Don't do itSigning up to this course is just an upsell opportunity to themI was a real estate agent for yrs and made the mistake of letting my license lapse so I had to retake the boardsI passed my board exams (federal and state) - not thanks to this placeI only need a required, hr practice course which is what I decided to use them forI have spent way more than hrs just trying to get past their material overload, grammatical errors, and poorly worded examIn my yr real estate career, I've not had to use the vast majority of the material they present
After two attempts at their required exam, I got an 88% and 86% (90% is passing)The instructor's response to my concern involved the following:
Her trying to upsell me a printed copy of a book called "Principles of Real Estate" for $
Her telling me that I can pay an additional $to have another three tries at the test
Fierce defensiveness about their practices but no actual help or addressing of my concerns
I just want my money back!! I refuse to spend another dime with this place; this has been a total waste of my timeI can pay the same amount of money to take a local hr practice course and could've been done weeks agoInstead, I have to refer business to other agents because I can't get my license until I'm done with this practice courseI am extremely disappointed in my choice of selecting Real Estate ExpressI just want my money back!

At 1% complete I feel this is a total scamThe chapters and text are not aligned to the test or even basic terminology definitionsThe text is fraught with spelling and grammatical errorsEven if you write down terms and definitions verbatim - you will fail their testI work in the industry and was confused how they co-mingle terms that don't naturally intermixIt's not a matter of reading between the lines or choosing the best answer - there are no answers that match the questions let alone the reading material
At 1% complete, I can see the desired outcome is to get me to part with more and more money to get the correct answers so I can pass the REAL test, the proctored state examYet I can't even imagine using this tool to get there, it's not aligned to the state test
I've reached out a few times now, requesting a refund via email & phone with no responseVery disappointed this course is not as described as online fits my needs much better than sitting in a class

Student enrolled in course on 10/3/with a GrouponShe called in on 4/4/to re-register her TX law of contracts course due to failing both final examsStudent was charged the $fee that is outlined for her at the beginning of the
course and in her orientationThe State of TX requires that the student re-register for a single course, if they fail both finals, for $feeStudent did not call in for account assistance or submit course issues to our Support department
On 10/2/Student Services Manager contacted this student for clarity, since the request was made this month, with the complaint time of 4/4/Requested call back with clarification regarding complaintOn 10/5/Student called back to advise of complaintRefunded student in the amount of $Gave her instructor email and sent her to Instructor VM with content questionsShe agreed that the Revdex.com complaint has been resolved

My husband and I both signed up for the Real Estate classes for Colorado We have both been working towards the first section
*** passed all tests in the first section and then went to take the final exams Both times, she failed, but the company provided no information on what was missed *** had to call and send emails for information The instructor was rude and stated "you clearly did not know the material" He also questioned the time I spent on the material and studying
Their website indicates they have a guaranteed pass rate, however it is misleading They have a hidden $charge to take PRACTICE tests
I started contacting the school on 3/21/via phone and email Voice message were NEVER returned On 3/27/the said I was entitled to a refund, but never answered any requests for the refund to be processed
Their inability to respond has caused significant financially impacts and impacts to moving forward with another school

This student purchased a *** and enrolled in our TX Pre-license, Silver package on 6/24/While the student did spend a total of hours in the first, hour course, he only spent a little over hours in the actual course and did not
enter into the Supplemental materials, including the reading assignments, at allMost of his time spent was taking quizzes and exams
It is stated in his course orientation, that he signed before entering the course, that all of these materials are to be used together in order to be successful in this courseIt also gives the instructor information as well as our student support contact informationThe orientation also outlines the TX State regulation that if a student fails both exams, the student will need to start that course over from the beginningThere is a fee associated in order to take the course again, which is also stated in the course orientationPlease note that we have a high pass rate in the State of TX and have been approved and accredited by the State of TX for many years
Our goal is to have an ongoing relationship with our studentsWe want our students to succeed, which is why we have a free service of instructor review and assistance, forum assistance as well as our student support, which is available M-F 8a-5p, CST and on the weekends by emailAs of today, we have no indication that this student has contacted our student support
Since the student did not reach out to our Student Support, we were unable to discuss these issues and remind him of the instructor and supports that he has available to himAs his course work was purchased through ***, he will need to contact *** directly if he would like to receive a refund, as the enrollment was paid to ***, not to our schoolWe can offer these supports as well as a free re-registration back into his course at this time

I spoke to her on May 10 regarding a Yelp review she had posted and she told me she would be filing this complaint.  That day, we did refund all of her money.

The following was emailed to this student upon receipt of this complaint.  No response by student at this time.Dear [redacted],We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with the GA pre-license course.  Our exams are application level exams, as required by GREC rule and our material and...

