I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear bel Yes Ashley furniture called me and basically told me that I was stuck with my broken saggy furniture that is only two years oldThe extended warranty is a joke! I will never buy another thing from them! I have also instructed every person I know not to purchase from themI am also going to go and hold a poster in the parking lot and explain that the warranty/protection plan is a JOkE!

I am rejecting this response because:On the day of delivery the men arrived hrslate and were in a rush to leave because they still had to go to Philadelphia for a delivery and they were very late. When Ashley called to ask if everything was OK, I told them that I hadn't had time to inspect everything because they were still putting things together in my home. In fact, we didn't realize that they didn't take the wood off of the dining room table until months later when we went to open it and had to call Ashley again. The men were in such a rush that they didn't even remove the packing material used to ship the furniture. But regardless of that, when I noticed the scratches on my glass kitchen table, I called Ashley several times and told them about the scratches and the dining hutch that didn't close. After several calls, I finally talked to someone who was nice enough to call me back and told me that they would be sending a part to my home and then the service man would come and correct the door. Since the scratches didn't need a part delivered and I had already reported it to another person, I assumed that both items would be taken care of on the day the service man came. While here, he saw the scratches and took a picture of them. I followed it thru with more calls to Ashley and I was told that it was hard to see them in the picture but that the service man put it in his report. Then she told me that I didn't report it on time, however, I did, but they kept transferring me to one another and no-one obviously told the other one. I even called my sales man in Paramus, NJ to tell him and he had them call me back. They know that I called, in fact, several times but their communication with one another was off, in fact, very unprofessional since some people never even had the courtesy to call me back. If this is how they do business, then believe me, they will lose much more than the cost of a glass top. I spent over $5,with them and I will definitely tell anyone I know not to deal with this company. They have showed no respect for the customer, have lied, and have not taken responsibility for the inadequate delivery men they hire. I am sure that this was damaged due to the fast and furious way my furniture was handled, because of their lateness. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company such as this one. I have wasted over to calls or better to them and now they say I didn't report it. Shame on them. *** ***

in addressing her concerns.Original delivery date to the consumer was on 11/18/Shortly after the consumer advised she was displeased with her piers as the doors were not opening/closing in the preferred direction and believed them to be incorrectly installedPlease keep in mind that is in the manufacture design of this product for the doors to be interchangeable for consumer preference purposesAn exchange was offered to the consumer at that time as the consumer remained displeased with the original delivered itemsThe exchange on 12/18/was refused due to the pier doors having the same concerns as beforeIn turn a technician was sent to her home on 2/11/to assist in making the proper adjustments to the pier doors so that they meet the consumers needsThe consumer was displeased with the advisement to have the doors adjusted in home and requested new to be orderedThe request was honored and we attempted to exchange for new on 4/and again on 5/Both attempts to exchange were refused due to the same concerns as the consumer did not want the doors installed prior to deliveryIt was ultimately advised to the consumer the pier doors were installed at factory level, however, we would be pleased to adjust the doors prior to deliveryThe consumer requested new to be ordered again and the request was honoredNew items were ordered for the consumer and were delivered and accepted by the consumer on 6/11/All services were considered rendered in full at that timeIn regards to the offer to extend a gift cardWe do apologize the consumer was not pleased with our offerHowever, it was offered with all good intentions to the consumer as a courtesy as she was displeased wither experience.We do apologize the consumer remains displeased that further compensation was not providedHowever, we do feel we have done everything within our power to address the consumers concerns in a timely and professional manner in an attempt to exceed her services expectationsAt this time all concerns brought forth from this consumer have been considered fully resolved and services rendered in fullShould the consumer have any additional concerns with her purchase we would be our pleasure to provide further assistance.Best Regards,*** ***At this time we here at Ashley Furniture Homestore have done everything with in our power to address the consumers concerns in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer service expectations were exceeded at all points of interactionAll concerns are considered to be fully resolved at this time and services have been fully renderedShould the consumer have any additional concerns with her merchandise it would be our pleasure to further assist her in any way we can.Best Regards,

Even though the items were delivered on months after purchase it was horrible serviceWe were constantly getting the run aroundYou have HORRIBLE business practicesWe were told we had to pick it up in Fredericksburg even though we stated we were picking it up from Colonial HeightsWe then had to wait a few more days for it to be delivered to Colonial HeightsWe will never, EVER purchase from Ashley Furniture again and will make sure others do not as well.

I had to sell my store credit of $for $that's all I could get for itI put adds in the paper , Craigslist and tried to sell it to customers in the parking l lotSo I lost $366.62.I will do every thing I can to discourage my family and friends from using this store

Upon contacting *** regarding my issue, I was actually directed to contact the Ashley store closest to my current address to discuss the matter *** suggested that since the store in which I originally purchased the bedding had been closed, another store could assist When I contacted the store in *** *** ** I was placed on hold several times and finally told to call *** again The customer service department was unwilling to even simply look into the issue It is my understanding that any Ashley store could facilitate with getting comparable replacement siderails (even in light of the fact that the item is discontinued)

The customer contacted Revdex.com and said that while this has since been taken care of by the business he did not agree with the method used or the length of time this took to handle
