Culligan rep. offered 3 different finance schemes to pay for my new water softener:
1.- pay it up in one lump sum with a discount
2.- pay it off in 6 payments - no interest
3.- pay it off in 2 or more years - regular loan with interest
I chose option 2, but when I got my bill noticed that I was charged considerably less than expect. The second bill I received had a breakdown of charges: amount towards principal, interest and total amount due. Again the total amount was considerably less than expected and I was surprised to see an interest charge. After a call I determined that the amount due was for a 3 year loan not what I had signed up for. They did not offer to reissue the bill to reflect the correct finance agreement and told me orally what I should pay so as to avoid interest charges.
I would not deal with them again.

Review: I was in the process of purchasing a solar panel system for my house and was dealing with a company called Energy Solutions, who's parent company is RenuEn. When negotiating with the company my wife and I were concerned about the product producing the power that the company representative claimed it would. We informed him that we would not sign any contracts until we were absolutely sure of what we were buying. The sales representative explained to us that we would get a six month trial to ensure that the panels work as he claimed. This all turned out to be lies. The sales rep forged my signature upon a sales contract. I notified Aqua Finance of this immediately. I had no proof at the time that my signature was forged but once I pulled all the permit documentation my worst fears came true. My signature wasn't only forged on multiple documents, it was notarized by an individual that I have never met. I have made contact with Aqua Finance and explained the situation and that I was seeking legal action against the RenuEn. I recently wrote a letter to Aqua Finance and attached other forged documents that RenuEn signed before installing the solar panels on my house. Previously before discovering the forgeries I demanded from RenuEn that I receive what they promised or they come and take their product back and pay to have my roof completely fixed. I also requested all the originals of the documents they allege that I have signed. My requests have gone ignored. The dilemma that Aqua Finance has is that I have not signed any contract, therefor I do not owe them any money. I will testify in court over the authenticity of those signatures on any document that shows any kind of contract. I have a hand writing expert ready to examine original copies. I suggest Aqua Finance seek their money back from RenuEn as it appears we both have been duped.Desired Settlement: Since I do not have a legal contract with any of the companies in question, I do not owe money to Aqua Finance or Connexus or whatever company they want to call themselves. I am prepared to bring all evidence I have of these forgeries with me to any hearing that might follow. I suggest they take their financial dispute up with RenuEn, Energy Sollutions, SDI Solar and leave me out of it.

We are in receipt of Mr. [redacted]'s complaint and respond as follows:

Review: Since Day one we have been having issues with this water system filter. The sales man never came back to check the water after the installation. We noticed that the salt was not being absorbed when we called the company they told us that it was not to use that much salt. We left messages with the company and the sales man and never got a call back. The filter went 2 months not working, they finely sent someone out to fix it then it started working again. We started to notice water on the floor since the beginning. of Feb. 2014 but were not sure if it was the system or not, so we called them and the lady said there was supposed to be moisture. In the Begging of Mar. 2014 we saw where the water was coming from it was from one of the hoses that go into the filter, every time it would rinse it would spill the water through the hose. We called the company it took 4 calls to finally get [redacted] on the phone. When we spoke to [redacted] he was rude and questioned us on how we even knew that the filter was not working, said he would call us the next day to give us a day on when he would send out the plumber, it took him one week to call back with a date. The plumber came out and fixed it again this time he set the timer to flus at every 2500 gal. Instead of 1500 like the sales man said it would, we still notice no change in the water and the suds. We have tried in good faith to fix this problem have gave our payments on time and we are not happy with this product. On 5-31-14 I had a repair main go over to my house, I asked him does the salt container need to have water in it he said yes a little, I said well for the past 10 months it has not had any water in it does that mean it has not been working? He said yes you just can’t see it, I showed him the salt container and he did not know what to say.Desired Settlement: I would like to return the product and not have to pay the outstanding balance on it, If I could get a refund for the 10 months that the fillter has not been working.

Response:

In response to the "complaint" from Mr. [redacted], first and foremost, the complaint is in regards to the product he purchased from AquaKleen Products, and the service he is

receiving. Aqua Finance Inc is not a party to the sale, other than to finance the purchase on the request and application from Mr. [redacted] himself. If there is an issue with the

Review: I purchased a water treatment system in October 2014 I was approved for a loan trough Aqua Finance. shortly there after I needed to add a water softener. there is a balance carried on the 1st loan of 4096.67 the price of the product was lower than that. Aqua Finance opened a separate account for this item and almost tripled the interest rate.Desired Settlement: join to two accounts to one the 1st with better interest rate.

Response:

In regards to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, we have talked to him several times regarding this issue and why it cannot be added to the first account he opened. It has to do with the fact his first account has a "promotional rate" for the specific purchase, not the total credit line. This promotional rate is paid for via
