However, I will never do business with these folks again.
They took complete responsibility for the situation then I received a bill for the interest on the payment I was overcharged.
As you can see from the steam of conversation, they have never taken responsibility for the error. They have constantly placed the responsibility on me. This is not a professional way to conduct business.

We would like to thank Ms. [redacted] for her follow up to our response.   In her response she refers to sales agents "you" (we) send to "targeted neighborhoods".  Aqua Finance, Inc. is a finance company in Wausau, Wisconsin.  Each dealership we conduct business with is independent and is not affiliated with our company.  We do not send agents to neighborhoods.  The contract and credit application signed by Ms. [redacted] in May of 2014 was sent to Aqua Finance by Indiana Refined Water Consultants.  Her loan was approved and we then lent her the money for the purchase she made.  I would like to reiterate the information from our initial response that Ms. [redacted] verified the terms of the loan on May 29, 2014.  Calls were made to Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] beginning in July of 2014 regarding delinquent payments on the loan.  We had sent multiple letters in an attempt to contact Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] in regards to their loan and unfortunately were unable to make contact. As stated in my previous response, I would be happy to speak to Ms. [redacted] personally regarding the UCC lien on her property or negotiating a mutually beneficial agreement to assist her.  She may contact me at ###-###-####.  Thank you.  [redacted]

We wish to thank Ms. [redacted] for bringing her concerns to our attention.  She is a valued customer and we hope we can provide some clarity to her situation.  On July 6, 2015 Ms. [redacted] financed solar products through Aqua Finance, Inc.  She was offered a promotion on her loan that...

states the following: The APR will have an introductory rate of 5.9% for the first 12 months.  The APR will be 13.99% after 12 months.  The minimum monthly payment factor disclosed on this Revolving Credit Sales slip is hereby reduced to 1.0% for the first 12 months.  The minimum monthly payment factor will be 1.5 after 12 months.  (See Revolving Credit Agreement for full description of minimum monthly payments.)  Ms. [redacted] signed this Promotional Credit Plan Addendum on July 6, 2015.  I am including a copy for her to reference.  Her minimum monthly payment for the 1st 12 months was $100.00.  Her payment increased to $150.00 as outlined in the promotion, on July 11, 2016.   A billing statement generated on June 18th, 2016 provides a notice that the Introductory Interest Rate and Minimum Monthly Payment Factor is expiring.   I have included a copy of this for review.  As part of standard procedure for Aqua Finance, Inc. an initial call is made to our customers to verify the terms of their loan and to ensure that the equipment is functioning properly.  This is done before the loan is processed and the call is recorded.  A call was made to Ms. [redacted] on July 14, 2015 and she did verify that she possessed copies of her contract and agreed to the terms.  She also stated the equipment was installed and working properly.  On July 16, 2015 Ms. [redacted]’s loan was sold to Connexus Credit Union.  Aqua Finance, Inc. continues to be the servicer for her loan.  The sale of her loan did not change the terms of her agreement.   We certainly empathize with Ms. [redacted]’s frustrations regarding the amount of interest paid towards her loan.  I have included a Statement of her Account that details when payments were made.  As outlined in the Retail Installment Credit Agreement, there is no penalty for prepayment and the full amount due can be paid at any time.  If Ms. [redacted] desires to pay off in advance the full amount due, the amount which is outstanding will be furnished upon request.  Again, I would like to thank Ms. [redacted] for reaching out to us.  If she has any further questions, she is welcome to contact me directly at [redacted]  Katie [redacted] AVP – Compliance & Recovery [redacted]

In response to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, Aqua Finance did not take a $500 deposit from him on his American Express Card.  The selling Dealer where he bought his Water System may have, but Aqua Finance did not.  The selling Merchant and Aqua Finance are...

two separate entities.Also, Aqua Finance's internal policy is to not accept monthly payments via credit cards, period.  It does not matter if the customer is 21 or 81 or anywhere in between in regards to age.Mr. [redacted] is making assumptions he can't substantiate.  It is perfectly legal to not accept payments via credit cards, as a matter of policy.However, on January 19th, the DAY BEFORE THIS COMPLAINT WAS FILED, his Dealer where he bought the system from called us to se if we could make a one time exception for Mr. [redacted]?We agreed to do that and told the Dealer that on January 19th, and then Mr. [redacted] files a com paint on the 20th?  As stated to his dealer, we will take a one time payment, thru his American Express or any other credit card to pay the account off in full.  This offer is valid thru January 30th.

