Good afternoon,
I have read the message that has been sent to me about my complaint with the Ashley Home Store.
It is correct that I have been advised that I haven't paid for the nightstand! But that only happened because the consultant wasn't aware of his jobSince he let me believe it came in the 5pc set.
Also as mentions several times before the store only offered 10% off the price to order the nightstandIt is a lie that they offered to deliver to me at no charge because that was never mentioned during my two conversations I had with them
Also I declined for the furniture to be picked up for a full refund because I am leaving the area soon and that would't give me enough time to search for a new set ( military move)Would they have delivered it to me on time as they stated in my order I would have done itBut delivery sadly happened weeks after the given time!
Since the store don't want to acknowledge their mistake, this is going to be an unresolved issue!
Without hesitation I give Ashley Home Store in Fredericksburg Vaa F rating due to not being honest with customers

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I met with Rod, the store manager, on Sunday at 1pm He made an offer to replace our purchase with any item not on sale by 50% off He also would include the warranty for free.I then showed step by step why the warranty was bogus The more I showed him The more I realized that he did not know anything about the warranty's limitations.He then offered a letter stating that he would back the warranty 100% To this I stated again that the warranty did not cover anything.He then asked for an example I stated that if you vomit the warranty is void He tried to get his manager to state that it covered vomit But his manager said she did not know I said here is the warranty Read it for yourself He then said I will cancel your contract if that is what you want I said yes, thank you He then said, "I need to check with corporate office before I can do that You will here from me in hours." So by July 1st I should hear back I am almost sure he will not cancel the contract given his previous reputation

delivered used merchandiseThe consumer was advised the merchandise delivered to her home was delivered new from the manufacture, as merchandise is specifically ordered for our consumers at the time of purchaseThe consumer was also advised at no time would we allow used merchandise to be delivered as it is prohibited per Virginia state law and against our own policies and procedures to do so.In regards to the condition of the merchandise, a service technician was sent to the consumers home to inspect and assess the condition of the delivered merchandiseThe merchandise was found to meet all manufacture specifications at that timeThe consumer remained dissatisfied and cushion casings and cores were placed on order as a courtesyThe consumer has since refused all efforts to address her concerns via repairs and the offer was extended to pick up and refund the merchandise with a 30% restocking feeThe consumer was advised the 30% restocking fee was implemented solely due to our advisement that the all merchandise was delivered in full, new and met all manufacture specificationsPer the consumers advisement in the letter brought forth we do feel we have made a genuine effort to come to an amicable and fair resolution to resolve her concernsAs previously advised we are more than pleased to address the consumers concerns as originally advised via servicePictures are furnish able upon request to support our findings with the consumers merchandise. I have spoken to the guest. We have refund the desk that was delayed. There is a service order in for the entertainment center and we have ordered the necessary parts. I am working to get the parts soon to get the entertainment center assembled. I will follow up with the
guest on the service

I am waiting for a technician to come to my house to repair the sofaCalled on 2/15/week and I had to call again todayThey informed me the technician will be at my house on Thursday which is unacceptable because I have a Doctor appointmentThey failed to call me to notify me they had scheduled ab appointment for the repairIt has been reschedule for March I will wait and see what happenThis has been an ongoing process since NovI wish I could give it back to them, I am tired of waitingI hope in the future everything will be inspected by Ashely before it leaves the warehouse and I will have someone here with me to check out my purchase

I am running into a familiar issue that I have had with them for all of these months and that is their lack of responseAs soon as I received this message on Friday I called and left Melanie a voicemail, I also called on Tuesday and again this morningvoicemail messages have been left for her and she has yet to return my call(s) so I am at a loss here of what to do.

This letter is in reference to our customer *** ** *** your case # *** regarding the Ashley Homestore here in Sterling, VAWe here at the Ashley Homestore would like to thank you for bringing *** ** *** concerns to our attention
I have reviewed the consumers complaint, unfortunately our agreement that all customers are given a copy of once they sign it at the time of sale states we reserve the right to repair the furnitureObviously if we are unable to repair the damaged goods we will order new units, but in customers ** ***s case they refused any services, which would lead us to believe they are deciding to keep the furniture as is. After looking further into this customer’s sales order I found that we delivered the products the consumer purchased on June 30, 2010, all delivery receipts were signed off in good conditionThe delivery and service department that came out to the consumer’s home was from the company we used at the time, who followed our guidelines of the agreementSince the service and delivery department were turned over to our Fredericksburg, VA warehousing we have spoke to this customer one time, which was just last week. We explained if they would like us to come out and reassess the damages with another technician even though they are beyond the in home service warranty we would do so but they refused any services as they are demanding only replacement itemsAs previously stated if the customer is refusing services we will assume he has decided to keep the furniture as isAt this time we have an open work order for Al Majid which will be left open until the end of the month as that will put them at their one year mark, and beyond any warrantiesIf they would like for us to move forward we would be more than happy to assist them with their furniture concerns, they may contact our office to schedule a service call Tuesday thru Saturday (8AM-6PM)
