I have been a loyal customer of [redacted] Wireless for a long time and have always had insurance on my cell phonesI had to make a claim with Asurion before with no problems (time in almost years)However, this time was completely differentI was transferred several times between Asurion and [redacted] Reps, told I was basically lying, that I didn't have insurance at all (yet shows on the bill at $11) and told I had to file an Affidavit (which is not one at all due to not having to be notarized)After almost days, several phone calls, and today being on the phone for almost an hour; I am finally getting my Samsung Note replaced after it simply fell into a poolThis company used to have excellent customer service but this was the most "piss poor" customer service experience I have every hadAsurion's customer service almost caused [redacted] Wireless to lose a long term customer (10+ years)

My first horrible experience was when my phone had sustained some water damage The claim had been denied more than once for no good reason After I called to try and clarify why the claim was denied, they approved the claim and said a new phone was being shipped Then after several more days, they contacted me to say the phone was on back order and it was a "high demand" phone, I again called to complain, at this point it had been weeks with since initial claim was filed, and still didn't have a replacement phone While on the phone with rep explaining to me that the iPhone 6s was on backorder, a phone had miraculously turned up and was being shipped Second unfortunate encounter was when I lost my phone I did not report phone lost to AT&T, for a few days while I thought I would look for the phoneSince the I recorded the information on their form as being lost one day and reported to AT&T on another day, Asurion denied the claim again Just because I took a couple days to try and find the phone so I wouldn't have to file a claimAny phone encounter, their customer service reps are rude, talk in circles, offer no clear answers, and really show no clear indication that their customers mean squat to them They are more than happy to take your premiums, but making a claim all the way through to receiving a new phone, the are exceptionally proficient in making difficult I'd rather have teeth pulled sans anesthesia Probably the worst customer service I have ever been forced to deal with Congrats Asurion, you're worse than [redacted]

Completing a claim was tediousI was locked out of the claim when my shipping address wasn't accepted (It didn't recognize a suite number) and presented with a link to chat with a live representative who manually entered the address for me When I continued the claim, I was again locked out after correctly answering a series of verification questions and told I had to wait hours for next stepsThe next day, I was finally able to complete the claim with no explanation for the holdup My phone arrived promptly, but because it was presumably refurbished, broke a few days laterI'm now trying desperately to chat with someone, but, despite live chat being a promoted selling point on their website, that feature is nowhere to be found

I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for over years now My experience with Assurion has for the most part been less than favorable If they are not denying to fill a claim to replace an insured device, by claiming that the device has no coverage, (even after Verizon confirms coverage on all my lines of service), they have me jumping through hoops verifying my identity by downloading and uploading completed sworn Affidavit & Proof and Loss Statement only to let me know that my claim will be reviewed and I will be contacted by email within the next hours to let me know if my claim has been approved??? Why all the downloading and uploading smdh!

I lost my phone about a week after purchasing itAsurion sent me a new phone and due to an it Fedex driver, I never received my phoneI contacted Asurion immediatelyI was told that they were sending me out a new phoneDays go by, no email or contact of any kind along with no new phoneI've spent HOURS upon hours of time on the phone with them trying to get a new phoneI just keep getting rerouted to a gentleman named Trevor who returns my phone calls after I leave him about messagesNo one there can help meApparently there is a hold on my account and they aren't willing to send me out a new phoneI've now been charged $on my AT&T account and I still have no phoneI just got this line also so I'm going to be paying AT&T for years for a phone I don't even haveAsurion could not be further from helpfulThis Trevor fellow was nothing but rudeBasically said that I was going to have to pay them the deductible without getting a phoneI've contacted Fedex and they have a contract with AT&T stating that if a delivery driver loses a package they aren't responsible for reimbursing that customerAT&T can't even take the charge off of my account or get Asurion toI pay for this service every month and no one there can even tell me what is going on!

