We are writing in response to your comments filed with the Revdex.comWe reached out to you yesterday, March 27, 2017, to address your questions further As discussed, this is an automated system When a payment is due on a Sunday or Monday, Amica.com will display the payment as the Saturday prior In your specific case, it is the 18th However, we do not initiate the payment with your financial institution until Monday the 20th and this is also the date that payment is extract from your account This will occur again in May when your due date falls on a SundayPlease contact us if you have any additional questions or concerns We thank you for continuing to work with us and appreciate your time

We are writing with respect to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.comWe have carefully reviewed your accountIn Massachusetts, you are required to maintain Compulsory Insurance Coverage with a registered vehicle, therefore, we were unable to cancel the policy until the plates were returned to the RMV Your policy was cancelled on December 5, since your plates were returned to the Registry of Motor Vehicles on December 4, As discussed on December 16, 2016, since the plates are no longer active, we have agreed to accommodate you and change the policy cancellation date to October 3, 2016, the day after the vehicle was disposed of, as an exception We have handled this matter in accordance with our state filed Massachusetts Private Passenger Automobile Manual, and the mandatory insurance laws and RMV requirements of the state A return premium check reflecting this change will be sent to you shortly We are pleased that we could resolve the issue to your satisfactionIf you have questions, please feel free to let us know

We have carefully reviewed your account and confirmed that we have requested from your financial institution that payments are made to Amica on the 20th of each month For February and March, the 20th fell on a Monday and, when that happens, Amica.com will display the payment the Saturday prior, in this case the 18thHowever, we do not initiate the payment with your financial institution until Monday the 20thIf your bank statement is showing that the funds were withdrawn on the 18th, please forward us the documentation so that we can research this further As you discussed with a Supervisor on March 20, 2017, we can also change the Amica payment date to any day of the month that works for you
