I have a contract with Addario's to do my duct system and plumbingHowever when I ask them to install my appliances they said it is not covered by contractThey said the contract is only rough plumbingMy house is under construction and rough plumbing has been done already so I don't think it should be charge on the contract since this is done alreadyI specifically asking them to finish all my plumbing when I paid themsince my house is under constructionI asked them to come back when I am ready to do the plumbing partThey did one part without issues but when I am calling them again they refused and charging to complete the project

Addario sold us what they said was a "service contract" for $that we believed covered plumbing & heating service When we tried to use it they said it was not a service contract but instead was a "membership plan" which means they come access the problem and then you get a 15% discount on their service This was not how it was sold to us and we would never have bought it if they told us what it really was I asked for a refund as we have not used it and don't want to do business with a dishonest company like this but they said no to my request for a refundI would just like a refund which I believe is a very reasonable request

I would give stars Very expensive company Why do they have such a good rating here when there *** review is horrible? They send a tech out to replace a water flow sensor on a combo water heater/heater( no tank, ***) They charged over $and ordered the part...They told me the part was $when I could find the part for $onlineThey told me it was $part They showed up replaced the part and then it didn't solve the problem and wanted to charge another $for another part and left me without hot water for a weekend

Had an assessment for a furnace, tankless water heater, condenser and everything went great with the salesmanFew weeks later passed and finally someone reached out to find out if we’d be paying the 10% down and I gave him my credit card informationThen they called to tell me that the furnace and condenser we wanted were no longer in stock, so we had to change to another brand, which was cheaper, but they still charged us the same amount stating that they ‘upgraded’ usThey then took over a month to schedule a plumber to come out to get the work started The plumber was amazing, but he came with very different instructions of what the job entailedHe did all the work he could in three days, but then said that the electrician should have been there that last day and hadn’t shown up because they were at another jobI’ve called numerous times to get them in so that the plumber can finish out his part and the electrician as well, but no one gets back to me to arrange thisToday I g

I had some plumbing work done back in January having to have a new shower put in They did a Great job so great that I said to the plumber that day this makes my tub look disgusting and I see you do new bathtubs etc He said yes I will give you a number to call So I did and when the sales person came down with catalogs etc I was impressed with doing it in ONE Day so I booked it in late January so they said as soon as the parts come in they will call me Well the parts came in on March and I had them start March and they are still not done! The carpenter shows up at 4:00pm and wants to stay until 11:00pm to hopefully finish the job Twice I told them to go home by 9:00pm I think that is very disrespectful when I have an year old mother that is in bed at a decent hour and my daughter has to go to school in the morning and I am tired from working all day that I do not want to hear the noise up until 11PM My point is this was advertised as a day bath remodel not weeks

We agreed to a an estimate given by Addario Plumbing for a renovation project that included new heating and central air conditioning systemsThe scope of the project changed after the original estimate was done due to structural issues and Addario revised his estimate This new estimate was rejected due to its extremely high cost, over % more and tens of thousands of dollars above other accredited professionals with great reputations in the fieldWe canceled the project and offered to pay for work performed*** Addario refused to give us a refund and / or a cost for any of the work that was performed(disconnection of plumbing and meeting with general contractor to learn scope of project and heat loan paperwork submitted)We told Addario both verbally and via email that we he is fired and we want our deposit refunded and he has not replied to this requestHe has exhibited all kinds of behaviors upon learning we have no plans to go forward with his firmHe has used guilt

My experience with Addarios was so unpleasant, that I wish there was a Zero Star optionI originally called them based on my AC Unit not blowing cold airWhen they came, they charged me an exorbitant $to evaluate the unit and determine that they would need over $more to get an accurate diagnosis of where my leak may beThe technician indicated that I most likely would need to rip apart walls or replace major components in addition to this chargeI promptly decided to call another company which came within a few days, found the leak, refilled the system, and did all of this the same day for appx $Addarios is a classic price gauging company

Steve Addario is a stand up guy who runs a stand up businessI would their organization in my home any day

Fast, efficient and professional!!!

