Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The company continues to lie and deflect responsibility.  I am attaching my initial email to the company, where I was informing them of the missing items along with the chain of emails from the past MONTH.  As you will notice, no where did the company indicate they need pictures of "ripped" boxes.  After one month, they do not want to accept responsibility and ask for pics of boxes?!  This also does not explain the missing twin bed (which was packed by them), and a box full of items that belong to someone else!! I was nice enough to inform them of this out of concern for the owner, but after one month, I have yet to hear one word about them finding the proper owner or asking me to ship this box back to them.  I am not a storage company, and will not continue holding others items due to their negligence.  I am surprised this company is in business, and only assume it's due to people like me who are not informed of their negligent business practices prior to utilizing their service.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
I never rejected the $200 offer. I asked to speak with the manager to explain where the extra $800 came from and to be reimbursed for the few broken items. I'll take the $200 and be done with it.
Sincerely,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

My complaint has not been resolved because : a) I do not have my missing items                                                                    b) The amount offered is unacceptable because as I have said it barely covers tip money that I paid out, not to mention headache dealing with this company.                                                                    c) Now, they are lying and saying that I signed the contract closing out bill stating that I was happy with service and that I received all my items and that I received them without damage, which seems to be a violation of the Revdex.com's standards of accreditation for keeping their A+ rating. As far as them keeping in contact with me these past couple of weeks, that's another lie, if I had not been the one to keep calling them then I would not of even gotten  that joke of an offer for $200. I have a copy of the closing out bill so I am actually shocked that they would be so bold as to try and lie about that.  If I did sign off as to having all of my property then why would they tell me to file a claim for my missing things. As far as the courtesy from their foreman Alex, the tip bully, he could not charge me extra for walking up to the 3rd floor because it clearly says on my bill/contract apartment **, so he did not do me a favor, his company messed up and could not charge me at that time or they would have. They are out right lying at this point and now I can not even get a word with any one in management. This company's actions at this point are becoming criminal and I wish that I had the money to hire a lawyer at this point, hopefully the good folks at the Revdex.com can help me to resolve this matter with this rogue moving company. I have also filed a complaint with the FMCSA.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Sincerely,[redacted]

We have tried to rectify the situation with [redacted]. We have sent her a settlement amount based on her liability insurance level that she opted out to. She don't want to agree with the settlement.

The explanation is not entirely true and accurate. We are missing a chest, not chairs. A personal check at pick up was acceptable. We needed money orders for delivery only.  They said they needed cash for gas to get back to the warehouse. Sounded odd to us so we questioned it and then were told that is normal. I have never heard of that. We were told our date could be delayed for delivery due to unforseen circumstances. We were not told it would automatically be scheduled 7-10 days from pick up. We were promised careful loading and undamaged items. I understand things can be damaged but not over half of the items being crushed. Even a large rolling toolbox was damaged. I had a message that they were trying to locate the chest 3 weeks ago and nothing since. We have been trying to resolve this since July. I am working on claim forms but am afraid they will also be ignored. I was promised a d[redacted]unt in July and believe I deserve a partial at least. As for arriving late, we did not receive a phone call as promised on move day with an estimated time. We called the main office and they called the truck driver. They said the drivers ate to call the office as well if they are running late.

We Never Serviced this customer we explained to them from the start of the week that we would not have a truck in the area and we will try to accommodate them if we can we even found another company that could pick them up and honor the same price but they wanted to cancel the service so we did and...

refunded the deposit.

To Whom It May Concern,We apologize that the customer was not satisfied with her move. I will explain everything that occurred. The customers original estimate was for 311 cubic feet worth of items and when we got to her house she actually had 485 cubic feet worth of items. Her original estimate was...

for 38 pieces, upon our arrival she had 70 pieces. That is the reason for the increase in price. The estimate says that if the customer has more items than stated on the original estimate, the customer must pay for any additional items. The customer was charged for a stair fee of $75, and she requested additional packing materials that were not included in the original estimate. These additional charges are well stated in the contract that the customer signed. The additional $350 that the delivery driver charged the customer was because the customer needed a shuttle service. An 18 wheeler truck was not able to fit in her residential area. This shuttle service is standard in the moving industry. There are many locations that an 18 wheeler can not possibly fit, that is why drivers sometimes are required to offer shuttle services. We felt bad that the customer was not satisfied and that we were late upon delivering her items, so we offered the customer a $200 refund, which she rejected. We can not force the customer to accept our refund request. If there are any questions please contact us anytime. We are here to help! Thank You, James S[redacted]We Move U