I dropped my phone and filed a claim on 9/to replace itI've been paying for this insurance for 2years and have never needed to use itI was told by the rep that a new iPhone 6s Plus 128GB would be to me by Wednesday at the latestOn Tuesday I was told via email that it's still on backorderI called and was told back orders usually only last 24-hours and I'd likely have it by FridayI called again yesterday since it was still on back order and was told 3-daysToday I received yet another email that it was on back order and was told 3-days again but that they really don't know and I have as much information as they do??!!One rep also said 7-daysiPhone 6s Plus is in stock EVERYWHERE but with Asurion, apparently they are waiting until they can send a refurb to me instead of forking over the cash that I've paid them and giving me a replacementI've been nearly a week with a shattered phone and no one can give me any discernible idea when my phone will be shippedI can't believe insurance for something vital to my business thinks it's acceptable to leave their customers without a phone for weeks on end! I am appalledAnd between the $they make off me and what they can resell my broken phone for they could afford to actually give me a brand new phone but instead I'm stuck without one while they wait for a broken one to come in and refurbThis is not insurance, this is a scam!

Filed a claim for a cracked iPhone 6S screenThey mailed me a replacement phone the following day, for $BUT IT HAD SOMEONE ELSE'S APPLE ID information on it--Long story short, Asurion didn't check to make sure that the previous owner had "Turned Off My Iphone" now I have to wait two more days to get a new phoneCompletely unsatisfied with how they handled it over the phone when I called, and I will never recommend Asurion to anyone again

Had a claim on my account that I tried to dispute with this company said they would take care of it It still on my account and the county detective is waiting for information from them to file charges and it's been or months that they have done nothing

This company has been extremely difficult to work with You pay for their insurance religiously for years and when you need to submit a claim you are asked to jump through hoops and rings of fire before they will even talk to you I think filing out taxes forms by myself would be easier and less difficult I was told by Sprint Customer Service (888) 211-you can start the process by calling Asurion at(800) 584-3666; however, this is a lie You can't do anything over the phone You actually need access to a computer, scanner and email, or a computer camera and email so multiple documents can be printed scanned and uploaded to their website Not to mention you need your driver's license, passport, federal ID card or matricula consular card to be scanned and/or photographed so it too can be uploaded with your completed claim form Asurion is the biggest joke! I've never experienced a company this ridiculous with such poor customer service I called (800) 584-and the Representative I spoke with repeatedly talked over me and wouldn't let me speak I would not recommend this company or the products they sellhorrible, just horrible! I have purchased an IPhone at AT&T store which was approx$and I have been making payments on it monthlyI also purchased insurance on it with Asurion through the AT&T.I dropped my phone and broke the glassPhone was still functioning fine.AT&T told me to call their insurance company Asurion.I have called them and asked them if they would fix the glass.Asurion company said they will upgrade my phone instead and they would send me SIPhoneI've told them that I was happy with my phone and I did not have any intention to change my phoneHowever they insist that they would send me a new phone and upgrade itI accepted their offerI had a major problem with the IPhone they have sent to me.The battery of the phone would die within minutes when I unplugged it from its charger.AT&T asked me to take it to Apple store in Walnut creek Ca,store.After waiting hours in the line, finally they checked my phone Apple store said it was not an Apple IPhone; it looked like an Apple IPhone but inside parts was completely differentI went back to nearby AT&T store, the store manager walked to the Apple store with me and talked to the Apple store manager himselfSo, IPhone was fakeI ended up buying a new phone, traded in the fake phone, there was no way I would deal with Asurion insurance company again.Asurion company gives fake Iphones to their customers.They said they would send me another one ,I had to refuse their offerThey charged me deductible .How can they give fake Apple IPhone to their customers and get away with it? Why would I pay hundreds of dollars for a made in china fake phone that does not even work? Each time I've called the Customer service of Asurion insurance company, they argued with me in an unprofessional manner, they hung up the phone on my face several timesAT&T is faulty as well as Asurion insurance for using this insurance company

I was told by AT&T when I purchased new iPhones through them, that the multi device protection plan with Asution would cover any mobile device including a laptopAfter having the insurance and paying premiums for months, I attempted to file a claim on my laptop which had stopped workingIt's been almost months and I have gotten nothing but the runaroundI was told several times that all my documentation had not been received, so I resubmitted what they claimed was missing, each time being promised I would hear something back from them within hoursThe last call I made, I spoke to a representative who told me that none of my documentation had been received, at which point I asked to speak to a managerI was placed on hold and being told she was getting a manager on the lineThen the same rep came back on the line and rod me that all my documents were there and that I should hear within hoursI heard nothingAt this point I began to read reviews of this company and decided based on my experience and the reviews that they were not trustworthy and that I would not want to trust them with any of my devicesI cancelled my planI feel that I was deceived, wasted money( for which I feel I should receive a refund), and now I cannot get my devices insured with a reputable company as it's too far past date of purchase

