March 19, 2015Dear [redacted]:
Thank you for giving AmeriGas Propane, L.P d.b.a. [redacted] Gas Co....

(“AmeriGas”) an opportunity to respond to [redacted]’s complaint regarding a delivery. AmeriGas takes any complaint by its customers seriously. Therefore, upon receipt of [redacted]’s complaint, we investigated the allegations contained therein and provide the following response based on our findings.
[redacted]’s account is set up as a will call customer account. Simply stated, [redacted] is required to contact her local AmeriGas office to schedule a delivery. It is recommended for will call customers to schedule a delivery when the tank gauge reads 20% to allow ample time for delivery. Deliveries to will call customers require five (5) to seven (7) business days [redacted] placed her order on February 16, 2015 and received her delivery on February 21, 2015.
We value all of our customers and apologize for any inconvenience to [redacted]. In light of the foregoing, AmeriGas reasonably considers this matter resolved. If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Jill D

We apologize for the delay in retrieving the propane tank from [redacted]’s property. We picked up the tank on December 12, 2014. There was not any propane left in the tank, therefore, [redacted] is not due a refund. [redacted]’s account will be closed out with a zero (0) balance.
We value all of our customers both past and present and apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused [redacted]. In light of the foregoing we reasonably consider this matter resolved. If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you for giving AmeriGas Propane, L.P (“AmeriGas”) an opportunity to respond to [redacted]’s complaint regarding her account and tank removal. AmeriGas takes any complaint by its customers seriously. Therefore, upon receipt of [redacted]’s complaint, we investigated the allegations contained therein and provide the following response based on our findings.

On May 22, 2015 Customer Relations Representative, Michelle J[redacted] was able to speak with [redacted] regarding this matter. Ms. J[redacted] informed [redacted] our credit department has removed the flag on her account that generates calls for past due balances. Credits have also been applied to Ms. J[redacted]’s account to correct her balance. As of May 27, 2015 Ms. J[redacted]’s account has a credit balance of $20.54. A tank removal has also been scheduled for Friday May 29, 2015.

We apologize for any inconvenience to [redacted] and trust this response addressed her concerns. AmeriGas reasonably believes this matter is on its way to being resolved. If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact me.

This service consistently lies about servicing dates, has left us with so little gas we have had to turn the heat off as a result and is now price gouging. They almost always require us to ask for propane and do not reliably refill tanks. They also have issues with answering the phone and often don't have a way to communicate with them.

Dear [redacted]:
Thank you for giving AmeriGas Propane, L.P (“AmeriGas”) an opportunity to respond to Sid Hamid’s complaint again regarding his account. AmeriGas takes any complaint by its customers seriously. We investigated the allegations contained therein and provide the following response based on our findings.
By way of background again, [redacted] is a forecasted automatic delivery customer. We made a partial delivery to [redacted] even though he requested a fill up. We have reviewed the call recording and [redacted] requested a fill up. We did return to his residence to fill the tank. If [redacted] would like to have the propane removed from his tank, he may do so by contacting his local office at ###-###-#### to schedule.
In [redacted]’s complaint, he mentions his pricing is different than his neighbors. Our position regarding [redacted]’s pricing has not changed. [redacted] is not participating in any of our Guaranteed Price Protection (GPP) program and as such, [redacted] is considered a market based customer and pays a price per gallon set by the company on the date of the delivery.
In regard to the price offer made to [redacted] to purchase his tank compared to the price given to his neighbors, the tanks installed in the neighborhood vary in age also they could be new or refurbished making the sale price different. [redacted]’s tank is a 2010 refurbished tank. If [redacted] would like to accept the price offered to him to purchase his tank, he should contact AmeriGas District Manager, Sheldon W[redacted] at ###-###-####.
In light of the foregoing, AmeriGas reasonably believes that this matter is closed. If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Jill D[redacted]

Good Afternoon,
I would like to re-open claim #[redacted] against Amerigas, you basically have all information other than them agreeing to have no charges after our services changed.  In this letter you will see copies of bills which I was told by a man with a speech impediment I believe in late August of 2014 I would pay nothing after tank was removed.
Thank- you Heather Ortiz for your help with this situation and looking forward from Revdex.com with this problem.
To Resolve: Tell Amerigas I will NOT PAY!!!
Thank-you

allegations contained therein and provide the following response based on our findings.[redacted] is correct she did receive notification that her account was credited $93.37. This notification was sent in the form of a credit memo and it was showing that her tank rental fees for the year had been credited back to her account. [redacted] asserts she is owed a refund check for the $93.37 however I have included with this letter a breakdown of [redacted]’s account history from August 2012 thru January of 2014 so she can see how everything has been applied to her account. This outlines of all of the charges, credits, and payments made on her account during this period and shows her current account balance of zero indicating that no refunds are due to [redacted].In light of the foregoing, we reasonably consider this matter resolved. Heritage propane starting charging me delivery charges without notice and agreement from me (real reason was trying to force all customers to auto fill up) so I told them to come get their tank. After they remove their tank I was hit with all the un-agreed upon charges like pump out charge $0.35 per gallon, charge to come get their tank $39.99 and was reimburse $0.45 less per gallon that I paid for the gas in the tank a few months ago.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I never asked to have a cost waived for emergency delivery. I simply asked to know when my propane would be delivered. Also, I never asked for any coupons, $100 doesn't come close to cover the amount I am being gouged for propane. Amerigas unreasonable price:$3.20 * 400 gallons= $1280. Fair market price is $1.99*400 gallons=$796
I am being over charged by $484. I reject this offer.
Regards,
[redacted]