Mr. [redacted],  As stated in the letter sent to you on April 5, 2017 we received a credit application from Advanced Water Treatment on your behalf.  This was for a water treatment system.  This process begins with you the customer completing a credit application and then Advanced Water Treatment Systems contacts Aqua Finance, Inc. who then pulls your credit which was authorized when you completed the credit application.  If you did not authorize this transaction or complete a credit application with Advanced Water Treatment Systems, we would recommend you file a police report regarding Identity Theft.  As this transaction was initiated by Advanced Water Treatment Systems, we recommend you contact them as well.  If evidence of identity theft is confirmed we will be able to remove the inquiry, but at this time we believe this credit application was legitimately completed.  Please call me with any questions at ###-###-#### extension [redacted].  Thank you.

received a promotion on this loan for 12 months same as cash. This states that if the balance is not paid in full within 12 months, interest will be imposed from the date of purchase.   Mr. [redacted] states that the promotional financing end date is not "readily available" on our online billing website.  This is inaccurate.  Every billing statement is available 24/7 through our online billing system and Mr. [redacted] is also enrolled to receive his billing statement emailed to him monthly.  Each billing statement states the promotion due date in the middle of the statement which I have attached for your reference.  We will not be able to waive the outstanding interest on the loan as Mr. [redacted] did not complete his pay-off within the 12 month time frame.  If he has any further questions, he may contact me directly at ###-###-#### ext. We wish to thank Mr. [redacted] for reaching out to us regarding his concerns with Pride Contractors.  As the finance company, independent from the Dealership; we take these complaints very seriously and hope we can assist you in resolving them as quickly as possible.  Upon receipt of the...

complaint, we reached out to Pride Contractors immediately.  They stated they had received multiple calls from Mr. [redacted]. Each time, a contracted Plumber was sent to his house at no cost to Mr. [redacted].  Each time it was determined that there was no problem. An issue then arose with concerns regarding the drain line leaking.  The contracted Plumber came out to Mr. [redacted]'s home.  It was determined that the mud puddle in Mr. [redacted]'s yard was caused by leaking outdoor faucets, but in an effort to provide exemplary service, the Plumber redirected the drain line directly to the sewer.  Pride Contractors was then contacted by Mr. [redacted] who stated he had unfortunately lost his job and could no longer afford the water treatment system and again stated he was unhappy with the product.  Pride Contracts again in an effort to assist Mr. [redacted], offered to completely switch out the water treatment system at no charge, but Mr. [redacted] then refused to let them back to the house.   We are sensitive to difficult situations and understand that if Mr. [redacted] is experiencing a financial hardship, we welcome him to contact our office and arrange a manageable payment plan.  Mr. [redacted] may contact me directly at ###-###-#### ext.1181.  Based on the information we have gathered, we believe that Pride Contracts has done everything in their power to assist Mr. [redacted] with his service issues.  If he wishes to discuss his loan obligation, we will be available to assist him with that.  Thank you. Katie [redacted]

I have requesting a credit on my account to offset the extra expense.