Completely disappointed with this Asurion and AT&T for using such a poor service I have been paying for their insurance for years, and recently washed my phone and had to make a claim Rather than simply being able to walk into the store and get a new phone, you are required to submit a claim, which takes 24-hours to process, then they mail you a refurbished phone Essentially their process results in not having a phone for four days Completely unacceptable especially when I use my cell phone for business What a waste of time and money Extremely disappointed in AT&T and this second rate insurance company

Well, the screen on my phone crackedContacted Asurion to file a claim, they (asurion) mailed me a prepaid packageSent my phone in the package they provideddays later and a phone call to their "customer service" center, I still have no phoneEven though they say it takes 3-days to fix and returnA joke of a company if I do say so myself

I have had insurance on my phone since I've had it for years now and every time I've made a claim I have always been able to pick it up the same day it's delivered because I work and can't sign for itBut this time I can't which now puts me without a phone for five days now even though they claim to have next day deliveryWhen I called customer service to see what the issue was I was constantly transferred back-and-forth never getting a clear answer or anyone who even remotely cared to help me resolve the issue What was even worse is the supervisor made it out to be my fault for not understanding their policieswhere has good customer service gone? But since there are no other real competitors for cell phone insurance I guess I will have to deal with it which is obviously something they know since they are unwilling to work with their customers

This company is terribleProcessed my damaged phone and paid $on SundayIt said 1-days for replacementI called to check status and they said at the earliest 14-days for a replacement phoneweeks without a phone that I use for business? weeks? What happened to the days you break your phone and you can get one the next day? I can get a car in hours but I can't get a simple phone for weeks? Terrible company

IF YOU CAN AVOID USING THIS COMPANY, DO SO! Do NOT expect a good experience when dealing with Asurion For me, their claim system failed half way through the process requiring me to call their customer service department and wait for them to answer They were nice enough to e-mail me the paper work required After completing the claim and uploading the documents, I received a message that they will be shipping me the wrong color phone I started a chat with the folks at Asurion to see if they could correct the issue and their response was no I asked if they could correct their records for possible future claims and their response was no Then after that, the customer "service" rep asked me if they could help me any further and immediately disconnected the chat I was in the process of typing a request to speak to a manager when the chat was disconnected

I bought a washing machine from [redacted] and decided to buy the warranty at the time of purchaseI thought I was buying it from [redacted] , but found out it was through AsurionI have had to use my warranty times now and this last time has been a night mareIm on day with out a washing machine and always told you will have to wait for someone to call you in days...Only to be told the same thing your part is on back orderCustomer service is awful! If I could stop every individual from buying from this company I wouldI even wrote to the CEO of [redacted] I recieved a phone call and parts quickly after placing the emailOne part was broke the other was the wrong partI had to make the dreaded call back to Asurion to let them knowToday I got to speak with a rude lady from there who told me I would have to wait it out while they ordered the part againSo dissatisfiedTired of going to the laundry mat and tired of dealing with ASURIANI don't understand how this place is even in business or how they have a A+ ratingAt some point or maybe years you would think they would replace the product or give me my money backI am beginning to think they are waiting for my warranty to expire

Worse company yetI have been trying to get a phone replace for a couple of days and they have the nerve to tell me that they will review in a few days to see if I'm getting a replacement phoneI will open a blog to find if there is enough disgruntled people and another carrier that will find another insurance company to replace asurion and ask people to move to that carrierThey take you through to much after they have been getting your moneyThey have good people but the company is a scam

I have called this company every hrs since they received my phone and every time (times now) they tell me that I should expect the e-gift card in my email within hrsToday was my 4th time calling and she just told me the same lie I payed $+ the 'Processing fee' they charge to use the insurance for a phone that costed $brand new, it is simply not worth itI suggest whoever you are that is reading this, buy a phone case and a screen protector it is much better than having to deal with this company!
