Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments below. I get the policy, but I was told that it recently changed, so why wasn't I notifiedI would have definitely added the glass coverage, I just don't understand why it wasn't covered, when I have $300,Full Coverage on my car It seems to me that this is just a scam by Amica to not provide services renderedI guess I will have to take my business elsewhere and contact family and friends via Facebook, and tell them to not do business with Amica in the future.

We are writing in response to the complaint you submitted to the Revdex.com. We understand your frustration with not having requested solicitations from Amica Mutual Insurance Company and would like to assist in ceasing these solicitations moving forward. We have
proceeded with removing you from our mailing list used for solicitations sent directly from Amica Mutual Insurance Company. However, as you may be aware, businesses such as insurance companies and financial institutions may also utilize a selection process in which product offers are made utilizing mailing databases that are managed by a third partyTherefore, there could be instances in which you are selected to receive mailings, sent using a third party via a mailing databaseWhile we understand you have not requested such offers, you are the only person who is authorized to remove your name from a mailing database. Additionally, please rest assured no credit score is obtained during this type of selection process and these types of inquiries do not affect your credit rating in any way If you do not want to receive prescreened offers of insurance from Amica and other companies who make similar inquiries, please call the consumer reporting agencies toll-free at 1-***; or visit the website at www.***. If you prefer to make your request in writing, you will need to write to each credit bureau individually at: *** Target Marketing, ** *** *** *** Parkway B2, Allen, TX 75013; *** Options, ** *** ***, Atlanta, GA 30374-0123; and *** *** Opt Out Request, ** *** ***, Woodlyn, PA 19094-0505. you say you are removing me from your mailing list and I am the only one who can remove my name ? how did I get on your list? your mailing has a name of a person who signed the letter so this is not third party? It says "this is an offer of automobile insurance from Amica and your Credit information was used to select you for this offer? you just said it was not accessed? I can call and go through a process of giving all my personal information to some number to be taken off a opt out????? why should I have to do something I never asked to be involved in using my name and address

We are writing with respect to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.comThrough the use of consumer reports, we were made aware of two licensed operators with your address of record whom were not listed as operators on your automobile policyOur records indicate we confirmed with
you on December 19, one of these operators was indeed a member of your household, and advised we would need to add him to your Amica Automobile Insurance Policy In accordance with our rating procedures, the policy premium was adjustedWe were in the process of obtaining a signed operator exclusion form for this operator when you cancelled the policy. The other operator present on the consumer report was not added to your policy as we confirmed with you he had an automobile insurance policy in his own nameAs this operator was not at any point listed as a driver on your automobile policy, you were not charged an additional premium for this operatorThe premium charged in accordance with adding the operator who had access to your vehicle for some time was appropriate based on the risk presented and our filed rating plansTherefore, we are not in a position to return premium for this policy changeYou can feel free to reach out to our local office if you have any further questions

I am totally unhappy with response of AmicaThey are trying to escape inspite of me providing all details and proper documentation, which were basis for my claimThey don't have proper basis for their offerHence, I complained to Revdex.comEven now, they are not ready to look into facts and settle amicablyI also asked them to suggest any place where I can get my vehicle valuated to prove that my car value is diminishedI asked this earlier as well as in my last communication thru' Revdex.comThey didn't respond for that. This is really annoying as Amica is wasting my time. I expect Revdex.com to highlight this as Amica's non-ethical, non-customer friendly behavior

We are writing with respect to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.comAfter careful review of your account, we recognize that three separate payments were made on November 26, As discussed over the phone the same day, these payments were applied to your outstanding account
balance and your current balanceTo ensure clarity, and considering some payments were made via our Amica.com self-service, our representative confirmed with you the amounts and methods of payments as well as remaining balancesUnfortunately, the amount received was insufficient to avoid cancelation of your automobile policyWe reached out to you on December 4, 2017, but were unable to discuss your account further Please feel free to call our local branch office at your earliest convenience

Amica Mutual Insurance has been attempting to amicably resolve this claim for the perceived diminishment in value to the claimant’s *** AWe do not intend to use the Revdex.com as a forum for negotiating this matter. Amica extended a full and final offer on behalf of our policyholder in exchange for a properly executed property damage releaseOur offer remains the same and remains open. It should be noted that the repair cost of a vehicle and the severity of the damage to a vehicle do have an influence on the perceived diminishment in value to a vehicle. In addition, automobile dealerships purchase vehicles from private owners for or near the travalue of the vehicle, not the retail value. The claimant’s attached documentation of “*** A3-*** Showroom Estimate June 2016” is an average of “Auction” prices, not retail prices for a *** A3. Amica Mutual Insurance remains willing to settle the perceived diminishment in value claim on behalf of our policyholder with a signed property damage release

