused to sign up, I was told I would be put on the Do Not Call list We'll see if that happens

American Power and Gas has switched our electric energy supplier fro another company chosen by us to themselves twice in the last two months Both times we have sought reinstatement with our preferred supplied who offers distinctly better rates We are a not-for-profit, all-volunteer food pantry in Bedford Pennsylvania and the cost differential and aggravation are material to us

We are running a food pantry in Pennsylvania and it is our startup business, were confused which company will be good as electric energy supplier We opted American power and gag, it turned out to be a good decision, fair rates, and service delivery is as promised

I would not give this company any business, it is horribleFirst when we tried to cancel our electric service with this company they called repeatedly to get our business back despite being asked numerous times to stop calling Then a few weeks later we received our final bill, our variable rate just happened to increase 250% over the previous monthCoincidence?

APG did a sales call at our company, the promise of lower bills were enticing so we signed up for lower electric bills First month's bill was double our old amount, we called to complain and were told that we were in the wrong program we were entered in the green program and should have been in the brown program APG also decided to switch our natural gas provider with out authorization Second bill comes in that was double the first months bill, called to complain and were told that the first months supply rate was an introductory rate We were now being billed at the ever changing supply rate If it sounds to good to be true it probably is

I have appreciated the service that I get from AP&G They have done exactly what they said they would doI am saving money, and helping the environmentThis is a great .I wish the company didn't make it so hard to complete the process

Before few months I lived in Florida and I am one of the customers of American Power and GasThey are the one of the best service providerI never had any kind of problem in power and gas during their serviceNow I am shifted to JacksonvilleDo you provide services here then I want to use your services againI recommended your services to my friends and family member

This company has been calling about times a day asking to speak to owner regarding their gas billthey have been very rude and annoying to our staffWe have asked them to take us off their call list

After receiving these calls daily, I asked them to take our number of the call list and finally had to hang up on them They wait a couple of months and call again and now have taken to calling our other departments They also call from numbers that are not on the caller ID I've told them repeatedly not to call here after seeing all the negative comments and reviews

Please do not go with this companyThey scammed me and I lost $in a monthThey gave me the advertised rate at .0499, second month jumped Went to switch and didn't realize I had to wait a monthThat was a long month, but I got the last bill and it was I'm very shocked and disappointedCalled to see if they'd help and the only thing they offered was to put me on the do not call listWish I had been on there before

After a month I knew I had made the huge mistake of switching my energy company to American Power and GasI was happy with the supplemental Wind-powered company(In the NorthEast) I was using with ConEdAP&G cold-called me and sold me on their lower energy costsWish I had just said, "No, thank you." My bills shot up about 50%I was shocked because I was using no more or less energy than beforeAnd all this when energy costs were supposedly very low I knew something was wrong Don't use the number on your current bill to cancelAll you'll get is a constant Ad for some stupid cruise/vacation they want you to buyCall the number above When I finally did get someone, I felt very uneasy with the customer service person I was talking to, so I just cancelled and got the heck out of there I was I had checked here on the Revdex.com site first

LEASE don't sign up with this company The first couple of months they were below the previous carrier by cents This month that were almost double my previous carrier I have to pay an extra $this month because I chose to go with American Power The rate for my previous carrier is and their rate was That is a big difference!!! The sales person that sucked me into American claimed I should always be less than what my previous carrier charges I realize he said "should be less" but he certainly made me feel like it was a good deal and it was presented to me in such a way that it would be to my benefitThis sales person gave me his phone number and extension however, it is no longer valid so I couldn't even speak to himPlease think twice before you sign up with this company !!!! I feel I was ripped off !

EXTREMELY pushy sales person denied repeatedley that they are a third party supplier for or electric companyOthers have claimed they double or triple their electric billStay away!

SCAM!!!! We canceled this company as an electric supplier and within a few weeks received a call from an American Power and Gas Representative stating we are due a rebate check in October (only month away) and to not cancel and we would still receive that check I specifically asked the Representative and repeated with this person if we stay till the end of October I can cancel in November and still receive our check....Answer was YES!!! Today I called to ask when we would be receiving our check and was told we have to wait more billing cycles To top it all off they have no information of the call that was made stating this, but I have a letter regarding the rate change to stay dated September 30th Very unhappy!!! I cancelled the service immediately!!!!

American Power and Gas has called my business, home and cell number - sometimes four times a day - asking if I want to change my electric supplierI have repeatedly asked to be placed on a do not call list, however, they keep making excessive, disruptive calls that I view as harassing

This company is a total rip off They over lower prices than your energy supplier then bill you times more than normal!

I never feel like writing a review of American Power & Gas since I am using their services from past two yearsNever had a service issue or discrepancy in bill amountNow my question is that I am in New Jersey and moving to another apartment in next two weeksMy biggest worry is whether you have service station there or not? Really appreciate if you guide through the procedure and cost
