Review: September 2013 I traded my car for a 2007 [redacted] from Auto Giants. They gave me a 30 day warranty. Well in my second month exactly of having the car the engine locked on me. I had to take the car to them 3 times before this for repairs. Not only did this happen but they never contacted me about my tags. When I reached out they told me I had a insurance problem which the insurance company Gieco said I didn't. When asked were they going to contact me to inform me, I was told no they was not. This was after the paper tags had died. Now Im stuck with a car that does not work and they are not trying to assist me at all. The guy who sold me the car became very poor in customer service when I will contact them about my previous proble**. To the extent he became very hard to work with even when my mom was trying to talk to him. He was very rude. What should I do?Desired Settlement: I would either want them to fix the engine, let me get a different car, or a refund. I like the car just want the problem fixed. According to mechanics, the water pipe and engine was going bad before I purchased the truck and was told the dealership should have seen this problem before selling me the car. Now I'm stuck with a car I can't drive and finance company wants their money.

Dear Sir or Madam:
I am writing this letter regarding the deceptive, “bait & switch” tactics used by
AUTOGIANTS.com
4800 Branch Avenue
Temple Hills, MD 20748
Here's WHAT HAPPENED ---
This automobile dealership employs very nice, friendly customer service people to answer their phone when a person like me places a phone call in response to an incredible television commercial advertising $88/down $88/month. This nice person goes on to tell how the only requirements and documentation needed are: (1) proof of income, (2) proof of residency (3) valid driver license.
In addition, NO INCOME REQUIREMENT (I stated mine is Social Security Retirement). POOR CREDIT IS NOT A PROBLEM because this $88/$88 Program is designed for people with low, but stable incomes & low credit score. I asked her repeatedly, in different ways if there would be higher down payment required or a higher credit rating needed. The answer was always: NO, because the company wants to help people, like yourself who are unable to get a traditional loan.
Full of hope, that I could get a car, so I could drive to a job, I set out on a long & expensive public transportation journey: 1st a bus, then a long subway ride to Branch Avenue where a nice driver person picked me up & drove me to my appointment. I had the impression I would meet with the person I spoke to on the phone. Not so. The driver was actually a Salesman. Ok fine. I presented all the required documentation. Then, Mike W[redacted] Sales Manager took over. He told me I would need a minimum income of $1800 along with $1500 minimum down payment. I am livid!!! As I told him: At least instruct your phone people to say: A higher down payment and a minimum income requirement may be needed. But they don't! AUTOGIANTS.COM dupes Senior Citizens with false advertisement, deceptive, “bait & switch” tactics. That is what I experienced on this day, October 29, 2015.
They should be required to at the very least to TELL THE TRUTH! How about that for a novel approach to doing business. Not only do they give Senior Citizens like me A FALSE SENSE OF HOPE, BY TELLING LIES, they also WASTED MY PRESCIOUS TIME, ENERGY & THE MONEY I USED TO travel from one extreme end of the Green Line to the opposite end at Branch Ave.
Granted, while I am working on improving my low credit and low salary, THEY MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRICK, LIE, AND DECEIVE. IT SOUNDS LIKE FRAUD. Aren't there LAWS against tactics like this?
Thank you very much for your time and attention to my Complaint. I can only hope the Revdex.com & The Office of the Attorney General will take action against them so these lying, deceptive practices will be stopped.
Thank you!
Cc: Revdex.com

Review: I have spoke with two sales representatives and one manager about being taken out of the companies database and on their do not call list. I have been called four times after being told that this would be taken care of.Desired Settlement: Take me off of your call list and never contact me again.

