I have tried to call the guest but can't leave a message I will get the delivery fee refunded and the bed pick up if we have not I will continue trying to reach the guest

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [Purchased in full, a piece living room set at Ashley Furniture on 12/4/The receipt stated estimated delivery would be weeksThis was a and deceptive estimationAfter two months of waiting and almost no contact from Ashley furniture, I disputed the charge with my credit card company and the purchase was refundedI re-visited the store to get a grasp of what happened and the regional manager of Ashley furniture apologized and advised it was an oversight, mistake, whatever, and assured me that if re-ordered, she could get the furniture delivered with in a few weeksWell, a month later, the furniture was delivered but it was structurally damagedParts of the couch were falling apart, and the seams on the sofa were stitched crooked, fabric sticking out in placesIt appeared to be assembled in a hurryAfter countless calls to Ashley Furniture customer service, the director of customer service advised she would replace the furniture, taking several more weeks to do soI had already heard that line from Ashley Furniture, so I simply asked the director to call me the following day with clear communication regarding exactly when the furniture would comeThe director of customer service never called me, so I went out and purchased new furniture else whereThe director of customer service emailed me and apologized for not calling but it was too lateThis process has taken over months and was an absolute nightmareI have just received a message from the director of customer service stating that no refund will take placeI have to now take time from work to file paperwork to resolve this matter.] Regards, [redacted]

I would like to re-open the above case with Ashley furnitureOur response: So, we had our brand new sofa delivered this past Wednesday, December 13th We sat down, opened all the recliners and the couch looked good Well during the week, we hardly use the couch, but on the weekends it is our source of refuge Friday night, we go to sit down and finally relax with a glass of wine and I keep wondering why my * year old daughter is sinking sideways into the foot of the recliner, so I get up and look and I can see where the bottom of the reclining chair is completely unattached to the couch itself, not only that but when I touched it, I got stabbed by the nails that it’s supposed to be attached with Then we start looking at the entire couch The exact two pieces of furniture that we had an issue with prior are the same pieces that are broken on the new couch When I say broken, I mean, the bottom bracket of the loveseat is literally hanging off part of it is not even attached to the couch itself Who would have thought that we would need to actually look underneath the couch and pull cushions apart to see if a couch was actually constructed properly? I called and left a message with Deannie like she told us to do and it is now Monday at 4:40pm and we have received no phone call back At this point, there is no switching of furniture or trying to fix it and make it better This company is a rip off and is intentionally selling defective merchandise We just want our money backThank you, [redacted] ***

I have spoken with the guest and explained the policy We will exchange the set for something else but we have a no return policy If the guest purchases something more expensive he has to pay the difference if less the difference is to go on a gift card I am giving the guest an additional 10% off the new purchase for the inconveniences

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The statements made by the company are inaccurateIf I were allowed to explain on the phone the entire situation, which I was not, the store would understand the bed bug bites appeared immediately after delivery of the furnitureWe did not know they were bed bugs until JuneWhen the furniture was delivered in March, the headboard, footboard, and bedframe were unpackagedThe headboard had a "return" label on it and one of the drawers in the footboard had a "damage" tag in itWe were assured there was nothing wrong with it by the delivery person and did not see noticeable damageTherefore, we did not receive brand new furniture as the store claimsFrom April to June, we were being bittenAs soon as we discovered bed bugs on June 23rd, we contacted the store immediately, not June 26thOn June 24th, we were promised a call regarding a solution to our complaint within hours, but did not receive one until June 26th It is not a coincidence that immediately after the arrival of an opened, upholstered headboard, we started to get bed bug bitesThe pest control company's canine dog found bed bugs only in the headboardAgain, that is not a coincidenceWhile were explained how bed bugs live and travel (which we already knew) they were not found in any other location in our house and were not brought in on luggage (which was not used at this time) or clothingThe facts are that whether the store will admit it or not, we were not delivered new merchandise Regards, [redacted] ***