We hired Addarios to install central air conditioning in our farmhouse in April We paid them $26,to install two systems - one at each end of the house One of the two systems does not work Never did Scores of phone calls, no show appointments, visits from their HVAC guys who blame it on the electrician (hired by them); electrician blames it on the HVAC guys Breaker burned out and condenser fried It is now late June and I have to call them to get any response, and each time I have to re-explain the problem, and they say they will call me back, or can't get someone here, or promise they will come and no one shows We are readying to file suit in court to try to recover our money

After dealing with the owner directly for almost two years all I can say is that he has the utmost integrityAs a business owner myself it is refreshing to find a leader that cares more about his employees and customers than his bottom line

On 9/14/17, I scheduled Addario plumbing to look at an issue with roof drain leaking in our condo in BelmontThe person arrived on time and was very politeHe didn't have the equipment to troubleshoot the issuei.eladder and a hose He scheduled a subsequent visit for 9/21/to run the diagnostics and charged $On that scheduled date (9/21), he arrived on time and called me afterwardsHe promised to prepare two quotes one with just to fix the plumbing issue (w/ permits)Then another with fixing the issue with involving a plumber as well as a roofer Up until 09/21/17, I was very impressed with the customer service
From there on everything went downhillUp until today 10/11/17, I haven't heard from Addario or the plumberI've called timesEach time the dispatcher said that the plumber will call me that day or within an hourpromises!!! I left them a review explaining my experienceAgain, I haven;t heard from Addario

I wished that I could give negative stars! The company not only have poor service but also ripping me off I as was asked to pay for an emergency fee of $for coming in to the house within an hour, but the technician did not show up until hours later After minutes checking my heating system, I was asked to pay $diagnostic fee At the end of the checking, the technician cannot determine what was wrong and asked me to pay him another $to replace a thermostat just to see if that might be the problem Such a disgusting company, I have never had worse than that experience in my life

Don't use this company! They love to make appointments and then never show (without notice!)When asked about this, they try to blame the customer, or don't even call back

I had a clogged garbage disposal and a continuously running toilet I got the name of a reputable plumber through a friend, but happened to lose the contact info Since I remembered the name, I just Googled the plumber's name and got a phone number, which was associated with him on *** and *** list Wrongthis was a complete scam and brought me, unknowingly, to Addario's!
When the "technicians" showed up, they were wearing shirts that said "Addario's" on them I asked how they knew the plumber I was trying to reach and of course, they had no answer, because they had somehow attached that plumber's name to their own business
Ultimately, I got charged $for garbage cleanup disposal and a replacement of my toilet trapper The toilet trapper cost me $and wasn't even replaced

My tank water heater broke, and I hired Addario's to come out to assessI was considering a tankless heater before, but wanted to see my optionsA very competent professional person came out to assess my situation and explained me that tank water heaters have a shorter life time and shorter warrantyOn his panel of offers, his tank water heaters were between $- $with installation and 5-year warranty, the tankless $6,minus $*** ***I opted for the HTP RGH (BTU) for $6,with installationThe team came out and installed the heater when agreed upon, and did a pretty good job, although it took all day, and they damaged my sink when they drilled screws for a tubing for the condensation drainage in there without asking where the drainage should goHowever, before they left after 8pm, one of the young plumbers said to me: our electrician wants to talk to you about the panel - he has to connect the heater to the panel and has to make an appointment - he will call you tomorrow, or you can call himI thought, ok, no big dealWhen I called him the next day, he said that I have to replace my Amp breaker panel so that it can handle the water heaterHe quoted me quotes for this, between $and $depending on the kind of breakers involvedWhen I then reviewed the data sheets of the heater more carefully, and looked at the specifications of my heater, I realized that they actually installed a RGH 150, which is $1,cheaper off-shelf than the RGH And, I, as non-electrician could not find any documentation that the (gas) water heater needs extremely powerful breakers, maybe a power surge protector (which I have through my solar system), that's allMy criticism:
1: Overprized: HTP shelf prize $HTP $--> their total $2: Information about electric requirements: either it needs more amperage - then they should have disclosed it at contract agreement, and not after installation, or not, and then it was outright fraudulentSummary: The heater works, plugged into a grounded outlet, I am still researching whether I need to do something about the electricityI froze the payments to the firm until I get a rebate for the lesser model installed

Currently having a horrible experience with this companyI have a property consisting of four apartmentsEach contains its own steam heater in the basementback in September 18th I had requested maintenance and system flush on the four steam heatersI was initially charged $for three hours of work without my permissionAfter a week of trying to reach and argue back and forth the price was slightly reduced to Keep in mind that the rate the rate they charged me was $346/hour, plus $initial feeFor three hours of "Work" let me elaborate as the problems continue from here
On the 3rd of December one of my tenant's heat went out and I called them to schedule an appointment for the next dayIt turns out that the Boiler/heater automatically turned off due to a build up of pressureThe representative/technician spent minutes in the house switched the heater back on and left without confirming that the tenants received heat or getting to the root cause of the issue

Addario's Service Company is clearly hands down the best service one can receive in WoburnThey have provided us with the best service possible we will keep using you over and over again
