Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becauseAtlantic Toyota took recalled parts off my car which resulted in the spare tire being put in the back seat I was told they would have the parts in weeks That was August Then I was told Nov, then Dec now Toyota USA is saying maybe June or July 2015.Atlantic Toyota called and said they would reinstall the orginal parts if I signed a waver I called to make an appt and they tell me they don't have the parts When I call the parts dept they have the old parts but want to know who is going to pay for them It was their recall they should pay and I'll sign the waver I checked the cable twice for rust or damage before it was removed and it was ok I am a Gold Memember at Toyota and have Toyota in my driveway This is a simple cable that I could replace with a stainless steel one from any marine store but Atlantic Toyota took the windup mechanism I would like the orgianl factory equipment reinstalled In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Revdex.com had assisted me with a complaint against Atlantic Toyota a few weeks ago under the abive complaint IDThere was a resolution to the complaint as the business responded that they would issue a refund within daysWe have now passed that point and they have not issued the refundThe representative at the business, Robert T**, did not provide any contact information for follow upHow should I proceed? Will I have to open a new complaint?Thank you, [redacted]

In following with the conversation between myself and him that the dealership has explained that we cannot re-finance this transactionRe-financing this loan would cause a change in the interest rateSince, the customer already has a zero percent interest rate on this loan we would suggest not re-financingMichael B [redacted] Finance, Atlantic Toyota Scion

Good Morning: Please be advised that we would have to respectfully disagree with this complaint/concern.The client was in deed contacted by mgmt and they even signed a release as a goodwill settlementWe decided in the spirit of customer retention that we offered the client a check back equating to payments which totaled $in which the client gladly accepted as a resolutionThe client came in to the dealership and retrieved the check and the issue was settled and a release was signed we did contact the client and we did resolve the issue:

Hello: We arranged a meeting with this customer based upon her concernShe met with our business directorShe was given ample opportunity to cancel the transaction before it even beganShe stated that she was going to review her options with a family member which she in deed didNothing was done wrong and all relative documentation was signed for and was complaint and again the customer was given the time to make sure that her decision was a "sound" One The customer was offered out of our "goodwill" the ability to cancel her warranty to offset some of the expense Peter Z***

Atlantic Toyota is following the manufacturers protocol in the safety campaignThe spare tire has been removed from underneath the vehicle to prevent it from being dislodged and causing an injuryWe do understand that it is a slight inconvenience having the spare in the cargo area but are we are thinking of the safety of the general publicAt this point the dealership can take no further action in this matter until the parts are available to complete the recallWe do request that the consumer directs all of his concerns wth the manufacturer because the dealer cannot assist with this matter any furtherWe will contact the consumer as soon as parts are available and recall can be be completed

Our apology for taking too long to reimburse the client..It was reimbursed however it was on the ***...the client should have the credit back by no later than tomorrow..The issue has been handled and again our apology for taking too long and causing the client grief

Customer is dissatisfied regarding parts for spare tire cable recall taking too long to come in and tire put in back seat due to cable rust.Technician checks spare tire cable for rustAccording to recall as per Toyota guidelines, spare tire must be removed if cable is rusted or not to Toyotas guidelines In addition, Toyota requires us to remove spare tire, customer can opt to not have tire removed and put in back seat but must sign waiver.Customer relations manager spoke with customer prior to Revdex.com complaint Customer relations manager also left message for customer on viocemail, stating can have tire put back on but must sign waiver and also as per Toyota representative parts shoud be in minimum of days

