I have been trying to get my refund from Auto protection Plus now for 3 months. I have called them daily for them to tell me I have to speak to the accounts department and they will have to have them call me back because the line is always busy. I have yet to receive a phone call back nor I have I received my refund check from them. I also have several emails to them and they haven’t responded to 1 of them. So I finally reported them to the BBB who already had a great knowledge of this company. I have contacted my banks fraud department and a lawyer as well. They have told me my check was mailed and I would have it by September 9th. It is October 29th and it doesn’t take 8 weeks to get a check from California to Texas. I’m fed up with their lies. I will do everything in my power to get what’s rightfully mine and see that this company is put out of business. They are thieves as far as I’m concerned. I never finished paying for the warranty because I purchased a newer vehicle and did not need their product. My suggestion to them is don’t lie to people and do your jobs. Now they no longer answer phones they let them go to voice mail and say they will call you the next day. Don’t hold your breath...

Case ID [redacted] – Customer had policy for almost 2 years. Customer cancelled 2/29/2016 but did not provide odometer statement as instructed. We received odometer statement on 6/20/2016. Customer is scheduled to receive refund on 8/4/2016 via check.

CUSTOMER NEVER SENT IN THE REQUESTED CANCEL DOCUMENTS PER THE CONTRACT, WE CANCELLED THE CONTRACT OUT IN GOOD FAITH AND STOPPED ANY FUTURE BILLING FROM OCCURRING. ON JUNE 6, 2017 WE ALSO REFUNDED HER  DOWNPAYMENT AMOUNT IN GOOD FAITH THAT SHE DID SEND IN THE CANCELLATION DOCUMENTS AND ODOMETER STATEMENT. TO DATE WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REQUESTED CANCELLATION DOCUMENTS. ON OUR END WE DID MORE THAN WAS REQUIRED IN THIS CASE PRIOR TO EVEN GETTING DOCUMENTATION. WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR CUSTOMER TO SEND IN DOCUMENTS TO PROCEED FURTHER.

Still waiting for my refund from auto protection plus. I called and asked about my full refund with the representative said I shall receive my refund in April 16th but I still haven’t received anything so I am a bit concerned. I completed the requirement by mailing my cancelation request and I received a call back from the representative the it’s been confirmed that they received my cancellation. It would be better if they can be more consistent with what they say to customers especially when it comes to refunding people.

THIS CUSTOMER ORIGINALLY REQUESTED A CHECK REFUND INSTEAD OF REFUND TO CREDIT CARD. WHEN CUSTOMER WAS TOLD OF TIME FRAME TO RECEIVE CHECK VIA US MAIL, CUSTOMER THEN CHANGED REQUEST TO CREDIT CARD REFUND. Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  I did not "refuse" to send in the cancellation notice -- I don't understand the basis of their statement since I verbally agreed to send in the cancellation notice and even called multiple times to ask the business for clarifying instructions.  The cancellation form was sent on the Monday after I submitted my Revdex.com complaint but now they are claiming they never received it.I resolved the issue with my bank (thankfully), although I am still very unhappy with my experience as a Auto Protection Plus customer -- especially now as they are making false claims about my cooperation with their cancellation policy.I don't think further action is necessary by the Revdex.com.  Thank you for your help in this matter.Best Regards,[redacted]