Regarding the latest complaint form Mr. [redacted]:Until such time as we actually receive payment from [redacted]/your Dealer, you will continue to received statements as the debt is still out there.We have been assured we will receive it by February 5, 2015.  Once we receive payment, and it clears his Bank, the account will be closed out and no more statements will be sent out.

separate entity from AquaFeel Solutions.  We have reached out to AquaFeel Solutions and they provided us with records on the [redacted] account.  Based on the information received by AquaFeel Solutions, the complaint was initiated April 18, 2017.  Ms. [redacted] stated at that time the system was not working properly.  A water test was conducted and failed and Ms. [redacted] was told she would have to wait 72 hours to cycle the water.  ON May 15, 2017 Ms. [redacted] called AquaFeel Solutions and a message was left for a returned call.  Approximately 20 minutes later a supervisor contacted her and was told by a third party that she was unavailable.   On May 26, 2017 AquaFeel Solutions spoke with Ms. [redacted] again and offered her several options to rectify the situation including a brand new system installed for free, additional soap and a $100.00 gift card.  Ms. [redacted] rejected these offers and said it was not enough.  Based on the information provided we believe AquaFeel has made reasonable attempts to resolve this matter.  We are unsure what Ms. [redacted] wants.  There was a problem, AquaFeel attempted to resolve it and Ms. [redacted] chose to reject their resolutions.  Aqua Finance's position is that satisfactory attempts were made to assist her and believe this matter is closed.  We are unable to cancel the loan and the contract remains legally enforceable.   If Ms. [redacted] would like to discuss further she may contact our office at ###-###-#### extension [redacted].  Thank you.  Katie [redacted]AVP - Compliance[redacted]

Our backyard loan with them has been paid off for over a year, but there is still a lien on the house. I found that out when I applied for a refinance of my mortgage and they said they wont be able to complete it until the lien is removed. These guys should be investigated and banned from doing business. So frustrated! Their customer service people are just rude and awful. And not helpful at all.

Review: I purchased a water purification system in December 2011 from Environmental Water Solutions (EWS) (financed through [redacted] Financial). [redacted] Financial sold the loan to Aqua Finance. EWS is no longer in business, and therefore the service warranty I had with them is nullified. I have been unable to find anyone to take responsibility for the maintenance of this product as was part of the original purchase agreement. Furthermore, it has come to my attention that there was a lien placed against my mortgage for the cost of this product, even though I have consistently made payments and received no notification of judgment/lien, etc. I have also been unable to obtain justification of the total amount outstanding (i.e.. I purchased the product in 12/2011 for $5990 yet four years later, I am told I still owe $5010. This is not accurate based on the interest rate I was provided under the loan).Desired Settlement: I would like to have an itemized billing statement showing each of the payments I have made along with how they were applied in accordance to the balance due. I would also like to have the original warranty reinstated and service provided accordingly.

If both items cannot be complied with, I would like the purchase agreement dismissed for breach of contract and the loan closed out. The company may pick up their product.

Review: I no longer have an auto loan with this company since August 2015. I have called several times to both customer service and the insurance verification company asking them to stop sending letters requesting car insurance verification and stating they will be charging me car insurance on the car. Customer service keeps saying they will take care of it but every time I called they say they don't see any notes or any records of me calling but I have notes on all the letters with the dates and customer service reps names I have discussed this issue with.Desired Settlement: Please note to the car insurance verification company that my auto loan is paid off and no additional letters sent to me.

Review: Aqua finance has a lien against my home for a roof that I am financing through them. I was never told that there was going to be alien against my property. Now I am trying to refinance and can't because they have a lien and will not let the refinance go through. I would be able to save over $300.00 per month. I could use this to pay off the loan quicker but I guess they don't see it that way. I need to resolve this issue. If I had the money I would pay off the loan I just simply don't have it. I want them to be second lien holder so I can refinance. Please helpDesired Settlement: I want Aqua finance to allow this refinance to go through.

