Dear [redacted]:Thank you for giving AmeriGas Propane, L.P. (“AmeriGas”) an opportunity to respond to [redacted]’s complaint regarding a collection notice she received. Upon receipt of this complaint, we investigated the allegations contained therein. We have concluded...

our investigation and provide the following response.[redacted] is correct she did call our company to inquire about prices but we never delivered her a tank. We did however open an account for her at the time of her call so to lock her in at the price we quoted. When this fee was not paid it began to accrue late charges, which is why she received the collections call. All of these fees were removed and the account was closed in August. We apologize for the misunderstanding and let this letter serve as confirmation that no derogatory credit information has been reported to any credit bureau or credit reporting agency. In light of the foregoing, AmeriGas reasonably considers this matter resolved. If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact me.Sincerely,Jill DCustomer Advocacy Manager

Thank you for giving AmeriGas Propane, L.P. (“AmeriGas”) an...

opportunity to respond to [redacted]’s complaint regarding pricing. AmeriGas takes any complaint by its customers seriously. Therefore, upon receipt of [redacted]’s complaint, we investigated the allegations contained therein and provide the following response based on our findings.
[redacted]’s price per gallon is based on his annual usage. The current retail price of $4.029 is correct based on his annual usage. Our records indicate [redacted] was offered a price of $2.899, not $2.299 in an effort to retain his business and keep our pricing fair. The price of $2.899 is similar to what we offered other customers during our summer special pricing program. AmeriGas offers many programs to lower the price per gallon for our customers. If [redacted] would like to learn more about these programs he should contact his local AmeriGas office at ###-###-####.We apologize for any inconvenience caused to [redacted] and trust this response addresses his concerns. In light of the foregoing, we reasonably consider this matter resolved. If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact me.

Dear [redacted]:Thank you for giving Amerigas Propane, L.P. (“AmeriGas”) an opportunity to respond to [redacted]'s complaint regarding his account. AmeriGas takes any complaint we receive seriously, Therefore, upon receipt of [redacted]'s complaint, we investigated the...

allegations contained therein and provide the following response based on our findings. When AmeriGas acquired [redacted]'s former propane provider, we received his account information and signed lease agreement. Enclosed is [redacted]'s signed lease agreement from [redacted] Propane, his previous provider. His account was transferred to us as a forecasted customer. As a forecast customer, delivery tickets are automatically generated by AmeriGas' proprietary [redacted] software based on degree days, prior usage and the types of appliances using propane, among other things, thus resulting in an automatic delivery being scheduled as forecasted. [redacted] received two deliveries from Americas, August 2013 and November 2013.
We received a letter from [redacted] on November 20, 2013 requesting us to cease deliveries to his residence; deliveries were stopped once the letter was received. [redacted] asserts he requested a tank pick up as well, enclosed is [redacted]'s letter and he does not request a tank pickup. [redacted] is disputing our standard $39.99 Service Dispatch Charge for picking up the tank from his residence. Our fees are outlined on the back of our invoices (example enclosed) and are fully explained in our Terms and Conditions; they are also located on our website, www.Americas.com.
We value all of our customers both past and present and apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused [redacted]. In light of the foregoing, Americas reasonably considers this matter resolved. If you have any questions or require further information please feel free to contact me.SincerelyJill D

I wanted to purchase a new propane tank. The Amerigas manager and tank setter came out to my house and told me it could not be done. The manager then went on to make a deal (shaking my hand before he left), he told me that if I purchased a complete tank of propane for the year I could have free rental of the tank. They also told me that the tank needed some exterior maintenance which has not taken place to this day (May 19, 2016). My wife and three sons were witness to this whole event. I have received a bill this spring and I called them to remind them of this event. The manager was supposed to call me back and has not done so as of this writing.
