Revdex.com, I have reviewed the customer's orderThe customer placed an order for an tonneau cover, which is a very heavy item, so it ships out via Freight TruckWhen an item ships out via Freight there are special delivery laws that are beyond our controlBy law the freight company has to allow the customer to fully inspect the item to ensure there are no damages to the item because once the customer signs the Bill of Lading (BOL) by law, they are accepting the package as isSo if the customer signs the BOL and there is any damage, the freight company is no longer liable which means we are unable to file a shipping claimDue to the special instructions that are associated with freight, AutoAnything, takes great pride in educating our customers about the special freight laws so they do not end up stuck with an item that is damaged because they wee unaware with the freight lawsOn 11/we emailed this customer informing him of the freight lawsThe customer also called in to check his order status on 11/11, where we also verbally informed the customer of the freight laws (call is recorded) Even though we did our due diligence by informing this customer that if he signs the package he is stuck with it on two separate occasion, once verbally and once via email, we still offered the customer a $to help with repairs since we are not able to file a shipping claim since the customer signed the BOL accepting all responsibilityThe customer has refunded our $credit Regards, [redacted] AutoAnything Contact Center Manager

Revdex.com, We would like to apologize for the inconvenience we have caused this customerAfter the order was placed the manufacturer of the wheels contacted us to inform us that they just discovered an issue with fitment and they did not want to inconvenience the customer by sending these out when they just discovered the issue and knew the customer would have to end up sending them backThey tested it and it failed so they could not send this to the customer until they fixed the issueWe did not feel comfortable selling this until we heard back and we proactively cancelled the orderWe understand this is an inconvenience to the customer but we felt it would be more of an inconvenience to send this out when we knew it was not going to work for the customer's vehiclethe customer has been refunded in full for the order Regards, [redacted] AutoAnything Customer Service

I just want to say that this is a good business and sometime they will mess up I ordered a car cover and with a center speaker for my car I waited about a week and I got a email saying it was delivered and and I looked where it was delivered to and it was clear across united states to a military base I look at my shipping address and it was correct so ups messed up and the support said they would fix it They asked what cover it was and they would ship me a new one because of the error About a week later I got the new cover and it ended up being the wrong cover with out the center speaker But I could not send it back because when I opened it, the warranty part was ripped off and was in the boxIm guessing that when they were shipping, they acceditly ripped off the warrenty part with the recite and just shoved in the box thinking it was the right cover I guessbut anyways days later im guess the military base must of corrected the wrong delivery and sent me my first cover I ordered what when I looked I was the right one And I was happy to get it I called the support people and told them that I got the correct cover in the mail and that I had a extra cover that the support sent me that some reason that the tag was ripped off They told me sorry that they can't take the order back if the warranty is ripped off Well i'm fine that I can't send the cover back but I was charged for the seconded order that I can't get my extra dollars they charged me, but i'm fine with that It's been almost a months and I got on to order some new car matts I looked at my shipping to check up on my package and I seen that I had the two dash covers and thought I had to write a review to tell people that sometimes they mess up

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have tried to attach a file with detailed response Each time I try it goes to an error page I have photos, receipts, emails to support my position that the business has sent me a broken part and also sent me two defective parts These first item should be replaced as a broken part they sent me The bumper lights should be replaced as a warranty item since they were defective I have tried to attach just a couple pictures and email from manufacturers rep since entire file won't load and that work either How can I send these?
