Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that the matter has been resolved. However, the businesa disagreed with my original complain and states I was contacted by managementThis was completely untrue until after they received the complaint from Revdex.comI did not "gladly" accept their offer of two paymentsI accepted because it was the only offer available and really wanted to put this behind me as they were extremely frustrating to deal with.
Sincerely,
*** ***

There was a residual error in the lease figures and the finance manager contacted MrE*** to let him know, and asked if he would come in to sign a new contract with the correct residual. Mr E*** is exagerating about the finance manager saying we would take the car away. In
any case, as a good will gesture, we will contact the bank and pay the difference. MrE*** will not have to resign anything The finance manager has already contacted him to let him know that the matter is settled. MrE*** is very happy.Steve W***Business DirectorAtlantic Toyota

This customer signed all relative documents including bank contracts on the agreed prices with transparencyThere is nothing documented in any of the documents with regards to any reduction of paymentsA decision was made solely from goodwil from our businessl to offer the client
$1,on our part to keep the customer retained and they had agreed to accepting itI do not feel that there is any issue open at this timeIf the customer would like to again visit with a senior manager by all means we are open to that

This is JUST ONE of TWO matters with Atlantic Toyota!!!!
A refund was issued after some " negotiations"Atlantic Toyota wanted to give me HALF of the amount owedThe only reason I was payed was because I HAD IN WRITING from June what I was owedMy other complaint will be lodged soon

Customer was offered a new settlement amountCustomer was spoken to this weekWe are awaiting a response from the client

The *** *** *** met the customer yesterdayAn amicable decision between both parties was decided uponThe decision was made to cancel the entire transactionThe deposit money was reimbursed back to the clientThe customer is satisfied with the joint decision

I am unsure why the customer feels that this issue is unclearThe client can easily call my finance source and make any necessary verificationThe issue was resolved and it was resolved simply in the spirit of customer goodwill not because anything was done wrong or improperlyWe have been more than fair in our resolution process and we can only hope that the customer has a clear understanding that we listened to his concern and we rectified it without a long and involved debating process. Thank you: *** ***

The key in question is not here at the dealership.. The issue is one that is easily resolved from the dealership level by me approving goodwill funds to retain the customer. We will issue a check for $150.00 to the client which will arrive to them within 7 days or less.  Case can be...

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Revdex.com had assisted me with a complaint against Atlantic Toyota a few weeks ago under the abive complaint ID. There was a resolution to the complaint as the business responded that they would issue a refund within 15 days. We have now passed that point and they have not issued the refund. The representative at the business, Robert T**, did not provide any contact information for follow up. How should I proceed? Will I have to open a new complaint?Thank you, [redacted]

In following with the conversation between myself and him that the dealership has explained that we cannot re-finance this transaction. Re-financing this loan would cause a change in the interest rate. Since, the customer already has a zero percent interest rate on this loan we would suggest not re-financing. Michael B[redacted]Finance, Atlantic Toyota Scion

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

No this is not acceptable. I have already done this. I have already faxed a cancellation letter to Toyota Financial immediately upon receiving my first statement 1 week ago. The cancellation is already in progress without your assistance. I am requesting that my loan be restructured to what it SHOULD have been in the first place. This is a complete dismissal of my complaint which is that these coverages were added to my balance after I declined them.

After reviewing the Customer’s Complaint and file, we immediately began the process of cancelling the warranties and products which the customer stated he did not want. loan. Please allow 3 to 6 weeks for the completion of these cancellations. Please be advised, these refunds will not change the customer's 0% interest rate on his loan. Robert J. T** Legal Assistant Atlantic Toyota

Atlantic Toyota Scions [redacted]'s told me at the time I signed this lease agreement that I could do an "early return" and get my deposit back. The term "Capital Cost Reduction" decreases the value of the car I am leasing that is registered in the name of Toyota, they own this car not me. The car is advertised on T.V. for lease at $169.00 a month with $2,500.00 down at signing. I put down the total value of the car I traded in that was also in great condition a 2005 RAV 4. They told me when I returned it  they would not take a credit card and only accepted $2,999.00 from any bank account routing number to pay the last year on the lease. Then they told me I would also have to pay $1,000.00 to auction off the car ? Toyota  told me another company owns the car not Toyota even after I showed them I have been making monthly payments to Toyota Financial. I purchased the insurance to cover any defects or problems with this car and put four new tires and breaks on it before it was turned in. If I do not own this car why am I paying a "Capital Cost Reduction" and they are selling it at a profit ? It was NOT my car, I leased it. The  verbal details they gave me at the time I leased it is a "Consumer fraud conversation" where I told I would get back my deposit. When I come back for it they refer to the contract that says the COMPLETE  opposite.  On 07-**-17 Toyota withdrew $2999.00 and $417.18 out of my checking account to pay for the last year of this lease on a car they are selling and I am not driving or is it in my possession THAT ENTIRE YEAR. I'am paying for a service I am not receiving as they sell the car at a staggering profit. Keeping the $6,800.00 I put down in the trade in becomes Toyota's ?????  I was told I could apply this deposit to the purchase of the car at the end of the lease OR I COULD GET OUR MONEY BACK. This is what I was verbally told and why I agreed to sign the lease. My monthly payments were $235.86  a month. The "Capital Cost Reduction" reduces the value of the car for Toyota, THEY OWN IT  and are selling it. The car was registered to Toyota not me they owned it all along. This is a "CONSUMER FRAUD." Along with two years of payments for the lease ,they get me to pay the last year for a car I don't have.  They keep the $6,800.00 I put down and it adds up to $10,216.18. The lease payments add up to $5660.64. Toyota has made $22,676.82 on a car they could now sell for well over $15,000.00. That adds up to $37,6768.82 for a car that sells for $24,000.00 new. If I paid the "Capital Cost Reduction" on this car how come I don't get to profit off its sale ? We Paid the "Capital Cost Reduction" ? is this an accounting term ?  If Sales People are lying to your face and this is what they did to me you should investigate some more. Just telling me and my wife (who was with me) they did not own the car another company did and we would have to pay to auction this car off at $1,000.00 shows they are lying all the time to Customers. I plan to get a permit to demonstrate in front of this Dealer to warn people of the double talk and don't sign anything with them. What they tell you verbally is not whats in the Contract at all and that should be a crime.  When this car is sold we should be informed of its sale price when it is registered. The "Capital Cost Reduction" should be then looked at again if we paid for it. The sale price of the car used, minus the lease payments and the cost of the cars "Capital Cost Reduction" something we paid, should be refunded to us or taxes 100%.If a company is taking money from a Customer with out providing a good or a service its not called a profit its stealing.

Our apology for taking too long to reimburse the client..It was reimbursed however it was on the [redacted]...the client should have the credit back by no later than tomorrow..The issue has been handled and again our apology for taking too long and causing the client grief.

There is no mention of refunding the $1055 fee that I was charged.  I need to know how and when I will receive a refund before accepting their response.

Atlantic Toyota is following the manufacturers protocol in the safety campaign. The spare tire has been removed from underneath the vehicle to prevent it from being dislodged and causing an injury. We do understand that it is a slight inconvenience having the spare in the cargo area but are we are thinking of the safety of the general public. At this point the dealership can take no further action in this matter until the parts are available to complete the recall. We do request that the consumer directs all of his concerns wth the manufacturer because the dealer cannot assist with this matter any further. We will contact the consumer as soon as parts are available and recall can be be completed