To Whom It May Concern,  We stand by the contract, the customer had 108 boxes. She was happy with the $500 d[redacted]unt at the time. Upon delivery, she cursed out our delivery team and told them to get out. They tried to set up her items, but she said no get out. She received a $500 d[redacted]unt, the $822 dispute we let go back to the customer. That was added back on to her bill and she paid in full upon delivery. The customer was very happy with the $500 d[redacted]unt, we did not charge her any storage fees.  We Move U

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

We contacted the moving company yesterday to ask where is the rest of our household goods and various items. The guy that answer the phone said his name was Lee, and the only answer he could provide for us was he didn't know where the rest of our household goods were or when we would be able to receive them. He said he is unable to reach the truck driver and left it at that stating there is no more info he can give us at this time. No compensation was offered in the meantime or nothing. No idea from this company as to where our belongings are and from the tone in their voice they don't really care because they have already been paid.

The business says they have been in contact with us they have not! We have been calling them and have head zero response from the manger Daisy. The delivery was more then three businesses days late! The driver threatened us that we would leave our belonging in a storage unit if we weren't not able to take are belonging in at 1am on a work day. We agreed to 6am as long as they were not late they showed up at 7am and tried to leave without putting any of our belongings together not to mention it's a good thing I'm an honest person because the movers brought in a table that was not mine !!! Again we have given Daisy till today to get back to us with a proper discount and if she does not I will continue to post on Facebook and Revdex.com because no one should have to go through what we went through with this company !!! You can't ever get ahold of them and everything is lies !

To Whom It May Concern, The customers estimate was for 62 items. When we arrived at her house she had a total of 108 items. This is all in the contract which was signed by the customer. We will gladly send all signed paperwork to you. The estimate did not include any additional packing, she did...

not specify that she needed packing for any of her items. When the workers arrived at her house, she needed additional packing totalling $140.00. We already gave the customer a d[redacted]unt of $500 for any inconveniences that she occured during her move. $500 is a very large d[redacted]unt and we already gave her this d[redacted]unt in trying to resolve this matter. She disputed the credit card charge which held up her delivery. We needed payment in order to dispatch her items out to her. We do not send out deliveries unless there is a payment made, and she disputed the charge so we were holding her items in our storage until she made a payment. We told her there would be a $45 per day storage fee until we received payment. She has called our office threatening our employees and she has stalked our office. She told our employees that she knows where they work and she was watching them. This behavior is unacceptable. We did our part in trying to make the customer happy by giving her the $500 d[redacted]unt. Again, all paperwork and contracts were signed by the customer. Thank you. James S[redacted]We Move U

we have spoken to the consumer and we both agreed to a settlement of $1000.00 to settle this complaint

[I did not get an inventory list of items that were delivered to the storage unit. The TV is a lost cause because they did not log it on my inventory list going out, but I have two witnesses including myself, so that's three. However the person who took it knows. I want compensation for damages to my items. I have submitted all original paperwork and photos to this third party company, [redacted], which they sound a little fishy as well, I tell you this has been a nightmare dealing with company and their claims company. I got to the storage unit a month later because that is when I was able to retrieve my belongings, and take them elsewhere. I have done all that is asked of me during this claims process. Attached are some of the pictures, my brand new sofa was completely wrapped in plastic but they still managed to tear it, the ottoman that is part of the chaise the legs are missing, the dining room table legs are missing, these things are useless. The sofa was brand new.  Your Answer Here]

complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[they make it seem like they have been so willing to rectify this situation and that is so far from the truth. If it were your belongings and they offered you $44, for a sofa you paid $725 you would be frustrated and aggravated as well, its not only that what about the legs to my dining room table, my ottoman, see those items are now not usable and this has cost me money that I do not have to replace these things. This is not over I am contacting the news station in my area to investigate these people. This is not right what they do to peoples belongings when they have entrusted them to move them. $44 will not cover the damages that their employees have done.]

Because nothing has changed, this company continues to violate the standards of accreditation that got them their A rating and me accepting this offer would only validate their behavior. They are not and have not kept in contact with me but rather it is I who have tirelessly tried to reach out to them, and now they do not even connect me to who I ask for once they find out it is me calling, their behavior is disgusting. The log of calls that they have recorded are from me calling them, it is not the other way around. I am tired of this whole situation and am now dealing with hurricane Irma as I write this. I do not care so much about the money but rather the principle, I have children and I need to show them that they have to follow things out until the end, especially when you are right. I will file a civil claim as I have stated before because I believe in justice and that I am right. My thanks to the Revdex.com for their attempt to resolve this matter. [redacted]
