opportunity to respond to [redacted]’s complaint regarding a delivery and a safety check. AmeriGas takes any complaint by its customers seriously. Therefore, upon receipt of [redacted]’s complaint, we investigated the allegations contained therein and provide the following response based on our findings.
[redacted] contacted her local AmeriGas office on October 30, 2014 to establish a new service. [redacted] was advised a safety leak check needs to be performed to establish the new service and was given a date of November 11, 2014. A delivery of 45.3 gallons was delivered on November 7, 2014 and the safety leak check was performed on November 11, 2014. District Manager, Keith G[redacted] is sending [redacted] $25 coupon to be used towards her next delivery.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to [redacted] and trust this response addresses her concerns. In light of the foregoing, AmeriGas reasonably considers this matter resolved. If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact me.

AmeriGas District Manager, Milt D[redacted], spoke directly to [redacted] about her account. A delivery was made to [redacted] on March 7, 2015 for 62 gallons. Mr. D[redacted] mailed [redacted] a coupon to use towards her next delivery for any inconvenience she experienced. Currently, [redacted]’s account has a balance of $300.16.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  However, it did take contact you in order to receive any type of satisfaction from AmeriGas... Amerigas claims the check was sent and/or returned but I receive mail at the address given to them everyday at this box and but seems their company is the only one who had issues!!!!!  Their lack of details was most unacceptable as several times I repeated and CONFIRMED my address HOWEVER THEY FAILED TO NOTE ON MY ACCOUNT THE SUITE NUMBER....  I have received my refund check FINALLY via [redacted].

investigated the allegations contained therein and provide the following response based on our findings.On December 23, 2013 [redacted] contacted her local office to request a delivery. At the time, [redacted] was advised her past due balance would need to be paid and she needed to prepay for the delivery because she was removed as a forecast customer, due to her overdue balance. On December 24, 2013 [redacted] contacted her local office again, four times, and was informed she would need to pay our standard 150 off route fee and prepay for her 100 gallon propane order.On April 17, 2014 [redacted] contacted our Customer Care Line to inform them she would auction and sell our tank if it was not removed from her property. On April 18, 2014 the tank was removed from the property. [redacted] was not charge a tank removal fee.The 150.00 off route fee will remain as this was the agreement with [redacted] when shereceived her December 24, 2013 delivery. The account was been final billed and tank removed, as requested.We value all of our customers both past and present and are sorry to lose [redacted] as acustomer. opportunity to respond to **. and [redacted]’ (“the [redacted]’”) complaint regarding a delivery. AmeriGas takes any complaint by its customers seriously. Therefore, upon receipt of the [redacted]’ complaint, we investigated the allegations contained therein and provide the following response based on our findings.
On November 24, 2014, the [redacted]’ received a delivery in error of 69.5 gallons. Due to the error a credit of $73.67 was given to the [redacted]’ to reduce the price per gallon charged to $3.689. We also removed two (2) late fees from their account, $36.00 each. The [redacted]’ since have received a delivery and the current account balance is $215.39.
We value our customers and apologize for any inconvenience caused to the [redacted]’. In light of the foregoing, AmeriGas reasonably believes this matter to be resolved. If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact me.

Amerigas regularly sent me unexpected (and often just plain wrong) bills. Billed me multiple time for not using a minimum amount of propane in a year. But I checked my records and had used over the minimum. Billed me for running out of propane... but I was on automatic delivery. Umm... that's your fault guys. Finally switched companies due to the high prices and bad service... and they billed me another $60 as I went out the door for picking up the tanks. Even though I checked when I was going to switch and they said there were no end of service charges. Well maybe not technically...

By way of background, **. [redacted]’s was a metered customer account. Simply stated, **. [redacted] was charged for the propane she used. **. [redacted]’s account was billed correctly during her tenure as a customer. In good faith we gave her a credit for her May invoice in the amount of $56.13 and refunded her the $100.00 deposit she had on her account. Her account has been closed with $0.00 balance.