[redacted] Good Afternoon-

I am not a fan of this business, to say the least. For one, they false advertise. But that's another stoy for another day. I purchased a vehicle from them in May of 2015. I saw the vehicle in passing, and decided to give it a go. I needed to trade another vehicle in, but that has a full story that's beside the point. As for my purchase experience and vehicle...well, here it goes. For starters, I went in knowing what I wanted. When I told them the vehicle I was interested in, they gave me the run around and I couldn't understand why. I told them up front that I was prepared to get a loan from my credit union for the full value of the car. They said ok, and sat me down. I asked about the price, and to see the inside of the vehicle. They kept telling me to wait; that they were working out a deal, etc. etc. For hours they never came back with a price, nor the keys to let me see the vehicle. So I sat from about 8am to noon. Finally, around noon they came with an "update" that was irrelevant and I couldn't understand that either. Long story short, come to find out, after sitting there from 8am to 4pm, they come and ask to me to see if I can get a loan from my bank. I had already told them that's what I intended to do. So all that time, they were running my credit, against my wishes and permission, and doing hard checks at that. They allowed at least 6 or 7 banks to run my credit (all those inquires do affect your credit score). That's STRIKE 2 (STRIKE 1 was I had been sitting there all day). I got the loan with no problem from my credit union when I finally called them. But while I was on the phone with the credit union, they run to me with a price that was different from what was quoted before. I told them no, I was sticking with the first number, take it or leave it. STRIKE 3. I should have walked but I didn't. But it gets worse. After I told them I was approved for the loan, and that I could go pick up the check, they run to me again. This time they say, "oh wait, don't tell the person at the bank you're coming to get the check, yet." Come to find out, the boss' neice was coming to purchase the same vehicle later that day and they're weren't supposed to sell it. HA! Ridiculous. I told them oh well. That's their issue. I wasn't walking out of there w/o that vehicle after going through all of that. Then, we test drive the car, and I'm testing things out to see if everything is ok. There are several issues I raised (some never resolved). They tell you that for 7 days they'll fix anything that's wrong with the car....I asked for clarity b/c that's vague. But they said ANYTHING. So here we go...it needed brakes/pads, etc. It drove terrible. They did replace those after going back and forth with me about the rain doing that and that it would get better after you drove it for a day (yeah, right!). Then there was the cd player. It didn't work either when I test drove it. I let them know that, and they said it would be fixed. Go to pick it up and there are scratches from the front to the back of the vehicle...long continuous scratches -- scratches that I would definitely have noticed on the day of purchase. I asked them to get those off and I was told the buffer only comes 2 days out of the week (he hasn't been there any day since I've bought the car). Back to the cd player, can't be fixed. They were supposed to order one to replace. They ordered one, made me come all the way back drop the vehicle off, and be without wheels from 2 days, only to call and tell me it the replacement doesn't work. Pure waste of time! Everyday I'm being given the run around about the cd player. Then the service manager had the nerve to say, "well it's not a saftey issue so you shouldn't be worried." WHAT? It doesn't matter. You advertised a vehicle and on the window among the list of features, CD Player was on there (so one would assume it's in working order). Besides that, it was clarified that ANYTHING that was wrong with the vehicle within 7 days of purchase could be fixed. Then, he takes the cheap route and orders and aftermarket unit. He calls to tell me to come look at it. Me being the smar t guy I am, I did some research. So going in, I already knew what he was going to show me, and I knew I didn't like it. But before I researched, I already told him I knew I wouldn't like it better than the original unit. But like a fool, I went; and I wasn't disappointed (by me). It was exactly what I knew it was going to be and I told him No. He said he'd keep looking. I've found several OEM units for my vehicle. He's just being cheap and doesn't want to pay for them. BEWARE!!!!! Do NOT purchase a vehicle from here. When I purchased mine, the power went out for an hour while I was sitting there. THAT was my sign from GOD to GET OUT of there! I could kick myself in the butt for not listening. I can't stress it enough. DO NOT make your life any more stressful than it already is buy getting a car from here.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL PLACE. Went there with my roommate to get a car- he has bad credit, but this place advertises that they can get you approved no matter what- that's a lie. We sat there for hours while they tried to put the car and papers in his MOTHER'S name since they couldn't get HIM approved. Finally, they said we were approved and started showing us cars that we could drive. After the first test drive, they suddenly said we weren't approved for that car and gave us others to try. Finally, we settled on one and filled out all the paperwork on our end. We were told to come back the next day when they would finish processing all the paperwork to finalize some things and get the car. At this point I had put a down-payment on the car and they told us "congrats! You got a car!". When we came back, we were told THREE different things about what happened to the car that we had supposedly purchased. First it was that the car had been defective and they didn't want to sell us a defective car so they were going to fix it and we could either wait for it to be fixed or pick out another car. Then someone else told us that they had actually sold that same car a few minutes after we left the shop the previous day. The third story was that the car had been sent back to where it had originally been purchased from. This was a car that we had SIGNED FOR AND PUT A DOWN PAYMENT ON. Then, we decided to pick out another car... only to be told after numerous more hours, that our financing hadn't come through afterall... (after it had just come through the other day supposedly). So we left angrily.... only to get a call a week later from someone telling us that our financing had been approved afterall. Naturally, we NEVER went back. I'm currently in the process of trying to get my 200$ deposit on the car that we supposedly 'bought' and everyone is being so rude and unhelpful. I've been on hold for at least half an hour and been hung up on and talked down to. When I went there this weekend to get my money back (and was told to call Monday) they said "We don't want your money. We'll give it back to you." in the rudest d[redacted] tone I have ever heard. These are the most unprofessional individuals I have ever met.
UPDATE: I spent 3 hours on the phone trying to reach someone today who could talk to me about the money I was owed. Finally, I reached Kim who told me she would check out my situation and for me to call back in 30 minutes. When I called back I was on hold for over 45 minutes.. I finally hung up and called back, only to be informed that Kim had left for the day.
If I do not get my money back, I will be filing a complaint.
Never. Go. Here.

I purchased a vehicle in October 2014. In November 2015 my vehicle stopped in the middle of the road and was towed to the manufacturing dealer. I found out that my car have 9 recalls one of which was just announced September 2015. I asked how is this possible I just brought the car last year? None of the recalls were fixed on this car before my purchase of this vehicle. This vehicle is considered a lemon under the Maryland law. At this point it's still at the dealer I'm still making on time payments and I have no car...! I called this company and they stated its nothing they car do.