In response to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint: Aqua Finance, Inc. files UCC Fixture Filing liens on our secured loans to perfect our interest and secure the collateral. This is a normal business practice that is done on our loans on a daily basis. If Ms. [redacted] contacts our office, we have the ability to do a "subordination" which would drop our position as lien holder and allow a Refinance to go through. The lien would remain on the property, but she would be able to proceed with her refinance. If Ms. [redacted] is interested in discussing this option she may contact our office at ###-###-####. Review: Carmel Financial sold our loan to Aqua Fiance. Aqua Finance wants me to mail my money to a Connexus Credit Union but Aqua Finance will not supply me with proof of my loan. When I call the telephone number provided for Connexus Credit Union on the letter I was told they do not have my loan I need to call Aqua directly. When I called Aqua directly I was told the only proof they will send me is that letter. I cannot get in touch with anyone at Carmel Financial to talk with. I am not comfortable sending my money to someone who will not send me proof of my loan.Desired Settlement: I do NOT have a home telephone, the only thing I want is proof of Aqua Financial having my loan and I will continue to pay my loan. I have been paying Carmel Financial without missing a payment and I do not want my credit ruined because of this.

This company put a lien on my home while I paid off the water softener but never released the lien once the water softener was paid off. Its been over 2 years, since I paid them in full. I called and they said they would release the lien because I was correct I paid it off. I needed it off immediately and they said it was out of their hands on how long it took. They have had over 2 years to release this lien and they have not done so. This is costing me money and anguish and this company doesn't care what so ever!

Review: This company should be banned to do business or financing. They charge a high interest rate; that keep people always owing for the RainSoft product. I will be contacting RainSoft as well to speak with them about promoting this company.I received my first statement that stated there were 30 days in the billing cycle; the interest seemed reasonable; it was around $30.00. The 2nd statement I received it again stated there were 30 days in the billing cycle but the interest was approximately $88.00 Of course I called, but the person I spoke with wasn't concerned about keeping a customer, or making anyone happy and only stated, it was a daily interest rate.I received a call today stating I owed $16.00; my payments are only $116 monthly, and I sent in $103 on 2/18 (for the March payment) and I sent $100 on 3/3; paying $203 for the month of March, but they told me that I was still $16 short; even "[redacted]" stated, 'something is not adding up; this isn't right'. He put me on hold, and came back and stated yes, you owe $16.00; but failed (or couldn't)tell me how or why I still owed $16.00.To be in financing, they should have to be 'fair'; especially since people (like me) make their payments, on time and always try to pay extra.I want the public to know what crooks they are!!!Desired Settlement: I would like to keep a good working relationship with all of my creditors. If possible, I would like someone to look at my account and see if the interest rate could be better than what they are raping me for. At the rate they are charging I would NEVER pay off my unit--which is not the end result in helping anyone but this company get richer.If this cannot be done, I would like (without penalty) for another company to take this account over; someone that CARES about their clients!

with the Revdex.com. The contract

[redacted] signed on December 5, 2014 detailed the terms of her loan along

with the interest rate of 17.99%. On

December 16, 2014 a representative from Aqua Finance, Inc. contacted Ms. [redacted]

to verify the terms of her loan as we do with all of our customers. This call is recorded and saved in our office. During this call, we reviewed the terms of

the loan to which she agreed to. Ms.

[redacted] is questioning the amount of interest paid and also the payments made on

her loan. Her loan is set up as a

Revolving Credit loan, much like a credit card.

Her minimum payment is 2% of the amount she financed and there is no “fixed

term” on the loan. The minimum monthly

payment must be made in each billing cycle and the loan cannot be paid “ahead”. Therefore if Ms. [redacted] makes a payment on

February 3rd and again on February 18th, both will be

applied to the month of February. Because

Ms. [redacted] paid $206.00 on February 3rd and 103.00 on February 18th,

a total of $309.00 was applied to February’s monthly payment. She then made a payment of $100.00 on March 3rd,

2015. Because her minimum monthly

payment is $116.00, she was short $16.00, thus the reason for our call to her

on March 23, 2015.

A billing statement is sent out each month which explicitly

shows the interest rate, interest charged, and estimated loan duration. I have included a copy of the billing

statement along with the Revolving Credit Agreement provided to Ms. [redacted] at

the time of sale. I trust this

explanation satisfies this matter, but if Ms. [redacted] has any further questions,

she may contact me directly at ###-###-####.