finals are approved by the state.  In an application level exam,  that means our course material teaches the concept, but the exam questions are not word for word repeats from the screen to the question.  The rule says "you are required to use your new knowledge in a new way"The final exams are submitted blind.  They don't know which school exam they are looking at.  The Bureau of Testing reviews and edits and when our final is what they think it should be, we can use it as part of course material. Our support offered you a course retake, and suggested that the fastest way for you to obtain a license right now is to take advantage of that offer.  We know that our students who make in the mid 80's will usually pass the license exam on the first try. So your still deficient in material that will be tested.  Students who took the exam last month state wide have a pass rate of 50% on the license exam.   The Exam Prep Master program does not open up until you have finished the course work, because it is modeled after the State Licensing Exam, not with the intention of assisting with the course, as the State requires different knowledge criteria in each instance. We do not want to mislead anyone.  Below you will find the exact verbiage from our website regarding EPM:“Exam Prep Master is the best way to ensure a passing grade on your Georgia real estate licensing exam. We help tens of thousands of students annually pass their real estate exam through Georgia practice exams, final real estate exams, real estate math questions and hundreds of common real estate definitions.” We also offer the assistance of an Instructor, who can provide you insight into your questions and subject areas, as well as a Student Forum to access questions that other students have posted, as well as post your own.As you can see from our new website, we are listening to our student’s comments and feedback.  We have recently reviewed all of our courses for errors and continue to strive for the best educational experience for all of our students. Our hope is to build ongoing relationships with our students, never to mislead or create issues.  I apologize for any frustrations that you may have felt during this experience. At the end of the day, we want you to find the best educational fit for you.  Please contact our Student Support at [redacted] 8-5pm, CST, in order to expedite the refund process for your balance of the initial enrollment or to re-register at no cost.Best wishes in your education and career.Regards,[redacted]Customer Service SupervisorReal Estate Express[redacted]@expressschools.comrealestateexpress.com

Hello, [redacted].   Thank you for contacting Express Schools. You recently contacted us wanting a review of what you missed on a quiz. Because students are provided a list showing questions answered right and wrong at the end of each quiz and what pages to review, the instructors do not have...

any way of seeing what students missed on quizzes…only on exams. If you missed a quiz question and cannot locate the information, or have questions regarding the information, your instructor will be glad to provide feedback. Our online courses are student led learning opportunities. However, the 100% passing requirement is a regulation set in place by the state of Texas with which we have to comply. This can be found on the Texas Real Estate Commission website located in Chapter 535 General Provisions; Subchapter F Requirements for Education Providers, Courses and Instructors for Qualifying Education; §535.62 Approval of Qualifying Courses which states: “    (C) if the course is delivered by distance education delivery:       (i) Prevent the student from moving to the next topic until the student answers all topic quiz questions correctly and receives a passing grade on the scenario based learning exercises.” We are happy that you are reviewing information. Just let us know what exams you want to have reviewed, or if you know of specific quiz questions of which you are unsure. We are unable to change what the State has issued as a requirement of the course, but our records do reflect that we have complied with your request to no longer continue with your courses and have been refunded. However, your will still have access if you wish to complete this program. I would also urge you to review our record of response on the Revdex.com website, as this is a site that is actually moderated by businesses and the place where we respond to a student’s concerns.  We have been a school since 1996, had over 60 thousand students last year, and still maintain a A+ rating. Again, thank you for your feedback.  We appreciate our student’s considerations as we are constantly moving forward as a company, trying to change the game of student course experience. Please let me know if you have any further questions/concerns. Sincerely, [redacted].Student ServicesReal Estate Express l [redacted]

The student enrolled with a payment plan on 6/18/15. On 7/14/15 Student called in and requested refund after attempting both final exams. The final exams as well as all of the content are reviewed and approved by the State of CA. The...

Representative then emailed the student the cancellation form. It does outline the refund policy within his course orientation that he digitally signed before being able to begin the course. This policy is outlined again within the cancellation/refund form, but it also states that case-by-case requests will be reviewed by a supervisor. The student did not complete and send this form. On 7/23/15 student called in and paid off his payment plan. 7/29/15 Student filed this report on 7/14/15. Supervisor L/M following up with him to see if the issue had been resolved at this time. Provided extension to clarify report/refund position. On 8/5/15 supervisor again contacted student. Student stated that he no longer wishes to pursue career in Real Estate. Supervisor authorized a refund. Student advised that Revdex.com complaint will be rescinded. Student asked if he would be able to pick up the course where he left off again, if he chose to go back in to Real Estate.

initially enrolled on 10/14/2014. Our orientation, which she signed at the beginning of the course, clearly states that we do not give partial refunds and that we have an 8-day refund policy. The student requested this refund on 5/28/15. After further communications, on 5/29/15 we went against our policy and issued a $38 refund back to initial payee (not the student), which covered the difference of the exam prep master. We have met every request that this student has made, and in a timely manner. We have reached out to this student asking for this complaint to be resolved at this time.

From the information provided by this student, we believe he is referring to a Groupon offer we ran in Colorado in September. Through Groupon we offered two course packages at 50% off their usual price. The offer was only available to Groupon members.
In the fine print of that offer it stated,...

"Promotional value expires Nov 1, 2015." Under Groupon terms, which it is the responsibility of Groupon members to know, the promotional value expiration date is the date the portion of the Offer Value that exceeds the Amount Paid expires. It is not the same as the date the offer will be pulled from the Groupon website. That date - or a message such as 'limited time only' - is in a larger font placed above the fine print.
We are not allowed, per our contract with Groupon, to match the price on our Groupon offers. So when students call in asking about Groupons that are no longer on the Groupon website, we do always offer a discount, as we did for this student.

Good morning! At this time we have attempted to reach out by phone and email, multiple times with no response by the student.  We have started the refund process and the refund by check has been sent to the student's address on file. Please reach out to us if you need anything further. Sincerely,[redacted]Student Services Team LeadReal Estate Express[redacted]@expressschools.comrealestateexpress.com