We are
writing with respect to the complaint you filed with the RevDex.com. We have
carefully reviewed your account and confirmed the premiums charged for the time
the coverages were in affect are correct. It does appear, however,
we misinterpreted some of the
policy changes you had requested, resulting in
confusion and unanticipated updates being sent to the North Carolina Department
of Motor Vehicles We would like to apologize for these errors and
discuss this with you at your earliest convenience In order to rectify
this situation and ensure you have no issues with the North Carolina Department
of Vehicles, we plan to reinstate your automobile policy and provide you with
the appropriate FSfiling to demonstrate there was no gap in liability
coverage When
you reached out to us in early November looking for help regarding your
cancelled Amica automobile policy, we did not anticipate the file handler you
had been working with would be out of the office We thank you for
continuing to work with us and look forward to hearing from you in order to
assure all issues are resolved

[After meeting with the adjuster the first time before I filed the complaint, I don't trust him or his judgement on the fact that he did not engineer the vehicle or had any involvement of it's design or manufacturing and it's the "you scratch my back I'll scratch you're back" system that is setup between the insurance, insurance adjuster, and whomever the body shop may beThe insurance wants to pay the least amount possible even if it means the vehicle is not restored to the previous condition the policy holder damaged, the insurance adjuster just wants to please the insurance to further receive more business, and the body shop just wants the work for profit and not customer care or serviceAmica did say the disassembly of the vehicle can be done anywhere for further investigation a sound scientific reportI will have the disassembly of the vehicle recorded for the judge when I file a charge against the policy holder and insurance in small claims court with all my supporting documentsI am an entry level engineer so I believe I can and will give a clear report compared to adjuster's eyeball method of my new MSRP $61,vehicle. The vehicle's fender will be replaced with a new one and since the insurance is going to extreme lengths not to pay for the damage their policy holder did, I will have to pay it out of pocket and show this to the judge as well with all my other supporting documents ]

Thank
you for your feedback. We take customer service seriously and regret that

representative about these concerns in August and that they were able to assist
you. Please let us know if you need
anything further

We are writing in response to the complaint you submitted to the Revdex.com. It’s our understanding that one of our representatives has called and left you several voicemails regarding your claim. In order to address your concerns further, please reach back out to us at your earliest convenience. Thank...

you.

We are writing with respect to your additional comments related the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com.Your Amica automobile policy affords coverage effective February 13, 2017 to April 26, 2017. Without documentation from you confirming coverage was placed elsewhere prior to April 26, 2017, we will be unable to amend the cancellation date and the earned premium will remain due for the amount of time coverage was in effect. If further clarification is needed, please reach out to us so we may discuss further.

We are writing with respect to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com.   Vehicle garaging is one of the many factors used to determine insurance premiums. For your review, the “Colorado Private Passenger Automobile Insurance Summary Disclosure Form”, included as part of your...

renewal policy, outlines reasons your premium may increase including changes to vehicle garaging.   On October 5, 2017, you called Amica to advise us of a pending address change. In an effort to properly update your account, we attempted to reach you several times in January, February, and March. While we were delayed verifying your address, and despite assessor information indicating your address changed in November, we updated your policy with the information you provided effective March 7, 2018. Since the initial delay was unintended, and as it would have resulted in a greater premium increase, in the spirit of customer service we did not backdate the address change.   While we understand updating your address resulted in a premium increase, we are obliged to accurately code your policy and account based on information you provide to us. We appreciate you taking the time to discuss this matter further and have cancelled your policy as requested. Please be assured, since the policy was cancelled April 21, 2018, no further changes will be processed.   We are disheartened to see you leave our company under these circumstances, and thank you for your business. Should you like to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to reach out to our local office.

We are writing with respect to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com. After careful review of your account, we have confirmed that your policy was cancelled effective October 20, 2017 due to non-payment of premium.  A notice of pending cancelation, dated October 3, 2017, was...

sent to address of record. This notice indicated that receipt of minimum payment prior to October 20,2017 would permit us to continue with the policy in force. This cancelation notice also outlined the civil penalty associated with a lapse in insurance coverage of 90 days or less. Regrettably, we did not receive the necessary payment. As such, the policy was cancelled October 20, 2017, and your payment received October 24, 2017 was applied to the outstanding account balance.  Our records show that you have successfully utilized Amica.com to make payments throughout the policy period, and have also made payments via telephone. We do not have any record of a recent request to update your billing method, and do offer the option for policyholders to sign up for automatic payments via Amica.com If you would like to discuss your account further, please feel free to contact us.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns through the Revdex.com. It’s our understanding that one of our representatives has reviewed and settled this claim and that a payment will be issued later today. If you have any further questions, please let us know.Tell us why here...
