Review: The company continues to harass me with mail saying I need to pay. I have provided appropriate payment on multiple occasions and they have failed to accept. They have never called to discuss the problem nor has their client. A sepererate complaint has been filed with them for poor practice. If they would just call I feel we can take care of the issuue and work through their failure to process payment. They should be aware that pay,ent was attempted on mltiple occaisions with their client and they have failed to respond.Desired Settlement: process correctly and expalin how they will adress correcting the issues with theiropwrations in the future. This will need to be in writing. If not this complaint should be maintained so future users are aware of their failures

Under the Fair Debt CollectionPractices Act (FDCPA), information regarding a debt may not be disclosed to any third parties without the prior consentof the consumer given directly to the debt collection. [1] However, Americollect, Inc. may disclose informationregarding the underlying debt to respond to complaint allegations. [2] This communication is not made with a viewtoward collecting the debt. This communication serves as Americollect, Inc:s timely response to Mr. [redacted]'sconcerns.On 09/ 15/ 2014, an account for [redacted] (Account #[redacted]) listed in our office for Mr. [redacted].We sent a notice to the address on file per our client's records and, subsequently, the address provided by Mr. [redacted]on this complaint. On 10/ 3/ 2014, Americollect received our notice with credit card information provided. Weattempted to process the [redacted] ending in ·[redacted], however, it was declined. We sent a letter to Mr. [redacted] on10/04/2014 to let him know ofthe declined payment. We also attempted a phone call to the phone number providedto our office by our client on 10/6/2014. We were unable to reach Mr. [redacted] at t hat time. The letter sent on10/4/2014 stated:As is evident by our rapid and thorough response to your office, and subsequently Mr. [redacted], Americollect takescomplaints very seriously. If Mr. [redacted] has any further questions regarding his account or would like to set up apayment, please contact Americollect at ###-###-#### Monday-Friday 7am-9pm or Saturday 8am-5pm CentralStandard Time.Thank you again for bringing this to our attention and allowing me to respond.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I am glad they had agreed that they provided unsatisfactory options to their medical services clients. I recommend that before they accept the medical facilities as a client that they be able to accept all forms of payment before harassing the people who hire their clients. I will still need a letter in writing that my credit rating was unharmed by this incident

We also take great pride in treating consumerswith the respect and professionalism they deserve. Review: I received a call from americollect and I was offered a debt settlement. I paid the agreed amount on Friday May 15. Today they called me back and said they weren't authorized to do a settlement and owe $65 more to close the account. I talked to 2 team leads and explained they have a recording of a binding agreement which I paid and they are responsible for the balance. They will not close ky account. Now what? I'm not paying for their mistakeDesired Settlement: Americollect pay the balance and close my account

As we collect on behalf ofour clients we are only authorized to settle on accounts that they have given us authority to do so. Ms. [redacted]has four accounts list with us with two different clients and neither of which offer a settlement. Ms. [redacted] didhave a conversation on May t h with a representative of Americollect who incorrectly offered Ms. [redacted] a 25%settlement on the four balances owed in our office.While we were incorrect in offering Ms. [redacted] a settlement on these four accounts we have here in our officefor Ms. [redacted], I will up hold the settlement agreement that she was offered on May tho Americollect will paythe difference to our clients in order to make them whole and to be able to update Ms. [redacted]'s credit file asPaid in Full.As is evident by our rapid and thorough response to your office, and subsequently Ms. [redacted], Americollecttakes complaints very seriously.
