Eveything started out fine but then they started charging me extra for one reason or another. I refused to pay after the 3rd time and threatened to go somewhere else if they continue to do this. I had 4 month delay before I moved but once I did, that is when I found out I was missing all kinds of stuff. I have a big 4 poster wood bed with two shelves at the foot board. those and the slates that hold up the mattress are missing. 2 rakes, 2 shovels, hoe, and other gardening tools that was all wrapped together is missing. now today, I find they had destroyed a $350 exercise bike but was able to push the pieces back together so it wasn't noticed till you looked closely. My grill was smashed. I have called 3 times but not one person has answered the phone. If I could I would sue the hell out of them cause I have stuff stolen several times this year, now I have paid someone to rip me off. this company needs to be shut down.

Assurance was on point to get my move don ON BUDGET. These guys don't play around. I spoke to Jordan, then Mike and they set me up with a $4000 relocation package to Chicago from Miami for a 2 bedroom house. No snow, no back breaking, no furniture damaged, no stress... Just had their moving partners come in and take care of it ALL.

I used Assurance Van Lines for my relocation back to south florida. Although the move did take 10 days longer than it was expected, all my belongings arrived intact. I also paid less than I thought I'd pay for a long distance move. Thanks guys, great work.

My experience with Assurance Van Lines was a positive one. I worked with Mark in getting my move scheduled, going over inventory and confirming my move. He was very patient with me and was very professional at all times.

The movers, Eric and Shlomo did a great job in getting everything moving all my belongings without any damage. The only note I'll make is that the costs can go up severely if aren't upfront and aren't sure about furniture size and measurements. Other than that, great brokering service.

I used Assurance recently for my move back to New York and they were pretty awesome. I worked with Vanessa on the phone who is amazing and so sweet.The movers showed up on time and began working very fast and were very careful with all my items. They had the truck packed in less than a day. All of my items showed up in New York and nothing was scratched or broken. The movers unpacked everything and were really great.
They really take pride in their work.

I had a great moving experience with Assurance. Here's why: assurance act as brokers who can get better and cheaper deals when moving long distance. A well known moving company that starts with May... quoted for for $8,000 to do the exact same move that I got with Assurance for $2,900. The only difference? Assurance does not own the trucks or the company they broker your moving with, however if you're on a budget, this is a great option.
My move was [redacted], total paid $3,100 after negotiating extra items to bring with movers. Not bad, considering I SAVED $4900.

Mike, I wanted to drop by and thank you for the relocation assistance your company provided us. A 3 bedroom home sounds like it's not a lot of moving, but after this move and $4200 later, I don't think I'll ever move again. We love the new place and you guys played a huge role in getting us to La Crescenta, CA from New Mexico. Out off all the moving done, The dining table chairs were the only items that got damaged because of the fragile wood material.

customer desired to be delivered only between January [redacted], 2016. Due to unforeseen circumstances the agent carrier could not meet those dates. The agent carrier advised the customer that delivery can happen the first week of February. The customer is not available until after February **, 2016. Delivery will occur after February **. The contract states: “Based on the load size and mileage of your move, delivery may take anywhere from 1-21 business days. Estimated time of delivery is determined by many factors beyond the control of any carrier and Assurance Van Line Services Inc. such as traffic delays, weather delays, mechanical issues, other customers on the route and/or any acts of God. Estimated delivery spreads: 0-500 miles: 0-4 days. 501-1000 miles: 1-6 days. 1001-1500 miles: 2-8 days. 1501-2000 miles: 3-10 days. 2001-2500 miles: 4-12 days. 2501-3000 miles: 5-14 days. Just got done relocating back to NYC from Miami and used Assurance Van Lines services to set the move and packing for me. For starters, these guys were professional from the beginning. 2 days before the move, Mark called me to confirm all the details and explain their policy. I explained that I had an extra 3 boxes that needed to be taken and he said that this wasn't accounted for but to run it through the movers that they had scheduled for me. Fabian was the driver and he just charged me an extra $100 for the 3 large boxes. Move went well and it was right on budget. Thanks!

Assurance Van Lines gave me a competitive price for my move which is one of the reasons I chose them. Overall a very pleasant experience. The movers they booked for me did their job as you'd expect a professional to do. Move took 12 days when it was estimated 7 days.

I couldn't book a pick up on the day I wanted because of the season, but they were able to find me a good time after work. The movers I got helped me tape all my boxes and break down my desk, dining table and 2 armories. The moving was done well and it took the truck 3 weeks to arrive.
Overall a good, professional experience.
