Wow!! What a pleasant experience

Very professional but so down to earth when the human touch as well unlike my first title Ive ever taken out a few month ago for a family emergency. I recently went to Auto Equity Loans to get a loan on my truck. The process went smoothly and I thought everything was all set. I deposited the check that day. Now, two days later, I got a notice from my bank that the check bounced.

This place is horrible. The staff ([redacted]) is extremely rude. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER I REPEAT NEVER GO HERE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND ALSO TALK TO YOU AS IF YOUR A PIECE OF $%^&

Review: In the beginning everything I was fine. I was giving a loan through this company. I paid extra towards my loan, I was never late and never missed a payment. I contacted the company to inquire about making a double payment around December 2014. I wanted to make sure during the holidays I didn't fall behind. Unfortunately, I was giving incorrect information by a company representative named of [redacted]. Around January 29 I was contacted by the manager named Jasmine Johnson stating that I needed to make a payment. Upset and confused, I explained that I had already made the payment in December. After about a week I contacted the company because I had not heard anything else. Basically I was told that the extra payment went towards the principle owed. I was assured not to worry and that things would be sorted out. This was not accurate, because I was still contacted as if I was late. Ultimately, I made double payments until I finalized my loan. I am fortunate because I had the cash to make the extra payments. If I didn't I could have been in more debt and in danger of losing my car for $750. I have requested documents regarding my matter. After calling multiple times the letter I was giving was vague and the company representative seems not want to give me information to contact the proper people regarding my matter. I paid my loan off as of February 27, 2015 I even paid an extra $10 fee to have my title mailed to me. Almost 30 days later I have not received my title or a final statement.Desired Settlement: I have submitted a later stating my concerns to the company I have yet to receive correspondence. I would like at letter in detail acknowledging and stating the circumstances and an apology for the mismanagement and incorrect information; as well as the title to my vehicle free and clear!

This is a great company if you are in a stressful situation and need a title loan, or a title loan re financed. They have awesome interest rates and provide excellent customer service !!! I would recommend everyone to use this business if looking for a title loan. They go above and beyond great customer service.

Review: I lost my job. I plan to file bankruptcy at this point as I have no income and am now accumulating a large amount of debt. I orginially thought I would have funds coming in but all resources have fallen through. I told them I did not have the money I explained several times I would not have funds until 10/5 because that's when I thought I was going to recieve funds from a new job. My new job unfortunately turned out to be an Internet scam. I have started to take the necessary steps toward bankruptcy but will need to gather/save the funds required for filing and working out a payment plan with an attorney. I have been in contact with a couple but none are retained as of yet. This company has called me every single day. If I miss a call they begin to harass my references which they did not even bother to call when the loan was taken out. They have not offered in anyway to work with me. Only to tell me they are going to try and repossess my vehicle. These constant phone calls are a form of harassment. If someone tells you there's nothing they can do right now or whatever the case is this incessant need to call is not helping. It adds stress and quite frankly is absurd. And to bother and give out false information to ones references is also not needed. I have personally heard voicemails for my references stating they could not reach me and things like that which are absolutely not true. This is among other things. This is a violation of my privacy and I want it to cease immediately.Desired Settlement: I would like them to cease all contact with me and my references. Once retained the attorney will contact them when needed for bankruptcy.

Review: I have a loan with them and my car title is on the line. I moved and need to register my car in the new state and they have been dodging my request to fax the info to the current state I live in. I ask to speak to the district manager for the past 4 days and she is never available and never returns my calls. I will be without the use of my vehicle after tomorrow. I am very upset with these folks to begin with, I was told my loan contract was for 7 months in April now I am told it is for 12. It is ridiculous how they treat customers and they way they do business. They are charging 300% interest which I don't see how it is legal.Desired Settlement: I would like them to do what I asked...I need to be able to use my car legally. and I'd like to know why I was told one thing one the contract and it is completely different.

Ms. [redacted] was given the telephone number to the district manager but the district manager has not received a call from her as of yet. She continues to contact the offices and speak to loan officers regarding her situation. The district manager is mobile and if Ms. [redacted] calls her directly, she will be able to speak with her or leave a voicemail so she can contact her back. We are lien holders on the title, so we can not release the title until the loan is paid in full. To transfer registration from one state to another as Ms. [redacted] is attempting to do, the customer does not have to have title in hand. Many people transfer registration and are still financing their vehicle, so they never have physical possession of the title. The same is the case with a title loan, we can not release the title while we are still lien holders with an open account. As for the interest on the account, the client may want to refer to her contract. The APR on the loan is at 180% for a 12 month amortized loan. A loan officer goes over the contract extensively prior to asking the client to sign anything. So the loan was set at the 12 month term and she signed the contract agreeing to those terms. I am not certain where the client gets the rate of 300% from.

Review: When I originally received a loan through this company Auto Equity Loan my payments were explained to me they were due on the 1st of each month.I have been making my payments on the 1st of each month. During the month sometimes we have the date of 30th and 31st which they are telling me they are due then. I explained to them when I got this loan that I get paid once a month on the 1st through my pension (State).Each month before my due date I start getting calls from this office constantly, sometimes three times a day. Keep repeating to me that my payments are due. I feel this is harrassment and explained to them they do not have to call me that many times in reference to my payment.On today I received a call 7/30/14 from Sequoa (I believe her name was)at 10:23 a.m and then again at 1:29 p.m. I later called their office when I stepped out of class to see what the urgent message was. She constantly screaming telling me my payment is late and I would owe for two months now. I paid on July 1st my payment. No one told me that was for June. Now she is telling me August 1st when I make a payment that is for July 2014.I have been making payments on this loan and all I am paying is interest. Nothing is going through my principal payment but a few dollars each month.The service in this place is unprofessional and I would like the harrassing calls to stop.Their office is also aware that I only have one income and receive that on the 1st of each month and explained to them constantly no payments can be made until then. But the phone calls will not stop.I would like something done as soon as possible.Desired Settlement: I would like the phone calls to stop. I am aware of the payments and when they are due. The constant phone calls each month is nerve racking and un professional.I am aware when they are due and they only can get it when I receive it.