To whom it may concern: This particular issue is a non covered item on all warrantiesPhysical damage is not coveredThe customer owned the vehicle over three years before any malfunction so clearly this was not an item present during the sale of the vehicleThe item in question is not covered by any of the warranties no matter what level or termThe warranty that the customer has is completely legitimate and is backed up by ToyotaThe customer decided to have the vehicle repaired at another dealership which was their choice but Atlantic Toyota never had the chance to offer help or a repair or even witness what repair was neededAgain the warranty does not cover damaged componentsThank you: [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] The salesman called and said that Atlantic Toyota would take care of all chargesThe online response refers to "necessary damage" That term is unclear Please clarify In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: No resolution has been provided by the businessAs the representative stated both here and on the phone, they either cannot or will not resolve this issue in the manor I requested In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Atlantic Toyota Scions [redacted] ***'s told me at the time I signed this lease agreement that I could do an "early return" and get my deposit backThe term "Capital Cost Reduction" decreases the value of the car I am leasing that is registered in the name of Toyota, they own this car not meThe car is advertised on T.Vfor lease at $a month with $2,down at signingI put down the total value of the car I traded in that was also in great condition a RAV They told me when I returned it they would not take a credit card and only accepted $2,from any bank account routing number to pay the last year on the leaseThen they told me I would also have to pay $1,to auction off the car ? Toyota told me another company owns the car not Toyota even after I showed them I have been making monthly payments to Toyota FinancialI purchased the insurance to cover any defects or problems with this car and put four new tires and breaks on it before it was turned inIf I do not own this car why am I paying a "Capital Cost Reduction" and they are selling it at a profit ? It was NOT my car, I leased itThe verbal details they gave me at the time I leased it is a "Consumer fraud conversation" where I told I would get back my depositWhen I come back for it they refer to the contract that says the COMPLETE opposite On 07-**-Toyota withdrew $and $out of my checking account to pay for the last year of this lease on a car they are selling and I am not driving or is it in my possession THAT ENTIRE YEARI'am paying for a service I am not receiving as they sell the car at a staggering profitKeeping the $6,I put down in the trade in becomes Toyota's ????? I was told I could apply this deposit to the purchase of the car at the end of the lease OR I COULD GET OUR MONEY BACKThis is what I was verbally told and why I agreed to sign the leaseMy monthly payments were $ a monthThe "Capital Cost Reduction" reduces the value of the car for Toyota, THEY OWN IT and are selling itThe car was registered to Toyota not me they owned it all alongThis is a "CONSUMER FRAUD." Along with two years of payments for the lease ,they get me to pay the last year for a car I don't have They keep the $6,I put down and it adds up to $10,The lease payments add up to $Toyota has made $22,on a car they could now sell for well over $15,That adds up to $37,for a car that sells for $24,newIf I paid the "Capital Cost Reduction" on this car how come I don't get to profit off its sale ? We Paid the "Capital Cost Reduction" ? is this an accounting term ? If Sales People are lying to your face and this is what they did to me you should investigate some moreJust telling me and my wife (who was with me) they did not own the car another company did and we would have to pay to auction this car off at $1,shows they are lying all the time to CustomersI plan to get a permit to demonstrate in front of this Dealer to warn people of the double talk and don't sign anything with themWhat they tell you verbally is not whats in the Contract at all and that should be a crime When this car is sold we should be informed of its sale price when it is registeredThe "Capital Cost Reduction" should be then looked at again if we paid for itThe sale price of the car used, minus the lease payments and the cost of the cars "Capital Cost Reduction" something we paid, should be refunded to us or taxes 100%.If a company is taking money from a Customer with out providing a good or a service its not called a profit its stealing [redacted] and [redacted]

This will be the dealership’s final response to this customer’s complaintIn following with our previous response sent and read on 22017, we had informed the customer that the refunded amounts will be applied the to the customer’s loanThe dealership has received the refund and has forward the same the customer’s financing institutionPlease inform the customer to contact his financing institution in regards to these funds for confirmation they have been applied to his loanRespectfully submitted, Robert JT [redacted] Legal Assistant General Counsel’s Office Atlantic Toyota

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The repair to my highlander was not physical damage, it was due to a hinge on my tailgate which caused the alignment of the door to be off which caused the gears of the motor to be damagedUnder the platinum warranty hinges are coveredI was having problems with the door right after I purchased the vehicle but didn't know it was out of the normSometimes when the I closed the door by the remote it would beep when it was almost closed then reopenWhen ***, the [redacted] from Sunrise Toyota, spoke with Toyota warranty they told him if I had Platinum coverage (which I thought I had) it would have covered the repairThe reason for an Extended warranty is to cover things that would go wrong with the vehicle during the duration of the warranty periodThe reason I went to another dealership to have the repair done was because I didn't trust Atlantic Toyota after the hassle they put me through after my purchaseThey intentionally avoided me after I purchased the vehicleEvery time I called to speak with someone the computers were down or they would say they would call me back and never didI even stopped by there several times to speak with the sales manager and when I asked for my original paperwork for the vehicle they told me they didn't have the keys for the filesIt really shouldn't make a difference where the vehicle was fixed because it was done at Toyota dealershipThe problem is still the fact that I was given a service agreement that was not what I wanted even though I was told I was purchasing the platinum warrantyI feel they deceived me when I purchased the vehicleAfter looking into the problem with the rear tailgate I found that it was a common problem on this vehicle but unfortunately there was never a recallI think Atlantic should cover the repair In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]
